  1. Let me aks you DeeRay: who WASN'T exposed in that game? Did the defense play particularly well? Was the running game working? Did Bledsoe have lots of time? The sad fact is that the Bills have played poorly in late road games, and that includes the SB. I recall the Bills getting PASTED by the Chefs in Arrowhead during their heyday and virutally every game in Pgh.
  2. And those paltry 7 TD's. What a bum, and only a little over a year and a half removed from an injury that would cripple most people.
  3. Well if MLB and other sports don't do anything about it, the government will.
  4. Hard to take anyone seriously when they advocate tanking this year just to get a jump on the future. Take a look at the Giants. They'd probably still be losing with Warner, but not as badly.
  5. Hard to see anyone play any better than Drew has the past 3 weeks and during the Bills' 6-2 winning stretch. So I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.
  6. The concerns I had about Watson proved themselves, i.e. him being injury-prone. I had the same reservations about Yatil Green (anyone remember him?).
  7. True. The Bills have all-pros at every position on offense, including backup QB. Merely changing the starting QB will make everything better. Oh and did I mention ?
  8. Okay I just went back and watched the play again. I thought he unnceccearily dove, but it was more of a stumble. I also saw him do a quick-check on Campbell, who was walking after the play. So I take back what I said. As I've said before, I hope this kid makes the quantum leap that Marv used to talk about, next year. And BTW, any word on Campbell?
  9. He didn't need to run away from contract. He could have bulled his way in to initiate more contact. IMHO it was a great and a terrible play because Campbell got injured.
  10. Given the choice between a healthy Campbell and 1st and goal at the 1, or a TD and Campbell being gone for the season, I'd take the former. But that's just me.
  11. Too bad he probably ended Campbell's season with that (IMHO unnecessary) dive.
  12. I remember someone talking about an interview with Josh prior to last season, where he sounded stoned. Could it be possible that that might be the reason? I just can't figure out how this guy went from having sure hands to having NO hands?!
  13. Hmmm. Seahags lose and the Bills' pick goes to 19th overall, or Cowboys lose and THEIR original pick goes even lower, as does their record? Tough choice!
  14. Strahan is the leader of that team, thus the leader of that defense, and the best player on the Giants. Losing him was HUGE! However I also talked about Warner's declining play, which taken with the loss of Strahan, meant season over. Coughlin was billsfanone no matter which way he went. And what compounded thing is that while he's good with college or upstart franchises, i.e. people he can more easily control, his act wears thin with established players. That's why I didn't want the Bills to get him, and I knew he hadn't changed even though he claimed he had. You cannot change your basic nature.
  15. There will definitely be a season 2. When that is though, is anyone's guess. These non-networks have some weird-ass seasons.
  16. Bingo. Also during that year's playoffs, the 49'ers won a game against the Packers when in the closing moments Rice fumbled and lost the ball with the Packers ahead, which would have given them a TD, but the zebras said he didn't fumble, Owens goes onto score a TD, and the 49'ers "won." That season was THE reason IR came back.
  17. You mean like Kelly? I hate to have to tear down a great like Kelly to make a point about Bledsoe, but Jim never won a SB either. So now you're betting the farm on Losman?
  18. The whistle wasn't blown before Travis reached the ball over the goalline. The realtime audio proves that.
  19. I don't know. I think that teams are NOT bltizing Bledsoe because they're worried about him handing the ball-off to McGahee, who can take it outside, unlike Henry who was a straight-up-the-middle runner, so the blitzer would either get him OR Bledsoe. I mean the stark contrast between Travis starting and Willis starting WRT sacks given up is amazing, and it happened with Willis' 1st start. As for the Gints, again they were finished when Strahan went down and with Warner's declining play. The Gints didn't replace Warner for no reason.
  20. Whatever. I am "Doc" and you are unable to register. How convenient.
  21. They showed the replay of it in the Pats game the following week. With Travis' second effort he clearly got the ball over. There was no reason the play couldn't have been reviewed and I wonder WTF Mularkey was thinking not challenging it. But ultimately the zebras missed the call, which has been a common theme.
  22. I guess I should have put :sarcasm: in there. And the irony of a "guest" calling someone who they think is someone else a "coward" is just TOO funny.
