  1. Cook definitely makes people miss in tight amongst the giant guys... his little jump cuts in there, then he bolts. It's great stuff. I'm telling ya, Ray is going to get 10 touches vs the Patriots. Brady has already said this week that Cook is being over-used. I'm rooting for Davis but if he can't get a couple chunk runs in there I would be making Ty the primary backup and start thinking about Gore Jr. The only issue with him is that Frank fumbled in a preseason game and McDermott will not let that slide. He won't trust Gore for a while.
  2. Davis has been a massive disappointment, he's just done nothing when given some carries. The Bills have an excellent Oline. It may not be perfect but it's about as good as you can assemble nowadays. All the RB's should be successful behind this Oline and Ty needs to not drop the easy passes we know he can catch.
  3. One of the worst calls on a huge 4th and 1 by McVay. I told my son in the moment, don’t hand off, it’s a bunch of beefy guys clogging it up and it will be a giant dogpile for no gain. Sure enough, that’s what you get. Don’t take the ball out of your best players hands (Stafford). and that’s what he did.
  4. The Rams need to start throwing the ball, especially on first down. screw the running game
  5. I wonder if the Rams won the coin toss and deferred? if so, they have to regret that. Like 25 plays to 5 and 14-0.
  6. Based on Shanahans comments you get the feeling they didn’t mind starting Mac Jones. Hes showing ok there. Looks good
  7. Joe Brady already said in his press conference this week, they are over using Cook and under using the other RBs. He said it’s mostly about playing the hot hand but he has to do a better job of getting the other RBs going. So i think vs New England we will see more of Davis and Ty in there.
  8. Yeah i didn’t see that game. Thats why i said supposedly, because some NFL experts on TV were talking about it. Could have been game situation, i dont know? Maybe Carolina broke off a few chunk runs when the game was in full control and NE was protecting against the bomb.
  9. Supposedly no one can run effectively against the NE defensive front. We shall see. buffalo’s offensive line is a huge strength and they better come to play and win this battle in the trenches.
  10. Only Shakir gives us something extra. That ability to get loose and breakaway and he’s done it on several occasions. The rest of our passing game seems oriented towards the Tight Ends and running backs. Maybe they should bring that little dude back, KJ Hamler. He had some jets and ability to separate. that appears to be lacking now.
  11. Vrabel scares me. Always has, always will. Ugh just flipping around and ESPN2 is airing the Bills at KC AFC Championship game from last January. So frustrating listening to the players mic’d up.
  12. A lot of people have already used the Bills, Eagles, Lions, Chiefs, etc.. in survivor so I'll give you some winners from the other group of teams.. if you need one of these. Vikings Colts Saints Seahawks Chargers
  13. Must be nice for the Texans and Rams to go into Baltimore's stadium and not have to play Lamar. What a gift for them.
  14. They're 4-0 and in good shape, I'd be surprised if they fire Babich or anyone really, unless something extraordinary happens like NE racking up 450 yards of offense. F
  15. That's a good point. It's been noticeable that Josh is planted in the pocket on many passing plays and getting the ball out. Several times on 3rd and 7+ he's dumped it off well short of the sticks as the pocket was breaking down. Allen's best passing plays are when he leaves the pocket and throws on the run. Of course that exposes him to injury and I'm sure the Bills are instructing him to play it safe for now, then in playoffs he can do what he does.
  16. Those are gonna pop at night. I saw a ton of those jerseys at the stadium on Sunday. Bills fans love buying new merch.
  17. I don't feel sorry for them. The organization and the Ravens fans can curl up at night with their Lombardi trophies and lament their injury issues. I feel sorry for the Bills and our fans. Maybe one of the most dominant teams statistically for several years running and we don't even have a SB appearance to show for it, let alone trophies.
  18. This will probably be a close game for much of it. The Bills right now are intentionally holding some things back offensively. They don't want Allen running around and risking himself unless it's absolutely a second half emergency to get the W or close the game out. I can see the Pats trying to play like Miami did. Run the ball, control the clock and keep the Bills O off the field...., use the dump off passing game to convert short 3rd downs. Maye will use his legs a bit. When the Bills rarely beat Brady/Belichek all those years we would go in there and give NE a tough game, I expect the same.
  19. I agree with Sauce. I felt that way during the drought seasons when Buffalo played, especially against the good teams.
  20. Cincinnati has become unwatchable. Browning really regressed since his last stint backing up Burrow during an injury.
  21. What happened to Browning? he was such a good backup QB last time Burrow was injured. I guess the league caught up to him
  22. My main thoughts are that we don’t have any game breaking WR beyond Shakir. Was hoping Palmer and Keon would step up but being at the game they were quite blanketed. The best receivers are tight ends and Cook. Also, Ray Davis is not special in any way and Ty has regressed. Need to see much more from them.
  23. The new kickoff rules are working and there's a real strategy to it. The Rams kickoff strategy vs Philadelphia last weekend has been making the rounds. They kicked knuckleballs to the Eagles returners which totally messed them up. Based on these stats through 3 games, the Bills have something that they can definitely improve upon.
  24. It's a copycat league... in all areas.
  25. Yep. people have short memories. The Saints had the ball on their final possessions with a chance to beat Arizona and SF. Those aren't horrible teams. The Seattle game got away because of 1st quarter special teams plays (punt return TD and blocked punt to set up another TD). Obviously those are one off plays that might happen once a seasons. This spread should be no more than the Miami game, maybe 10.5. It's just that oddsmakers view the Bills in such high esteem they can't get even money on both sides unless it's artificially high.
