  1. someone call comedy central..... this guy needs his own show
  2. Just put them aside for 5-6 years and they'll be "retro-cool" then, just like my RJ is now. Wait...
  3. He's not even the best #21 on his own team. http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/133350
  4. Keep in mind they will also be wearing white helmets. I don't want to hear any Charger new uniform talk unless it involves them going to the powder blue throwbacks full time.
  5. Agreed 100%. This is a massively underrated bad Bills moment. I no longer hate certain teams like the Redskins for badly beating Buffalo in the '80s/'90s (well, as much), but I still loathe Jacksonville. Another one that hasn't been mentioned is the Week 16 game against the Colts in 1988. If they win that game, they get home-field for the playoffs and who knows what happens in the Cincy game in the AFC Championship. Gary Hogeboom? Come on. He was the '88 equivalent of 2005's Sage Rosenfels.
  6. Nice analysis. You're right on. If you're looking for intelligent sports-radio banter, the last place to look is GR on afternoon drive-time. I'd rather sip down a bleach and syphilis milkshake than listen to those brain-dead troglodytes. I've heard a lot of terrible sports-radio over the years, but "Bulldog" might be the most useless co-host I've ever heard. Plus, his idiotic laugh is worse than nails down a chalkboard.
  7. Yeah, just like last year against the Bills, when 'Dre caught 3 balls for 18 yards. Mark Breuner was the Texans' leading receiver that week. Ouch.
  8. I really hope he plays. I couldn't stand to lose to Sage Rosenfels two years in a row.
  9. You must be talking about Tecmo SUPER Bowl, not the original TB, as the Bills weren't in that game. Also, thanks to his NFLPA snafu, there was no Jim Kelly--it was QB Bills, just like QB Eagles in place of Cunningham, etc.
  10. Thanks for the link. For some reason, I wasn't able to get the wedg or the other usual online sources to work today.
  11. Hey! Are we being called out? Or are they talking about that "other" board? Wait, the Bills did well with their rushing attack last season? Great move, BTW, even though he doesn't sound like a Levy guy at all. Oh well.
  12. No one is talking about the huge Knicks-Rockets game.
  13. Sure it does. Not always, of course, but what series of games are always competitive? 49ers-Bengals, Rams-Titans, and Pats-Panthers were all classics. The most overhyped, overrated sports production is still the Summer Olympics.
  14. Do it! Similar sets are sold on ebay for baseball jerseys. I've always wanted to turn my Peerless into a Brad Lamb.
  15. Even more accurately, how about "Josh Reed = Bucky Brooks"? Both were second-rounders, too.
  16. Come on people, it's ODOMES. The man was a legend. At least spell his name right. My favorite moment was that long TD run by Tim Tindale in the '95 Dolphins playoff game. Nothing like seeing the final nail in the coffin provided by a white Canadian backup-backup running back.
  17. I like when HARDCORE PATS ROCK 4LIFE WOOOO fans can't name a single player from the Dick MacPherson era. Or who Dick MacPherson was.
  18. If the Bills moved, I would definitely not follow them to Mexico City (that's what ends up happening in my Madden franchise sims some of the time). I would have more time and money to spend on the Blizzard and Destroyers, however.
  19. I would go with Taylor or Barlow. Yes, they're a little banged up, but when healthy, they will rack up the points. Who knows if Rudi or Chris Brown can last a full year as the starter? Dillon will be a good player for the Pats, but won't be a number one fantasy starter, as their offense is way too balanced.
  20. Keep the top 3 RBs. QB is an incredibly deep position this year and the only WRs worth keeping in your scenario would be Moss, Harrison or Owens. I've been in two keeper league drafts this year and good players like Trent Green and Brad Johnson have slipped to the 10th round and below. You can never, ever have enough RBs, especially when you have three of the elite. Worst case scenario, you trade one for a premier WR.
