  1. Here, a crusade-free post --- It is pretty sad that our D has been league's best defense over the past two years (bar-none) and we still managed to lose, what, 16 games? Something is wrong and it isn't the defense. Add in that our kickoff returner is a pro bowler, our special teams scored a record number of return TDs this year. Oh, yeah, and our running back ran for more than 1,000 yards in only 12 games. Oops, and our D had as many take aways as any other team in the NFL. Something is wrong and it isn't the D, the special teams or the running back.
  2. The "crusaders" will stay on the job until TD and MM figure out we're right.
  3. MM certainly needs to learn when to be more aggresive. Why didn't Sam Wyche say something? Isn't that suppose to be the benifit of having a coach like him around?
  4. Sign big Pat and let Jennings go -- make acquiring a decent left tackle top priority after re-signing Pat. Not that Jennings isn't decen't but IMO he just isn't doing enough -- never hear a word about him taking a leadership role on the line.
  5. The fun thing, IMO, is that Jim Fassel is expected to replace Cavanaugh. Wasn't Fassel an assitant head coach for the same Ravens team all season? Doesn't that mean he had a lot of input into the offense as well? Why does one get canned and the other promoted if they are both to blame?
  6. Not to be selfish, but I really hope Gray sticks around another year or two.
  7. I think Mike Williams, Milloy and Vincent are working out. Sure, the injury to Troy was bad, but we still have him next season.
  8. It's kind of funny. We all want inside info, but we attack anyone who says they have some. Don't take it personally, there are so many fakes out there -- everyone is just used to not billieving anything from anyone. That said, how am I or anyone else suppose to know you didn't just make it all up? I'm sure you get the picture. But thanks if your scoop is for real.
  9. Anyone need an invite? PM me, and I'll hook you up. I have six.
  10. I love it. Can search through all incoming and outgoing e-mails.
  11. The Bills' front office should take note. I'm not saying a team should allow its fans to make personnel moves, but they have to realize our patience is wearing thin. We are smart fans who know when something is very wrong.
  12. I agree that we should not release him, but he not earning the big money he is getting right now.
  13. Not quite as tough as the NFC West. Ha.
  14. I really cannot wait to see what he does next season. He has said several times that he isn't even at 100 percent yet. This was without the luxury of an off-season to really build an offensive scheme around him. Not to mention to experience and film he now has to learn from.
  15. I've watched that play about 15 times. I am pretty sure everyone went where they were suppose to. The breakdown came when Drew's pitch was a bit behind Williams. Williams should have been able to catch it still, but he is a very young guy, who seemingly was looking at the open field in front of him instead. He would have gotten the first down easily if he grabbed that pitch. The play was the same misdirection play the Bills have run in each of the last seven or eight games. Everyone but a lead blocker and the running back go left. The lead blocker was a pulling left guard. the running back starts left and then cuts right. Bledsoe turns left to fake a handoff and pitches it right. The guard hits the one guy staying home and the back picks follows. McGahee has had a few big runs off this play. McGahee was out because of the shoulder stinger he had just had. I think if McGahee is in, we get the first down and who knows what happens from there. Just another one of the many "if only..." from this game.
  16. I really think the Bills should hire Marv as an assistant head coach. This has nothing to do with his opinion on JP. He wants to coach again, but we have a good head coach already, so why not help him get back into it by letting him help us?
  17. I have to wonder that of the 21 people (as of this post) who voted yes, how many really, honestly billeve that the Bills can win a championship with Drew at the helm?
  18. If Losman is going to be the Bills' QB of the future, it is time to realize the future is now. We won't win a title with Drew, so what is the point? Who here disagrees with that? If the coaching staff -- especially Sam Wyche while he still have have him -- cannot get JP ready in nine months, why should we believe they ever can? Give JP the starting job now or start looking for another free agent QB -- and let the fans know why you used a first rounder on JP?
  19. 1. Re-sign Pat Williams -- good thing he is friends with Sam Adams. 2. Sign free agents to sure up the left side of the line and some quality depth for the o-line. Let Jennings go. 3. Re-sign Nate Clements 4. Deal with Travis Henrey in some way -- if he leaves the team in whatever way, we will badly need a quality backup running back 5. Get JP ready to start (maybe this should be higher) Enhus and Campbell as the tight ends is not bad We were just hit very hard with injuries at this position. Lyndell isn't bad. The miss yesterday was terrible, but he had a great year otherwise.
  20. Yesterday was yet another huge chance for Drew to silence his critics. But, once again, he failed -- in a terrible way. In the end, he must go. I am willing to accept Drew back next year in a backup role, but that is it. Get JP working as the starter now. Announce that JP is going to be the starter in Week 1 of the 2005 season. Let him have the entire off-season, training camp and pre-season to study film, work with the coaches and get to know his fellow starters. Every day this doesn't happen is another day of the Drew era, and another day we won't have a shot at a Super Bowl. The sooner the announcment comes, the better chance JP has at winning next season.
  21. I hate loving the Bills, but I am not going to stop.
  22. ...or Bledsoe could/should have seen the blitz and hit whoever was being left open or in single coverage. When there is an overload, it falls on the QB to make 'em pay for it. Overload blitz cannot be run against good QBs.
  23. I agree 100 percent that the Bills should have gone deep early and often. But, in all fairness to Evans and company, the Steelers kept their starting corners in pretty mich the whole game.
  24. Hey NanaAna, get lost. You post something that is obviously incorrect, get called out on it, and you don't even come back to say you screwed up.
