  1. The problem I have with Vick is that more than one NFL pundit has said that he's lost his "elusiveness", which was really his main weapon. He has a thicker build now and can't do what he once did. No one is really interested in him unless he's basically free. I wouldn't give up more than a 7th for him---don't overpay for what Philly would probably LOVE to give-away. Buyer beware.
  2. I think Charles Brown will go in the 1st (mid 20's) and Linval Joseph I wouldn't be surprised if he goes in the 2nd round.
  3. Sirius says Rams safety O.J. Atogwe might be going to Philly as a part of this deal. http://www.google.com/hostednews/canadianp...r-rbCbaUPUIdSNQ
  4. They're saying on Sirius that this is a bad fit for the Bills----McNabb has been in a west-coast offense his entire career and Chan's offense is completely different.
  5. Graham is a good player no question. However, it would be my concern that the team would be drafting a player for the same position/need two years in a row. He's probably better than Maybin, but here's another guy who is changing position for the NFL, albeit in this case to probably a position to which he is better suited.
  6. That's EXACTLY the only way I'd consider this trade. Or swap firsts and Eagles can pick one of the Bills QB's
  7. Here's another option-Michael Smith of Arkansas. Played behind Darren McFadden and Felix Jones. However, looks like hamstring issues through his career. http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dspro...0&genpos=RB
  8. I understand what he is saying, but how are they going to "solve" the QB issue, pick one out of a hat? And I've been skeptical about the Schobel situation. My guess is that they know which way he's leaning and have told him to lay low for now. I think a draft-day trade could come if they can find a team closer to his home or he just packs it in.
  9. Could be an interesting 3rd round pick if he's still there. He'd be an interesting "wildcat" weapon.
  10. He's just had toe surgery and isn't ready to work out yet either. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...-would-like-it/
  11. I see New England all over this only because they have the ammo to move up without losing a lot (three #2 picks: #44 #47 #53). They have no 3rd round and only a late 4th. I'd would take their 1st #2 and probably the #4 to move up a few slots in the 2nd round. The pats only have Brian Hoyer and WR/QB Isaiah Stanback behind Brady. Tampa and KC have two #2's as well but probably won't go after QB's.
  12. I don't agree. McCoy and Suh are DT's where I believe we have enough starting talent for now. McCoy is seen as a 4-3 DT. I understand that Suh is versatile, but I'm not sure he's the "ideal" 3-4 NT. They compare him to Richard Seymour. They're great players don't get me wrong, but "ideal"? I don't agree with that definition. My ideal draft would be to look back a year after the draft and find that we have three new starters. I don't care what position they're in. Some teams get as many as five out of a draft. That's the goal.
  13. I'd like to see a veteran WR brought in, however there's almost no-one available. T.O. is the best available unless you want to give up draft picks.
  14. Something I have learned this year more than in others; nothing is perfect and you can't trade good players away for no return, especially if you don't have a replacement. They'll find a way to make it work.
  15. Had a great 2007 and has played only 12 games in the last two years. I know he had a knee injury and something else. I'd be willing to take a flyer on him. Incognito only got $1 million after some pundits thought he'd probably be sought after being unrestricted. I'd at least see what's up with Curtis. The Bills have ONE experienced receiver; Evans.
  16. Stay with your draft board....stay with your draft board....best player available. I don't think there's a QB in this draft worth overdrafting (ie: trading up). If the Bills are looking for one I think there's an opportunity with that 2nd round pick; McCoy could be there and Pike and LeFevour definitely will be. A couple of those guys might be there in the 3rd!
  17. I'd draft Sergio Kindle instead. I think OLB is more of a problem since Maybin, Kelsay, and/or Schobel are slotted to play there.
  18. A few years ago maybe, but I think that guys career has passed him by. Not an upgrade.
  19. Guys who look good on paper: Pierre-Paul, Taylor Mays, Bruce Campbell.
  20. Fairly accurate. However, I do consistently find it amazing that the Bills can win 6 or 7 games in a season with talent this poor. Will they hit bottom like the Rams or Lions? It COULD be coming.
  21. Not sure if Cleveland got enough for Quinn but I do like Hillis. The Browns have some bruising backs now. I wish we would ditch some of our TE wanna-be's and trade for the Broncos Tony Scheffler. Him and Shawn Nelson would make an interesting pairing.
  22. I like Saffold as a 2nd round value pick. Where he ends up actually playing on an NFL line is anyones guess. Tebow will be drafted by the Pats if they keep all three of those 2nd round picks. Gil Brandt's OT sleeper pick: Jared Veldheer http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players...w;pageContainer
