  1. teague was average at best... Over dozens and dozens of games, I had seen enough of him getting bullrushed (Which everyone here seems to agree). In addition, which nobody has mentioned, he was terrible blocking in the open field. He whiffed on so many blocking assignments while pulling, or screening for Willis. Preston will be just fine in my opinion for 20% of the cost. We need to sign a strong athletic guard who can pull. We have no pulling ability with our current line. Anderson, and Villarial were too slow, hence why we used teague, but be was below average while pulling.
  2. I think we have our next starting FS on the roster in Rahard Baker. My opinion anyways.
  3. Wire WILL be here, his cap hit is minute relative to what he can contribute on Special teams and depth. Give the kid some juice, and he can easily put on 20-30 lbs.
  4. If a wide receiver gets too thick, they slow down, ALA Moulds David Boston etc. The Speed guys like Harrison, S. SMith, S. Moss, L. Evans will be productive, and hard to cover. WIth the New NFL rules on DB's being able to chuck only to 5yards, that minimizes the importance for strength and size as a WR
  5. Great post, I love facts...
  6. How about the 2nd half of the Chiefs game, or the home opener vs the texans? I was thoroughly impressed and thought he showed a glimps of what we can see on a regular basis. I'm gonna stick up for the guy, because he had his menatl balls chopped off by Mularkey. For anyone whoever played competitive sports, physical talent is only half of the recipe for success, the rest is confidence and positive thinking. In HS, I went from batting .650 to batting .89 due to how my coach made me feel from putting me on the bench.
  7. Nate will be a bill for another 5 years. Just my prediction, there is no way he walks, Unless there is an offer too good to refuse.
  8. peerless had the most overrated passing QB in the league looking for him named Michael Vick. Then he had a retinal problem.
  9. I am kind of amazed when i hear that peopel don't feel Lee EVans can step up and be the #1 receiver. I have seen nothing but solid play from him week in and week out. there's rarely a game where he has multiple drops. i remember the Denver game as being 1 of them this year. Otherwise, the guy has hands of glue, and the top end speed of a dragster. I personally belive Lee is the future #1 of this team, and could be right now. In this previous year, I really feel we had a 1a and 1b receiver on the field. In the O sets where we would have one receiver, lee would often be out there. Moulds is a solid character, rough em up type of receiver, but is not a deep threat anymore with his speed. Moulds is worth having on the roster, he can oinly make the team better. I believe in talent and production, not in someones age. Here's for a solid wide receiving core in Evans, Moulds, Reed, and Parrish next yr. Evans is a stud in the making.
  10. I myself knew this. When they let WInfield walk away to free agency, I knew they did that with the intention they were saving their corner money for clements when his contract was up. Otherwise they would have locked up winfield. A team doesnt let 2 above average 1st round corners walk away from the team.
  11. They thought that about Steve Smith and Santana Moss too...
  12. Basically... Jauron has been focused on completing his staff, and that you need to win games with big plays, however the other team needs to fear the run. Marv went out ona limb and divulged they are really trying to keep nate clements, Jauron- the importance of have 3 or 4 starong corners in todays NFL. Levy-stressed having high chracter guys on the team, and that modrak is holding the reigns duringt he draft. order of priority, D-lin, Oline, QB.
  13. I like this addition...the guy brings gameday experience, and has not only been coached out the wazoo, but has put the coaching techniques to work on the field. i'll take experience any day over a "name".
  14. 6years 14mill
  15. U Must have forgotten the bad snap during punt formation, that he picked up and ran for like 40 yards down the sideline. Guys a speedster, surprised that mularkeys bag of tricks never utilized him more.
  16. 1) Red Hot Chili Peppers "Give it away give it away now" 2) "Shoddy" 3) Any state in America does anything better 4) Ben Watson 5) Dwayne Wade
  17. This is correct
  18. LOL, excellent point...
  19. Being that the draft no matter how good of a crew of talent evaluators you have, still comes down to a crap shoot. i would rather have extra picks with a chance to make mistakes, or rather, find the best players by dumb luck. In our recent history, our best draft to date of teh TD era, was one in which we traded down. We picked up clements, schobel, and henry. those in which we traded up, have been relatively weak so far, ryan denney, and JP. I like having an extra roll of the dice in my arsenal, rather than the 1st turn to roll.
  20. Tax cuts inject more money into the economy to be spent and taxed. The government makes money on the circulation of money, not taxes. Person A gets a tax cut of say $1,000 He then takes that $1,000 and buys an HDTV and direct TV system to watch his Bills games in HD. So He pays sales tax on the purchase, best buy pays income tax on the 300$ profit they make, Samsung has to produce an extra TV which then needs to be delivered. So income taxes from truck drivers income, taxes paid on the fuel to get it there, the best buy guy who sold it gets taxed on any commissions he made etc etc... So the circulation of money in the economy creates wealth for all, including the government.
  21. LOL... You could be right. Heres to hoping marv makes the right calls, and finds the right ingredients for the best tasting cake.
  22. This is difficult for me as i feel the realistic probabilities point towards an 8-8 season. If I had to bet, I'd take the under.
  23. All i have ever heard him say is "ya knowe"
  24. Ouch... Remember, if you bet online, you can always run tot he bank tomorrow morning and close your acct before they snag the money out. They have no legal way to come after you due to all the sites are offshore gaming sites. If you got a bookie, good luck.
