  1. He is 5' f_ckin 9" and weighs only 170 pounds. He would get killed in flag football. Donahue is a fool. No need for this pick, and nice job with Henry as well.
  2. I just dont understand why this is so hard for Donahue to figure out. This is what should be happening: First off, Bills need to get Kareem McKenzie, tackle from the Jets to visit and sign the man. He is three yr starter and only 25, can play RT and move Mike Williams to LT. The dude is a 4th pick and making the most money on this team, about time he steps up, otherwise, they need to restructure his contract. It's a damn shame he is getting paid so much to play RT. Then Bills need to sign Fred Smoot, CB from the Skins. I like McGee alot but his coverage skills are sometime not great. I think he'll excel as nickleback. Back to Smoot, I feel in case we can't get Clements resigned, Smoot can play and take over as #1. Similar to Clements, he's a ball hawk and will make plays. Then Bills need to sign Marcus Bell, DT from the Lions to replace Pat Williams. He is a run stuffer with big body, will come cheap, nothing flashy but a good compliment to Sam Adams. Then the Bills need to get another wide receiver, someone like David Terrell. With the Bills having one of the better receiver coaches, he can revive this guy's career. As a former #1 round pick, he's big and will make plays. Probably won't be expensive since everyone thinks he's a bust, will compete with Josh Reed for #3. Finally, the Bills need to address the kicker position, either through the draft with Nugent from Ohio State or get someone like Jeff Reed from Pitt or Mike Vanderjagt from Indi. Lindell sucks!!! Any thoughts.
  3. Brad Johnson wouldn't fit. Need a backup with mobility, similar to Losman. Someone like Kordell Stewart, Charlie Batch or that dude from Detroit - Mike M....
  4. I think it's time to depart from the Bledsoe and let the JP era beging. Good decision. As for a backup, someone made a great point, any player thinking about retirement is retired. I wouldn't mind Matthews as a thrid stringer for tutoring and knowledge of the game for JP, but for playing in games when JP (hopefully not) gets injured, he is not the answer. The Bills need a backup capable of playing in important games and not someone out of their prime. I like Brien Griese, the dude can play and won some games last year for the Bucs. He should be released or is UFA. Not sure but he should be willing to come in as backup as he did for Tampa behind Brad Johnson. Another possibility is Mike McMahon, I think he is a UFA and the Lions are looking for a backup to challenge Joey Harrington. Any thoughts.
  5. Can anybody provide a link that plays the segment with Owens and that chick from Desperate Housewifes - I want to see it. Thanks.
  6. Let's face it, the season is over. In order to make the play-offs, the Bills need to win pretty much every game inluding road games which they tend to lose. I read an article in the Rotchester paper online which makes a good point, JP needs to get in there and play. He needs to be ready for next season. Carson Palmer sat the bench all season last year, and due to this, played poorly in the beginning of this season. The Bills cannot make the same mistake with JP; he can't play any worse than Bledsoe and he'll get the needed experience to carry it over for next season. The Giants, a play-off team, are starting Manning. It makes sense, he (as well of JP) are the future. Let's start now. Mike Mularky is Donahue's puppet, hence he was hired. It's a simple fact that Tom won't admit to his mistake that Bledsoe was washed up and 1st round pick was wasted. I have to admit, I was very excited when I first heard that Drew was coming to Buffalo, and he played pretty well in his first season. The departure of Peerless hurt big time. Both him and Eric Moulds had career years. It's time to start over. Get JP in there, get Lee Evans more involved. Both are first round picks. Look at some other first round pick receivers tearing it up - Roy Williams and Michael Clayton. There is no reason why Evan can't put up those kind of numbers as well. Yeah, the offensive line issue. It's sad when the Bills have a forth pick at right tackle and a third round pick at left tackle while the Patriots have a line comprised of late rounders, yet Brady has all the time in the world to throw the ball. It's unreal. It comes down to this - the coaching staff sucks, Tom Donahue sucks in evaluating talent as well. I hate the Patriots but their coach places more worth on smarts, desire and willingness to play rather than talent. I agree. You can teach skills but you cannot teach work ethic or character. The Bills are a team with some talent and that's pretty much it. This is what needs to be done - start JP, let go of Bledsoe at end of year - maybe even trade with Henry if some team bites, fire Tom Donahue and start fresh.
  7. I feel the following would be good backups (if they are cut on Tuesday). The Bills need to get somebody no later than this week so they can learn the playbook, etc. 1. Tim Couch - Former 1st round pick, hasn't played well in Green Bay so could be cut on Tuesday. Sam Wyche may be able to revive his career. He has telent. 2. Akili Smith - Another 1st rounder who has had a terrible career. Again, Sam could change it around. Has arm strength and mobile, a plus when behind the Bill's offensive line. 3. Chad Hutchinson - Has started in Dallas and played pretty well. Experience in Europe also a plus, let go by the Cowboys due to too many QB's there. 4. Jamie Martin - Has played fairly well as a backup in St. Louis. Not a great choice but would be cheap. 5. Steve Matthews - Has started for Chicago and Washington. Experience but nothing special. The following should not be signed - awful choices. Neil O'Donnell - Another stature and too old. Chris Redman - No arm strength and bad shoulder. What does everyone think?
