  1. You forgot the . The Gints ain't going anywhere for awhile, not with a bad O-line, cap issues, and no #1 pick. As for the Giants, Coughlin's style quickly wore thin on them after it looked like they were responding early. However the season ended when Strahan went down and with Warner's declining play. The best move at THAT point was to insert Manning because they weren't going to make the playoffs regardless. However with Manning playing like sh-- and players now coming out and saying they've quit, Coughlin looks like even more of an idiot.
  2. No the Bills never challenged it. If they had, it would have been scored a TD.
  3. I never once said that. I said he's a good QB and part of the reason they win. But he's not the major reason they win. I think it's fairly obvious that the Pats have the best coaches in the NFL, and when you have that, you always have a chance. They also have a great defense, excellent ST's, and have had a serviceable running game prior to this year, and a great one this year.
  4. Stupid is as stupid does. When you get it through your retarded skull that Brady is NOT the major reason the Pats win, you'll actually have a clue about the game of football. When I have SHOWN you that in 2002 WITHOUT a great defense the Pats missed the playoffs, and when Vinatieri has been the person to save the Pats' bacon time and time again in the playoffs, it's pretty obvious to those without their heads so far up Brady's ass that there's more to the Pats winning than just him. And that's not even taking into account the zebras, who DID propel the Pats to 2 SB's, like that fact or not.
  5. So too was Kurt Warner. Let me know when Brady gets even halfway there.
  6. Brady is a part of the reason the Pats win. He is not the only, or even the major, reason they win. The Pats used to win with Bledsoe, despite inferior coaches and players than Brady has. It's just that in Bledsoe's only SB appearance, his ST's almost on their own lost the game and his defense couldn't generate a single turnover, much less score points for him.
  7. Well then, damn Bledsoe for making the REST of the team underperform!
  8. Let the players and coaches focus on that. I'm expecting, nay demanding, a win.
  9. Not this year he wasn't. And in addition to him, Jason Peters was also inactive. Strange.
  10. Yeah and the Patriots won the AFCCG that year with Bledsoe at the helm. Your point? Mine is that it's a TEAM game. Who says? The Ravens could have built one arond Trent Dilfer, but decided to get cute and dump him in favor of Elvis "has left the NFL" Grbac. And anytime you have the best coaches, you ALWAYS have a chance to win. Now Brady is a good QB, but as I keep saying, 2002 proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that IF he doesn't have a top-rated defense, he can't even take them to the playoffs, and that year he led the NFL in TD's and the offense scored more points than in 2001 or 2003. And Brady next year will make as much as Manning did in 2002 and 2003, it's just that Manning has some high-priced offensive teammates as well whereas Brady's coaches can take anyone and plug them in and have success.
  11. Vincent was CLOSE to playing against Miami. He should be ready for Cleveland. That being said, they don't need him for Cleveland and should rest him for Cincy.
  12. The key word above is "team." Great defense, great ST's, great coaching, great offensive system. Brady wouldn't have sniffed the SB, much less won 2 of them and 2 MVP's, without the other parts.
  13. The Bills need Vincent back AT LEAST as the nickel CB. I asked last week whether he should play FS or starting CB, and most of the reponses were FS, but I think that nickel CB is the best move at this time. Baker is doing well, McGee is improving every game, but Thomas and Greer still aren't there IMHO. At least in Greer's case, he is an UDFA rookie. Thomas is close to finishing his 3rd year.
  14. The coaching staff is working with him on that, and the O-line isn't allowing multiple defenders to come at him from all sides. McGahee has also opened things up with his presence.
  15. No one wanted a piece of Phat Pat. They were just trying to knock the ball out of his hands, if not backing away.
  16. Like I said in another post, if the Bengals lose to the Pats, great. If they beat the Pats, great.
  17. Willis gave up the rock. Shouldn't have happened no matter what. Thankfully it didn't hurt the Bills ultimately.
  18. I agree that IF the Bengals lose to the Pats, their playoff hopes are destroyed. No 9-7 team in the AFC will make the playoffs, and that will deflate them severly for the following week's game against the Bills.
  19. Rest Vincent up for that game. The Bills will need him.
  20. That will be Jason Peters' job, once he's activated full-time. I don't know why he wasn't yesterday?! Most of the ST's are under contract or EFA's/RFA's.
  21. The Bills will be in decent cap shape. Not like in year's past, but remember that the Bills can restructure some contracts to free-up money, which they haven't done the past few years. The young, hard-hitting safety is Baker. As for TE, I'd LOVE to get a Gates-type, but I think we'll have to hope Euhus makes that quantum leap (from rookie to 2nd year player) that Levy always talked about. And I agree that O-line should be a priority.
  22. They've been better. The Bills haven't had this many TD returns in decades. The only downer is Lindell. Oh to have Christie back and in his prime!
