  1. agreed... he was more sure handed than our 10mill/yr "superstar"
  2. Notice all of our players are getting short contracts, andre davis, josh reed 1 yr each, matt bowen 2 years...
  3. according to NFL network streaming news on bottom of channel.
  4. Maybe we can use EM as a decoy to open up Lee EVans for 3TD's in a half like we did in Miami?
  5. Hey Tommy Maddox and his reserve team kept us out of the playoffs when we were "hot" in 2004
  6. If Holcomb, Losman, Drew Bledsoe, Shane Matthews, and Alex Van Pelt were good enough to be on the Bills, Vince Young is good enough to be on the Bills. I would love to have an athletic specimen under center. Guy can win games, I don't care whether its orthodox or unorthodox, guy can win under pressure. USC was heavy favorite, Texas behind in the 4th quarter, who wins? Vince Young wins. I'll take young over Huff, Ngata, justice etc...
  7. Not looking at technique, but looking at pure results... Every guy he hit went straight down with ease.
  8. actually we have a #2/#3 WR, a #1 DT, and our new #1 TE... our DT will be addressed throughh rd. 1 of the draft
  9. I recall him getting some pentetration/QB pressure quite often in the Denver game. he stood out more than Anderson did.
  10. I think adding one solid player like a Jon Runyan greatly increases our O-lines talent level. our line could go like this... J Peters LT M Gandy LG D Preston C C Villarial RG Jon Runyan RT
  11. I think most bills fans realize holcomb is NOT the answer.
  12. ALl for it.... 2 thumbs up! Let the guy make plays, and talk to the media.
  13. Free-agent nose tackle Ryan Pickett flew out of Green Bay on Monday afternoon knowing how much the Packers want him but without signing a contract. Pickett was headed for Buffalo and a meeting with the Bills, whose new defensive line coach, Bill Kollar, served as Pickett's position coach throughout his five-year career in St. Louis. The Rams reportedly have a strong offer on the table for Pickett. -- Milwaukee Journal Sentinel SOund slike good news to me... Would love to have pickett and tripplett on the team together. We may actually see pressure on the Qb from a D-lineman besides schobel.
  14. Well... I dont consider bust, moreso that he was cut due to his cap figure. Had Mike Williams been taken outside of the top 10 in the draft, and had a more friendly cap number, he would still be on this team. Donahoe wont quote that because he was the one who agreed to a crazy contract for a rookie RT, and it cam eback to bite him in the arse.
  15. It's one thing to watch a game, its another to analyze a players play in a game. Not saying VABills is an expert or has an eye for it, but those who have the luxury of reviewing game tape get to see 95% of what we all miss during live play.
  16. As much as I like JP, I would love to have Vincesanity drop to us, or the brick.
  17. Unless of course it is inVINCEable Young at QB... =)
  18. Point out a game where he had a bad game, and I'll believe you. I was at every home game and used to watch the line closely. (As close as possible live) I never remember him standing out liek a sore thumb. i remember Teague being beat big, and Mike Williams would be ebat outside occasionally.
  19. Ah yes, the diamond in the rough...been a few yrs since i've been to that place.
  20. Crazy... such a what have you done for me lately... I'd take it for a 3rd or 4th... Consider our 3rd and 4th rounders. Coy Wire, Kevin Everett, Sam Aiken, Angelo Crowell... Orrrr Daunte Culpepper... Seems pretty simple to me. I want to have as much competition at the QB position as possible. Now I am unsure of what injury he had or how serious it is... but, Culpepper at his old form make or Qb pos. better.
  21. Think he's from schenectady? Or that may have been anthony weaver. Definitely an Albany area guy.
  22. His cap hit this year is probably in the 1.2mill-1.5mill range.
  23. What this says to me is that 1 of the 2 TE's (Euhus&Everett) rehabbing their knee injuries is not going as well as planned.
  24. Royal can still catch... I like the mixup of TE's. Both Euhus and Everett are pass-catching tightends, Royal is more of a runblocker, but can still catch. http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/302118 6'4" 260lbs
