  1. Actually, none of our players are wearing duplicative numbers. Tasker was just bad. He called Dominique Stevenson "Dwight." And he made a ton of mistakes last week too. It makes it hard to watch - you just want to turn down the sound.
  2. Have you ever watched how much holding goes on during a special teams play? It's happening all over the place - sometimes the refs call it, sometimes they don't. I think the flagrant fouls like face masks are much worse. If it's holding, everyone's doing it. It's just the luck of the draw on who gets called for it. Ditto.
  3. No way is he that big. Have you seen him standing next to Campbell and Neufeld? He just doesn't seem to have the same size and mass. No way he weighs 250 lbs. I'd put money on it that he's probably more around 235/240.
  4. I totally agree. And I think one of Trafford's biggest issues is his size. I think I read somewhere that he only weighs 230 lbs. - way too small for an NFL tight end. And if he's done well at all in games, it's been against back up linebackers and such. I wonder what he looks like when he goes against Fletcher and Spikes. I could see him taking on a guy Stamer's size, but Takeo would probably break him down.
  5. Trust me, guys don't slip under the radar if they're worth anything. Every NFL team has their scouts and coaches scouring the waiver wires to see who's been cut and if anyone is worth picking up.
  6. I think Neufeld has been the #2 TE since minicamps during the offseason, and I don't think Peters ever had a chance of challenging him for that spot. If anything, Euhus, Peters and Trafford were competing for that third TE spot. I think Neufeld's snapping was bad this weekend. If the team needs a spot, at least they know there is someone else besides Dorenbos who can do the long snapping. And it wasn't his snapping that caused the blocked punt - there were only 10 guys on the field, so the guy that blocked the punt had free reign on Moorman.
  7. Nope - the roster will have to be cut down to 53.
  8. Euhus will not be cut - he's a 4th round pick and our 3rd string TE this year. He's not going anywhere. If anything, Trafford will be cut and be signed to the PS.
  9. I don't know for sure, but I think the team would have the option of signing him to the active roster before another team could pick him up. Seems like it would make sense since the team has a vested interest in the player. Not sure though.
  10. Good point LaBatt. I'm thinking they might sign Trafford to the PS next week - I don't think he'll make the final cut but he had a great camp and still has PS eligibility.
  11. I agree with you there. Usually a later bye week is great for the players to nurse their injuries, but it seems like we need the bye earlier this year because so many players are banged up and could probably use the break sooner rather than later!

  13. Give credit where credit is due - this is not your post. You copied it from my post over on the BB message boards. I guess you liked it since you copied it. Just give me a little shout out or something when plagiarizing my work!
  14. Actually, he broke the rules and is now dealing with the consequences. He could avoided this situation altogether by declaring himself eligible for the draft but not hiring the agent. Hiring the agent is what got him in trouble. He could have hired someone to negotiate for him after the draft. I think this is a good thing - so often college and pro-athletes are able to navigate around rules and laws better than the average person without having to deal with the consequences of their actions. Now Williams and Clarett are having to do just that. I think this is a good thing. I feel bad for him because Williams was obviously getting some bad advice from someone, but oh well.
