That's my point - the hardly used two TE sets at all this weekend. I think it was seriously only about 7 or 8 plays. That's not that many at all. I actually think they should be using more!

It's so interesting that you call Neufeld out. He was in what, like 8 offensive plays yesterday? And I think four of those were passing plays, so he wasn't blocking anyway. Blame the starters like Campbell and the rest of the O-line, not the back up guy who's only in a couple plays a game.

Were we watching the same game? Neufeld did really well - didn't see him whiff any blocks. He even got open on a couple pass routes. He's such a better blocker than Euhus.

Actually, what Kanye West was referring to is two AP photos - one of a black woman says she was looting and one of two white people said they were finding groceries. There's a big difference between finding and looting, and it shows, once again, that we still have racial disparities in this country. Kanye West did the right thing last night. Um, most of them are probably fighting Bush's war in Iraq. Because this is a national disaster, thus, the feds are primarily responsible for acting on it. I can't seem to find any news link about that kid who took a knee to the head last night during the Rams/Lions game. Has anyone heard or read anything about him today?

I could be wrong, but by putting the two players on the PUP list, doesn't that mean they can't be activated until after the 10th game of the season?

FYI - Rod Trafford is no longer eligible for the PS. Brad Cieslak is however. So I'd flip their fates.

I think one thing that contributed to our lack of a running game tonight was Mularkey's failure to use two TE sets. And I'm sorry, putting Peters in there just isn't the same thing IMO. I know Euhus is hurt and all, but Neufeld is a capable back up who most certainly would have helped with his blocking skills. I just thought that was interesting.

Interestingly enough, I think the refs were making some bad calls. There was the penalty on kick off that shouldn't have been one, and the holding call on Neufeld was questionable.

I think Woodbury makes the practice squad and that Shane Matthews is the #3 QB. I think we only keep 6 receivers - Josh Reed will be in that mix somewhere. I definitely think Aiken may squeeze out Haddad because he contributes a lot on special teams. Which is too bad, because Haddad is having a really good camp. I think Goldsberry may make the squad as the back up FB - he's supposed to be really good on special teams.

Yes - but it's a negligible amount. I think it states in the PA's rules how much they make per week during training camp, but it's under $1k and after taxes, it's about half of that.

Don't count out Neufeld - he looked good during the scrimmage as well. I definitely think we're good at TE. I think Cieslak proved himself worthy of a PS spot, but Trafford is probably the odd man out once again.

Let me 'splain something to you about NFL football. It doesn't matter who the better player is. Posey has job security because the Bills have a lot of money invested in him. Stamer was a free agent who the Bills have much less invested in which makes him expendable. Like the rest of the players who aren't getting paid like the starters, Stamer is still fighting for a roster spot despite the fact that he appears to be the better player. Ah, the politics of football...

No - absolutely not. Why sign a player you need to motivate to play? That doesn't make any sense. A first round pick who struggles to find his place on a team isn't worth the drama IMO.

I thought Miss Puerto Rico had it locked up. But Miss Canada was very pretty.

The team can't make OTAs mandatory - doing so would violate the CBA. But there is an expectation that players participate. I think it's unfortunate that all the guys don't participate.

No way Neufeld gets cut now that Everett is out for the year, and Peters isn't playing HB.
