Man, if Miami signs him I am going to be pissed. It feels like every big name free agent/draft prospect is going to someone the bills play this year, specifically our division.
You know....this would all be cool if only it were true
-
I'm a troll ?? I grew up by Ottos & Captains Cove, went to Maryvale. I'm more of a fan than I care to admit but I'll call what's wrong / wrong and the time is right. I don't follow the sheep, unless I'm horny (of course).
Yes...your basically a troll.......
-
Everyone turned their back on him at the draft, we were first there to say we're sorry.
What exactly do we have to be sorry about
-
This would single handily save this draft class. Immediate starter at RT or G
This draft class does not need saving.....it is very solid on its own.....
It would however....add to what has been a great offseason
-
I heard they stared into each others eyes and began to weep.
and the weeping turned in a down right man bawl fest......
Kim Pegula walked in on it.......and joined in.
-
Its very simple
"Miami is offering me X"
Pegula "I will give you X plus an F5"
-
They need to pull out the heavy ammunition and bring Collins out to the Pegula yaht like they did Percy.......
Start talking about being part of a family......all that kind of crap......
I heard Pegula and Percy where hugging so much that their man cards should have been rovoked immediately
-
Not possible because of his status as a UDFA he's locked into a standard minimum contract
Yes and there has been all kinds of talk how teams are circumventing that this offseason........
-
I'm sure the Dolphins would love to stick it to the Bills here, especially after Clay.
Also, someday Rex Ryan could make an amazing college football coach. The man hits the recruiting trail like no one else.
I hated Doug Marrone. I love Rex freakin' Ryan.
This is what makes the Pegula era so great......
Players love Rex Ryan
and
El Pegula swoops in with his wallet

Deepest:
- RB
- DL
- WR
Areas Lacking Depth:
- O-Line
- TE
- LB
- S
We can look at it that way until we see how some of these draft picks pan out and free agency is done
- TE actually becomes pretty deep if OLeary pans out.......because Clay is one of the top TE's in the league...if OLeary is just a little better then Chandler this year (which lets face it....is not that much of a task) then you have some depth there. It becomes even deeper if Grey pans out.......as a matter of fact you could say what we have serious depth at is FB/HB
- If Graham moves to safety...I would say we have some depth there as well.......
-
Unless Miller looks really bad in camp there is no way Urbik starts over Miller.
-
Yet, Bortles had a worse rookie season than EJ; Carr was equal to at best (though 58% on 5.49 ypa is terrible); and Bridgewater had a slightly better rookie year than EJ.
This just in. The Bills aren't giving up on a 25 year old qb after 14 starts. Good for them.
I just wanna say I am glad that this went the way it did........
I really wanna know if EJ is or isnt a NFL QB before we move away from him.
-
Carrington was a pretty bad 3rd round pick. He and Sheppard just never blossomed the way a lot of folks hoped.
Yes because every player regardless of where they are picked should be a all pro player.....or DOOMED
Sometimes you just need players to do their jobs
-
There is going to come a time that we are going to be REALLY thankful that Whaley had the forsight to make the Darby pick
-
I honestly dont even know why I considered that the bills would even draft a QB in this draft
- They only had 6 picks
- We brought in TWO veteran QBS
- We have a QB which basically is Bryce Petty in EJ Manuel

Due to loaded roster, #Bills '15 draft has bigger implications on future. In '16, Darby in spot to be CB2. Same for Karlos as RB2/Dez as WR3
I would like to see one more quality OT....but other then that Rex has a full compliment of groceries to work with
-
Hope so but his history with Wilson and Miliner, his last two #1 draft CBS did not work out. Also the Jets saftey they drafted last year also sucked , so I am concerned.
Did he make those picks......because the situation recently with the jets was in high drama turmoil

I like this pick a lot. Steward was a five star recruit who blew out his knee his first two seasons. He worked hard to come back from two devastating injuries for a great senior year with 10 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, 7 special teams tackles, and 12 QB pressures(which led Clemson and beat out Vic Beasley). He is a great athlete with all the measurables. I think we will be pleasantly surprised by Steward.
To me this is low risk high reward type draft selection......
If he is past his injuries...your looking at a beast of a linebacker.....which will allow us to take that LB off our list of needs and concentrate somewhere else

Can we all stop with this. It's not an amazing pick (although, for the record, he was on the 5 or so players I really wanted when we came to the podium), nor is it a sexy pick, but it is a solid #50 pick, and anything but a reach. Darby was a very highly regarded CB throughout the web, not just one "obscure draft 'expert'." CBS Sports had him as the #30 prospect. Walter Football (yeah, i know) listed him as the #5 CB in the draft. Most sites I saw listed him as an early 2nd rounder, with some possibility of going in the late 20s. Fanspeak had him in the 40s.
My co-worker and draft obsessive (he's in multiple college football fantasy leagues) went to FSU and is a fanatic about them (a Fins fan unfortunately), and has hawkishly watched his every game was touting him as someone who would be a steal for the Bills at 50.
Moreover, his opponents knew him as he was the least thrown at cornerback in all of college football. He allowed only 9 receptions and no TDs in 2013. I know the TBD treehouse has a "NO CBs" sign by the door, but with all the talk here about this being a passing league, how exactly do you stop them...with excellent CB play.
I felt like the bills got what they "needed" not what the fans "wanted"
But I think when the bills win we will be more then happy with the selections. In one way or another ALL of these picks made sense and they were value where they were picked.
-
realistically, for the first week or two, it might be a valid role to be filled.
Oh no doubt
But I am sure the bills didnt do it for just that reason
- Alex Carrington is a really good scheme fit for a Ryan D.
- We needed rotational DL depth regardless of the Marcel situation
- Alex can play DE and DT
-
I agree with Kiper and anyone else critical of the Bills' draft. The only pick that makes sense is the guard in the third round. The Bills constantly try to outsmart everyone, drafting for glamour (Watkins, Spiller) and reaching when they draft for need and then indulging in luxury picks (a running back this year, really?). The character issues in this draft are very disturbing as well. I can't see the two picks with serious character issues keeping it together over the long haul. If the Pegula era is about disregarding character by signing the likes of Incognite and drafting some of the players we did, I am concerned about a sleeze factor. One Buffalo may be a tank and a football team with a significant number of low character thugs.
"I agree with everyone who hates our draft" waa waa waa
EVERY ONE of those picks made sense in one way or another....and we only had 6 of them.
- If you call Sammy a "glamour" pick then you should learn football
New posters shouldnt even be able to post until they have a post count of at least 100 posts......
(Yes I see what I did there)
-
Could just be security in case the league ends up suspending Dareus
The Troll door is too the left
-
In order to win this.....Manny had to force Mayweather to actually fight
He didnt......
-
What he does is give you an excellent rotational guy......love the signing.
