When we lived in Seattle, our Siamese had Thyroid cancer. So my wife paid to have her treated with radioactive iodine. That caused her sh*t to be radioactive.
Good times, living among all the environmentalists, and having radioactive garbage for a while.
The people filming were just hobbyists who enjoy filming trains. The dumas*'s in the car may have had the music cranked and were likely oblivious to the train.
It's painful to watch, and depending on the weight and speed of the train, it could take well over 1 mile to stop.
We have a 2011 Nissan Murano and a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder.. Both very comfortable and reliable. Both have 6 cylinder and average about 23 mpg. Been driving Nissan since 2003, when i switched from GM. Got tired of being on a first name basis with mr. Goodwrench!
I used to go to the Aud on Friday nights to watch wrestling. Chuck Healy was the announcer. They would record the wrestling and play it back on Saturday nights. I'd get out about 1030pm, and walk Main St. to Seneca/Swan to get the Seneca bus home. I was maybe 10-12 at the time. Good times!
As far as the Bowling shows, didn't they just tear down the Thruway Lanes? They were "state of the art" in the late 50's and that's where a lot of the TV shows originated.
As far as Obits...Don't forget the Courier Express. The best sports coverage newspaper that we had. As I recall, they closed in '82.
Yeah, Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil. Clint Eastwood made it. As usual, the book was much better.
We were there in 2001, and there were actually tours to take you to the story locations. It's a very entertaining read, but I'd skip the movie.
That's true, about 1 hour at BUF, RIC, ROC etc., but don't try it at SFO, EWR, LGA, LAX etc. Even there, 1;30 to 1:45 usually works well. International, Trans Atlantic, Pacific etc. you're back to 2 hours, or more.
That's like somebody buying a house near the Airport and then complaining about the noise!
Costco didn't just begin selling pork. And when Costco sells pork, as with all their other products, they sell it in large quantities. As far as I know, they all sell beer & wine, and a few even have their own liquor departments. So, from the start, Costco was not a good place for a devout Muslim to seek employment. Many times you can be devout and stupid all at the same time!
The environmentalists should also note, they sell a lot of Gasoline& Tires too!
This is probably all lost on the BUF homeboys because there is no Costco in WNY.
