  1. I think the only way to get around this Bledsoe jerk is to put JP in now! Mularkey is such a freakin' idiot. If he had only listened to this jp-era guy and Rico we probably would be resting guys by this game!!
  2. Well we know Willis was not a geography major. But you gotta like the "I plan to rewrite the NFL record books next year"
  3. If I were coach of the Indianapolis Colts I would tank the game against the Broncos to keep the Bills out of the playoffs. Peyton got his record and they have no rest since they play against a wild card team. I hate to say it, but we need the Rams to beat NYJ.
  4. Do you think they'll shut up this week? Of course not. Because "Bledsoe sucks, he won't take this team anywhere"
  5. It's true winning would help us. But for satisfaction, it's like kissing your sister.
  6. Best that could happen today did!!!!
  7. You're discounting the TD record. Manning may not pass it today. He'll want it next week and he'll also want to hit 50 passes. Denver truly stinks Indy would have to play with 8 guys to lose to them.
  8. There aren't likely to be any more showcase games for Drew this year, or next. Drew's game has been truncated to reflect our new "ball control" offense. Bledsoe is not allowed to go downfield anymore. Excepting of course a couple throws each game to keep the rushing defense honest. It's been tough on him I would guess, once a gunslinger, who is now relegated to a Bradyesque extended handoff type of offense. When Moulds and Price were flying, it was fun to watch. 4300 yards for Bledsoe and a Pro Bowl appearance. Now he's asked to walk into a gunfight with a pop gun. Don't look for big numbers from Bledsoe here anymore, it's not in the scheme.
  9. I hope they loose* *wanted to be the third reply in a row to misspell a word damn, too late!
  10. This Denver team is pretty pathetic. Indy will win no matter the game situation next week.
  11. It looks like a bad made-for-TV movie about how to throw an NFL game.
  12. Titans are playing NO defense. It's actually funny. Titans defenders are falling down on pass plays. Arm tackling. What a JOKE!
  13. would've appreciated this 3 or 4 weeks ago...takes a while to age the kitty jerky..yummm
  14. I like the fact that he keeps his head up like McGahee. Travis starting putting his head down last year when the o line was at its woeful worst. He stopped looking for holes because there never were any.
  15. It's been a real dropsy kind of year for the receivers, with Moulds committing the worst sins. I'd like to see the receivers coaches work on this, and the players themselves should get into a habit of working on it in the off season with a throwing partner. Why most players don't see the obvious benefit of working repetitively on these skills on their own time is mystifying. Instead you here some of them say "I like to get away from the game in the offseason and won't touch a football until training camp".
  16. The TE issue is a big one for all the reasons in the initial post. Campbell and Euhus were rounding into a pretty formidable pair. With them both gone and Neufeld with 2 drops last week (one in the numbers, the other requiring some effort) I'm officially concerned about that dump off option. As far as running back goes, I agree it's a lesser issue THIS WEEK. I would rest McGahee the first half and if we don't need him I don't want him on the field. Shaud impressed me with good field vision, I say he would be an adequate sub against this team.
  17. arbortration hearing if a tree fell in a courtroom would it make a sound....?
  18. Tom Brady will be happy that voting concluded before the Monday night game.
  19. Mickey, Thanks for the posts about the Cinci drives. That's exactly as I and most others saw it but we are too lazy to do the homework you did. Bledsoe is a very solid QB and I agree that our play calling on first down is too damn predictable and has limited the options on 2nd and 3rd down. The reason Charlie Weis has been so incredible for the Pats it that he runs when you should pass and passes when you should run. He stacks to one side, throws to the other. He motions one side runs to the other. Inside the 5 he almost never gives it to the running back on 1st down. This is why Brady has 13 of his TDs of less than 5 yards. We give it to the backs on 1st and sometimes 2nd and then predictable fade route to the corner that everyone sees coming is next making it impossible to complete. To me it's just like baseball. It's not necessarily the guy with the best fastball or changeup. It's the guy who keeps you guessing and is not predictable. He keeps the batter from teeing off on his pitches. A good, inventive offensive coordinator mixes it up in an unpredictable fashion so the D can't tee off on your plays. This may be why Clement didn't get the nod, he's unimaginative.
  20. San Diego Fan, So Bledsoe caused McGahee's injury. This is why the JP lovers/Drew haters have no credibility. Can we appreciate the fact that we have a legitimate shot at the playoffs and Bledsoe is one of the reasons why? Of course not. Had we put in JP at 0-4 we'd be 10-4 now. Right? Bledsoe is 32 and plays solid quarterback and will be the starter next year. Losman has been in 3 NFL games and put simply and kindly, looks lost and perhaps a little raw.
