  1. Agreed. But there is a difference between someone who makes the right reads and progresses by making less mistakes or someone who just needs to be trained out of having happy feet vs someone who consistently misses wide open receivers and refuses to throw with anticipation, which means he has poor timing and doesn't trust his receivers.
  2. Romo is a pipe dream that, even should we get him, would get injured on his first drive but is the ONLY option that is better than or equal to Tyrod. Everything else is a half measure.
  3. All Florio does is stir things up. His website is as much gossip and opinion as it is news now.
  4. Can't bring myself to read it, there's nothing "powerful" about TBN's coverage. Might as well be labelled Carucci's Outsider Speculation.
  5. TBN coverage of the Bills is truly irrelevant. They are a local paper who NEVER break news. In essence, their Bills "coverage" is comprised solely of speculation and opinion. I value 100% of the discussions on this board more than I value any of TBN's "reporting." The only actual thoughtful writing about the Bills is being done by blogs. If you want news you follow the AP and national guys on twitter. TBN football coverage is as irrelevant as the moribund profession of newspaper journalist.
  6. I like Tyrod as a person, he seems like a solid guy and I appreciate the commitment he has shown to this team throughout a time when the team has shown no commitment to him. That said, I'm fine whether he stays or goes, he's not a gamechanger at this point in his career.
  7. COME ON. Can we PLEASE stop with this miserly "this guy is the same but cheaper" argument, it's ridiculous and it's a terrible terrible option. One guy has been playing with the same Oline and skills players for two seasons. It's ridiculous to believe that, all things being even, familiarity with the players around you isn't a huge leg up on someone else of "similar" talent. The "bring in a mid-level bridge guy" argument is pure hokum and it's the type of thinking that has had this franchised mired in the suck zone for almost two decades. You either upgrade the position with Romo (which will not happen), you keep Tyrod, or you clear the board and start Cardale or a rookie.
  8. Thank you for that update. Good to have an idea of when we'll hear from them
  9. This is what is actually looked like when they did it in NFL Europe
  10. You can literally say something as innocuous as "F Trump" and get that BS charge lobbed at you.
  11. If you think you're close absent a QB you bite the bullet and sign the glass-framed QB who has played at an elite level and not the middling never-was.
  12. Yeah my point wasn't about Kelly, it was that it was a poor logistical move by a billion dollar company. If you know you're updating/clarifying procedure it's probably a good idea to make sure the procedure is clarified/implemented before the invites get sent out, just looks disorganized.
  13. If the point is to tank you do what the Browns did last year - get rid of anyone with any kind of cap hit and stock up on picks. Until we start trading starters for picks it's safe to assume they consider this team a reload and not a full rebuild.
  14. Agreed. Would have been better practice to send out the invites after the memo if its something they had already been considering though, it's a bad look.
  15. In that case, this is what the walkout from the opponent's locker room would look like - game over
  16. Saw the video. His brother got hit late and then the fight broke out literally on top of him. Fair to assume he was pissed over the late hit and worried his brother was involved in the fight.
  17. Funny how with the exception of Peters, our "prized" free agents all leave and fade into obscurity.
  18. First Anderson, then Humber. This confirms it, Overdorff is looking at player contracts in alphabetical order. Should get around to paying attention to Tyrod in about July, when he will be shocked to learn we've triggered his option.
  19. Jason Peters is about to get cut...
  20. I think it's easier for the Broncos to fix their O-line through the draft than it is for the Bills to entice an aging QB with the oft-injured Watkins and a slew of rookies. That's just my opinion though.
  21. Bills have no WRs. Not sure this is a very attractive spot for him
  22. I'm aware. Led ST in tackles last year and started one game at LB. It's a solid signing
  23. You really don't have a consistent winner til you get a QB. You should draft one every couple of years until you find one.
