I'm sure this will get lost in the hundreds of post game threads, but... Has anyone ever said that Drew NEVER has a good game? Just curious. If someone could dig up a post saying that Drew ALWAYS plays like crap and NEVER has a good game, I'd love to join in on the bashing... Thanks in advance. BTW...GREAT game Drew!

Any other year I would agree with all that, but Lewis has nagging injuries that are slowing him down. Last I heard they were planning on splitting carries this weekend. He is still dangerous, but he's not what he was last year. Also, Todd Heap has been out pretty much the whole season, and I wouldn't expect much of him when he comes back. He has a back problem, and that isn't something easy to get over when you are a big target that likes to catch the ball in traffic. Baltimore is good, but I don't think it's impossible for the Giants to win if they play smart ball.

You know what? This thread could go on and on, and in the end it all comes down to something written in the first post... 18 wins 24 losses

I was trying to figure out our best chances for making the playoff the other day, and this is what I figured for this week. BTW, In my scenario the Bills and Jets are the wild card teams with Pitt, NE, Indy and SD winning their divisions. Bills over Miami (Duh....) Yep Jets over Houston The Jets will have to fall apart for them not to make the playoffs. At least this way they knock Houston down a bit. Cincinnati over Baltimore We need Baltimore to lose a couple, and I think this is a good bet right now. Pittsburgh over Jacksonville Pitt will win their division so we need them to beat every AFC team they play. San Diego over Denver Denver could fall apart and play themselves out of a playoff spot. SD should win. New England over ClevelandSame as Pitt. NE will win their division, so they have to keep beating AFC teams. Sucks to root for the Pats, but if you really want a Bills playoff birth, it has to happen.

Sweet...Now maybe FL can get back to being a winning program. A lot of youth and talent on that team. The next few years should be fun.

How do you know where the play was designed to go? Often times a FB is used as a decoy. A D can key in a which direction/hole a FB goes to, and try to plug it up. Do you have a copy of the playbook? Just becaue there was a hole in one place does not mean that is where the play was designed to go.

That ought to be interesting. I've never seen a guy run with his head that far up his a$$.

God I hope so. I hate PItt and NE more than anything. Figures, the two te4ms in the league I hate the most are two of the best teams in teh league.

For starters, they don't HAVE to lose to the Giants, it is just another team that it would be great if they lost to. Second, yes the Giants have a chance to win that game. If Eli can put together a good game, it certainly possible. Likely, no, but I think there is a better chance of it than you may think. Baltimore's offense is horrible. Their defense keeps them in games, but that won't keep you in every game. All the Giants, or anyone else, has to do is play safe ball on offense and let their defense step up. Wouldn't be a huge upset. BTW, this has nothing to do with being a homer. I have said many times I don't think the Bills have a chance in hell for the playoffs. I may still be rooting for it to happen, but I don't expect it to.

Baltimore still has to play the Giants at home ( Yes, I think the Giants can pull that one out), Indy and Pitt. Yes, a loss at Cinci helps us out, but Baltimore has a hell of tough schedule ahead.

I only have one pet peeve....alot. Drives me nuts. TWO WORDS! A LOT. I'm done.

In all honesty...I am actually in favor of going Kicker. I know we have holes, but how many more points would we have on the board this year if we didn't have to punt from the 40?

A good war-time movie that no one mentioned is Tigerland. Not really a war movie, but it takes place in boot camp. Something different anyway.

OT - How did you all think of your names?
Bear replied to bartshan-83's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My current name is just a nickname.. I used to go by Water. I got bored one day and decided to start posting in every thread ICE did and post the exact opposite of what he said. I only did it for a few days, but I already had a few hundred posts so I decided to keep it for a while! -
Did anyone else just here the announcers gushing over...McGee????? "Every bit the corner Antonio Winfield is". Yes, they said Antonio.

Is Dilfer that bad? Why is Hasselback still in the game? He can hardly stand up! I'm all for a guy having fire and wanting to help his team, but the coaches need to do whats right for their player and get him the hell out of the game.

If that second one had been on target it would have been a TD. Evans had his man beat and the safety was on the wrong side of him. Somehow, Drew threw to that side.

They would have used the Bledsoe cutout.... But it kept falling down. Hey, everyone should have known that one was coming.

(OT) So why would you live in Buffalo?
Bear replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, I don't have any kids yet, but if I do I'm pretty sure they will grow up to be Bills fans, and there is no way in hell I ever move back upstate. -
Why do you think that? Has it happened? Has Bledsoe played very well for an entire season? Your argument holds no water. None. Yet you keep saying the same thing in thread after thread. If Bledsoe played well for an entire season, I would be all for starting him the next season. So would everyone else. It's that simple. What's even more simple is the fact that he has not done that! You are basing your opinion of what other fans would do off a few good games instead of a few good seasons. Bills fans aren't turning against Bledsoe after years of great play because he is having a couple of bad games. They...we...are turning against him after a few bad seasons and couple of good games! In my opinion, and yes it is just my opinion, those fans that want to call Bledsoe a "good" QB because he threw 3 TD last week are the ones wearing the blinders. The fact is, even if he has 5 good games in a row, we still have 3 seasons of crap to factor into the equation. When I look to next season I DO NOT want to see the guy starting that can look like a pro-bowl QB for two games, a very average QB for 9, and an undrafted rookie free agent for the other 5. I want a guy that can lead the team. And for FFS, there are very few people around here that aren't praying week in and week out that Bledsoe wins us games. You are not in the minority there. Everyone wants to win. If Bledsoe could consistently win us games..cool. The negative responses only come when people continue to spew out crap like "he gives us the best chance to win". When we are so low in the standings, what the hell is the difference between having a 30% chance of winning or a 25% with someone else?
