Stallworth was trash in NO... Made medicore in philly(on par with Josh Reed's best season), heck Peerless price has a better track record than stallworth. Overpaid for welker (IMO) (should have kept troy brown for cheap...same type WR)
To put a positive spin on all of this, they just invested a lot of money in a LB on the wrong side of 30, and 2 receivers who i think are worse than our #1 receiver. I'm not worried. I have a feeling we may have the best O-line in the afc east come regular season time.
As much as i dislike when one of my favorite ex Bills trashes the Bills, his words ring the bell of truth. At the end of the year even Jauron and Levy were quoted as saying O line needs major improvement. They had to keep Royal in to block, and keep in mind they switched the entire starting O-line halfway through the season. We just spent BIG money on the O-line in the 1st days of free agency. I wonder why?
NO(2 1st rd RB's), NE (2 1st rd RB's), INDY (1 1st rd RB and an undrafted FA), Bears (2 1st rd RB's)... not to infamous if you ask me, all "top tier" guys
2nd half of the year, once our Offense was opened, up we began to resemble stSt. louis of old. 3 wide, single back.... Our offense will be top 15 with or without Willis.
You sure about that? Last i recalled, the minorities owned all the businesses, and tee minorities held all the high proile jobs such as lawye, doctor etc... Do any white people own gas stations or dunkin doughnuts?
Guaranteed is exactly that, guaranteed, whether the cuy is cut, breaks his neck or never plays a down, he is entiteled tot hat money, so essentially its a signing bonus prorated over the course of the contract cap wise.
We gave dockery 18.5 mill guranteed, whereas steinbach only got 18... I think so far, we have bee THE biggest players in free agency (signing bonus wise). Essentially we traded Nate for two OL. nate 80 million, dockery 49 mill, walker 25 mill
The cap is about 30% higher than last year... so, all contracts will be about 30% inflated... besides why do you care as long as we're under the cap. And where else would you rather spend the money... Thus far what has transpired in free agency so far points towards a Draft that is very heavy in defense once again. Bye the way, what Nate got was rediculous
