  1. There are a lot pressing needs, with the first two being running back and middle linebacker. I think when its said and done, we have to get a middle linebacker before we get a running back.
  2. I think we all understand that the wide receiver position will probably be addressed in the mid to late rounds, especially if we can find one that Marv likes. At this point I'm not sure why we wouldn't draft a running back and at least 3 defensive players, preferably 2 in the first three rounds.
  3. Okoye or Willis. I think Okoye will be gone when we select.
  4. I think he could be wrong. In the end we'll go with a defensive player.
  5. While I agree with your first pick and I think anyone that has been suggested on TBD has a case, I don't agree with your second round pick. If we can, I think I would go with Kenny Irons instead.
  6. It's optimistic, but realistic? It's possible but a lot has to happen. Our offensive line obvviously needs to demonstrate consistently that they can do their job throughout the game. As we know last year, I thought we had more problems getting the first down on third and short than almost any team in the NFL. Hopefully that will change because our defense took a step back because of the loss in the middle of the defense with London Fletcher. This is why I am leaning towards Wills or Paul P. in the draft.
  7. Although Crowell might have a game of experience at middle linebacker, I am not sure how we are going to pass up Patrick Willis or Paul P. in the draft considering our needs. A talk on TBD of a trade down in the draft is a good possibility.
  8. At left guard I thought he did a decent job. For the coaching staff to recognize that he could not do the job at left tackle was a credit to the coaching staff during the bye week. If he was brought back here for a backup guard role I think that could work.
  9. I think as of right now we are in the lower third. We could move up to the middle if we draft defensive players with our first two picks. This changes obviously if McGahee gets traded. As we know Okoye has the most potential, Willis is the safest and as of now our biggest need and Lynch is the wildcard.
  10. If McGahee stays I like your picks but the third rounder Tony Hunt I don't like. I saw a lot of his games last year and I was not impressed.
  11. Agreed. What is the problem? So what that we signed Tim Anderson to a one year deal? So he'll play a back up role. It's almost as people can't believe we resigned someone who hasn't played that well in his career. Marv and the organization are giving him another chance and I think if he keeps working hard there's no reason that he can't make a little contribution in a backup role and special teams. Until this team goes out on the field we can't criticize anything as of yet. Marv and the organization will figure it out.
  12. That would be something to get a first rounder for him. I would trade a second rounder for him but not anything in the third round or later. Either way, if the Bills can get the first rounder for a pretty good running back go for it.
  13. The only way we get him is if we trade up. I am all for it if Willis gets traded.
  14. That list looks pretty accurate as long as its not in that order. London is probably the best free agent middle linebacker that is out on the market but Lance Brigga is the best overall linebacker. There are some good defensive ends that are going to be free agents. I would imagine that half of those names are going to stay with their present team.
  15. Suprise, Suprise, Adam Vineiteri kicks a last second field goal to win it for the Colts. Colts 23 Bears 20
  16. JP is not a pro bowl quarterback... yet. He is improving, but not a chance of being in the pro bowl, at least this year. If Peyton Manning doesn't play in the pro bowl, McNair would be the choice to go next.
  17. This is the post I like the best. Absoultely agree. If this is the way it went down, I would be all for it. Defintely like our first round pick.
  18. So he's the reason why we are 38-58? I agree that we need a changes but not at this position. If we want our secondary to be strong for years to come then having Nate on the team will help. A solid corner is hard to find and Clements is the guy to resign.
  19. Absolutely agree. Bruce Smith and Reggie White are arguably the two best defensive ends in their prime in NFL history. I would still rather have Bruce Smith. His disruption on almost every play was outstanding and I have not seen that out of any defensive end in the league since he left Buffalo.
  20. That's not the way you deal with business. There is a right way of doing things and the wrong way. I think this idea is the wrong one. I think the best solution would be to resign Clements for a hefty contract and keep him a Buffalo Bill for many more years.
  21. Good Post. The first round pick could be better. The linebacker from Penn State is the best linebacker coming out of college this year, Paul P.. If we were to draft a linebacker I would choose him over anyone. He could end being an Urlacher type of player. I am hoping that for some reason we trade up to get Joe Thomas but I know that's not going to happen. Okoye has the potential to be very good especially at his age, however, if we think that McCargo is going to be just as good this changes. If we don't resign Nate, a corner in round one or two would be the choice. Overall I would pick Paul P. from Penn State if we resign London Fletcher.
  22. This is a no brainer. Why would we sign Steinbach if we had the money to pay for Clements? Defense wins.
  23. Brad Cieslak is starting at fullback this weekend. Look for him to open up some big holes in the running game for McGahee and Thomas.
  24. Good question that's for sure. It will still exceed expectations, however, if we look bad the final two games and especially this game coming up at home then that is going to leave some bad feelings heading into the offseason.
