I use to go to the Rams training camp every year when they had it at Western IL University (Bryan Cox and Rodney Harrison went there). Was really cool when the Rams sucked because there would maybe be 75 to 100 people there during the morning and you could talk to the players and get autographs. After they won the SB of course alot more people started coming, but in the last few years they went back to St. Louis for camp. Only player my kids didn't get anything signed from was Faulk. Remember Tony Banks? Man that guy had a cannon for an arm. He could throw a frozen rope in practice, but when it came game time couldn't do squat.

The Louisville Slugger factory tour and museum tour is actually pretty cool.

I think I'm going to answer my own question, but what would be bigger Watson or John Daly winning the open? I'm going to say if Watson won it would be one of the biggest sports stories in the last 25 years.

I took a tour of the old stadium a couple years ago and had on my Bills golf shirt. The guy giving the tour got quite a kick out of it. Will have to check out the new one when I make it back to Dallas. Did you get to go out on the field? I thought that was a cool part of the old stadium tour.

I thought we had them bad when I lived in IL, but nothing like that.

Very good post. I'm sure there are decent money manager's out there, but the only two I can think of at this moment are Peter Lynch and Warren Buffet who have performed equal to or beat market returns over the years. Lynch has long since retired from Fidelity after his spectacular run.

Last year a trash dumpster that hadn't been lowered all the way hit an overpass and landed on the truck in front of me. I narrowly missed it as it came tumbling down the road. I thought for sure the guy was dead when I got to his truck. He walked away with only a couple of cuts and bruises. I on the other hand darn near crapped my pants.

Edwin Watts golf is great golf store and Golfsmith is also pretty good IMO. I would never pay the prices they charge for new clubs. Just wait a year and you can find a great deal.

My wife wants to buy a VW Beetle Convertible and I'm strongly opposed by going off the reviews I've read online thru Edmunds. Starting back in 2005 and reading thru 2008 they are horrible, but I'm being the bad guy by telling her this. Anyone have an experience with one?
