  1. You know, the one problem with your statement is that WE ARE NOT THE COACHES! Oh yeah...WE ARE NOT THE PLAYERS EITHER! Nobody here WANTS us to lose. Nobody WANTS us to miss the playoffs. What we talk about here week in and week out isn't going to have one bit of impact on the game come Sunday. The head coach should not publicly state that the playoffs are out of reach until it is mathematically impossible. FANS can talk until they are blue in the face about all of the different possibilities all they want. That's what we do.

  3. Yeah, I just deleted my post. I can't read.
  4. Here are some good ones: "It's kind of hard to keep your head from being lopsided if you have half of the field in your helmet". "When you lose your best cornerback and your punt returner, I'd say that's a double loss". Winning is a great deoderant. You never want to go backwards in the end zone. Of course, if he had had control of the ball when he hit the ground, then it would have been a complete pass. Coaches have to watch for what they don't want to see and listen to what they don't want to hear. Self-praise is for losers. Be a winner. Stand for something. Always have class, and be humble. The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break. The only yardstick for success our society has is being a champion. No one remembers anything else. The road to Easy Street goes through the sewer. With all his tumid boasts, he's like the sword-fish, who only wears his weapon in his mouth.
  5. Bah...usually mean nothing right now. If you are talking about any game in past years, we have a new coaching staff, a better compliment to Moulds to help keep the DB's honest, and a FB who is blocking the hell out of people. If you are talking about the first game...we now have McGahee. But, as always, we shall see.
  6. I'm not ready to say that yet. However great it would be to have Ben, we don't know what Losman is going to do yet. In a year or two it might be a better scenario to have Evans and JP over just Ben.
  7. Jets: 13th against the run NE: 21st against the run As of last count, NE was down 3 DB's (One coming back this week???). This will indirectly hurt their run defense.
  8. Actually, Oakland was interested in Dillon too. They were only willing to give up a 3rd for Dillon, and Cinci wanted a second. I think if it were a younger Travis Henry who isn't known as a head case in that same situation, Oakland would have given up a second. I think there will be similar interest this year. We would have to be very lucky (find a very desperate team) to get a first round pick, but I think a second rounder is what the asking price is. I also don't think TD has to bluff anyone. If the team decides they want a second, they can either get it or keep a very good, very cheap backup RB. Another knock against Dillon is that he was very vocal about not wanting to play in Cinci, and he had a much higher salary than Travis. Cinci had to get rid of him, and I think if NE hadn't come around, Oakland would have gotten him for a 3rd sooner or later. He was also coming off an injury. Really everyone shouldn't be comparing these two guys. Very different situations.
  9. Who said "sole reason"? delusional indeed.
  10. I agree, and would like to add that we need to patient with the score. This defense has been absolutely shutting down offenses in the second half. (other than the McGee slip) It's okay to be down a bit at half time. As long as it's relatively close, don't freak out and start tossing the ball around until the 4th. Wear them down with the run and let the D do their thing.
  11. The way I figure it, if the Bills even want a CHANCE at the playoffs, they will need to be 10-6. I don't think that can happen. Even if it does, they will have to beat out teams like Bal, Indy, Houston, SD, KC, and Tenn. All teams VERY good chance at 9-7, and at least a couple will probably go 10-6. I also think we fight for one wildcard spot. Denver or SD (whichever one has the lower record) will get the first one.
  12. Are you talking about me? We can get a second. It's pointless arguing about it. We won't know till it happens.
  13. Wasn't it like 6 or 7 years ago when Washington went 7-1 and then missed the playoffs? I was living up there around that time...locals were lining up at bridges!
  14. Who said this game was going to be easy? Every post says that it will be a tough game but we think the Bills get the edge. Are you even reading the responses? You wanted serious game talk, so everyone started breaking things down, and now that isn't enough? Go away.
  15. Nope, McGahee is just better. If he needs a break, Henry comes in. Who is taking Brown's spot? Oh wait, doesn't matter... Yes And we are not the Rams.
  16. In defense of Fox, if we lost Moulds, Henry and McGahee, (In place of Smith, Davis and Foster) we would be 0-8.
  17. The Bills will prove you wrong Sunday. If you guys were 100% healthy I'd say that NE would beat us by at least 13 playing at home. The injuries to the NE DB's will kill you. Don't give me any ST. Louis crap either. That was one of the worst performances I've seen this year! I have faith in everone on this team except for one person...Drew. He played great this weekend, but he tends to go dumb when he gets to Foxboro. If he plays mistake free, we win. No way NE can stop Moulds, Evans and McGahee with all those injuries. EDIT: Oh yeah... :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
  18. I thought it was, "Now we have sometihng in c'mon"?
  19. Don't miss the game...it's Sunday night! USUALLY chokes! There was that 31-0 game. *sigh* Yes, he does.
  20. I don't. I also hope that we play them full strength. Screw that eas win crap. I have faith in our defense to stop ANYONE in the league. Pitt's defense would tear our Offense apart, and they would win the game, but I don't think we would do any worse than NE, and Philly did. I bet we could hold them to less points too. BRING IT ON!!!
  21. I think you were watching the slow-motion replay. He was only on him for about 3 or 4 seconds. Not a lot of time for someone to react. It did look a temper tantrum, didn't it? It was great. Poor Abe, couldn't get a sack.
  22. The thing on their elbows? Or the c**k ring?
  23. Damn right! Kelsay's getting better and Vincent should be back this week! I can't friggin wait for Sunday night!
  24. Hmmmm.... I'll take the doorstops.
  25. You'll have to let us know who you rooting for this week.
