  1. Marty Schottenheimer made the comment that the Chargers got better over the off-season by getting rid of some players, like Wiley, who were "cancers." He may be a good guy, but he's a bad football player who conned Butler into overpaying for him (gee, what a shock!).
  2. They shouldn't have been feeling well already. Losing to the Bills should be expected. However they SHOULD feel a little better, now that Davis has been fired.
  3. Roethlisberger will runaway with the award. Forget his stats, he's undefeated as a starter. What other QB can say that?
  4. I smell a fix! How is Fed Ex "seasonal" or even "white collar?" No way Jennings blew that on his own.
  5. do you remove Baker from the lineup and put Vincent at FS? Or would it be better to put him at starting CB or nickel back? I don't know. I think Baker has done a good job and can only get better. Vincent though could make an amazing FS. I think that Vincent is more valuable at CB.
  6. Viniatieri has been as important to that team as Brady. But as I've said, they're still first and foremost a defense-led team.
  7. So you're saying that a "good team" should have been able to score 3 TD's after those INT's? And then Bledsoe should be blamed for the loss, even though the opposing offense would have had to march 60+ yards to score each time? Well let's say the Seahawks DID score TD's after every INT. What's the final score (and you can add a point for the failed 2-point conversion that would otherwise have been a PAT)?
  8. Brady, like Big Ben, has a great defense. They also have solid ST's.
  9. Sorry but not even the great Tom Brady can win a game all by himself. There's a reason the Pats made the playoffs in 2001, 2003, and will again this year, and didn't in 2002. It's called defense. It's also called ST's. Brady and the Pats don't make the SB, much less win it, without Vinatieri. So no I don't expect Bledsoe to win a game all by himself, just like I didn't expect Kelly to do so (and he didn't, in the SB's).
  10. Too bad they stevestojan the bed against the Patsies.
  11. I wanted Jackson. Sometimes the best moves are the ones you DON'T make.
  12. The "once-floundering Bills" are no longer "floundering" and have an outside shot at the playoffs. While they still do, Losman sits.
  13. There was good pressure on Bledsoe on more than a few plays. The difference is that it was more often 1 guy bearing down than several, and guys were open for him to throw it.
  14. He needs to average just 55 yards a game to break 1000. He should be able to do that.
  15. Uh, how many SB wins did the Bills have WITH Kelly? I guess we can blame Bledsoe for missing the playoffs SINCE Kelly retired, especially 2002 with that great defense, and last year with that great and healthy offense.
  16. This was mentioned in a thread a few days ago. Willis said he wasn't 100% yet and to look out for next year. I said that I can't wait to see him at 100% AND with a better O-line.
