  1. All TD is saying is that he's not saying anything right now. And yes, he has been known to flat out lie. If he does want to dump Drew, I fully expect him try and get something from someone for Drew -- even if it's a 5th round pick from Arizona. TD may believe he'd be degrading Drew's value by telling the world that Drew is no longer the starter in Buffalo. I would agree with that.
  2. I'll hate the Fish until I die -- and then for as long as I'm allowed after that. F the fish and their mothers.
  3. Miami does not have the draft picks to make this happen for them. He'll be a Raven by the end of March, I'd bet.
  4. Maybe the NFL should include coaches' pay in the salary cap. Maybe the NFL can enable teams to trade coaches for player, draft picks or other coaches --I know this can kind of happen already. I 'd give up two first round picks for Bellichick.
  5. Stomp on damn pizz-clored rag ! Next year the Pitt fans will have nothing to cheer about any way. The Bus will be gone and RottenBurger will be exposed. -- That's just the way I see it this morning.
  6. NEWS BREAK: McNabb no longer plays for Syracuse!
  7. I'm rooting for the Pats. It sucks, I know, but I think this will rightfully cement the fact that the AFC East is clearly the best division in football. By the way, no team has ever won three striaght Super Bowls. Several have won back-to-back titles. History is strongly against the Pats of being able to do it again next year, which opens the door for the Bills! Shut up -- I can live in my own world if I want. Either which way, I am tired of the Eagles.
  8. It wasn't a great draft, I agree. But the top seven picks are still on the team --with probably six of them returning next year. I'd give that draft a C+ which is certainly not a nightmare.
  9. They should make Danny PM.
  10. Rottenburger's success has got natives of Ohio so happy that they are dumping the Browns. Loyality? Not in Ohio. The article
  11. That would be a good deal for the Skins, I think.
  12. Not that I'd ever want him on the Bills, but I also don't want him in Miami or New Jersey. The Pats wouldn't touch him. Tice should get fired if he lets him go.
  13. No way does Magna Inc. win a challenge until Trump reshuffles the teams. I was rooting for Net Worth to begin with, but they really looked like they are about 10 times better than the other team.
  14. What you cannot see in the photo is that Ricky Williams just adminstered some of the "medicine" he is "studying" at "college."
  15. A lot of the items he is selling are available through coaching camps. I have gone through Jim Kelly's coaching clinic twice. I received play sheets from the camp that I was told were from actual Bills' playbooks -- back during the Super Bowl years. It could be that he got this from Kelly's clinic or another like setup. I wouldn't rule out its authenticity, but I wouldn't pay anthing to find out. I'll try to contact the person who bought it and see what he has to say.
  16. Every member of New York National Guard's 1st Battalion, 142nd Aviation Regiment, sent to Iraq in February 2004, has returned to Rochester safely. The mission of the 142nd was to coordinate the activities of 600 soldiers and contractors repairing helicopters in Iraq. They were stationed at Logistical Support Area Anaconda, 45 miles north of Baghdad. Link
  17. Link Just FYI.
  18. I don't think Randy Moss plays for the Fish. Just an observation.
  19. He has Maurice Clarett at #97. I don't think he should be on the list at all.
  20. I know you didn't forget -- he already severely screwed up -- most recently in week 17.
  21. I don't think he'll start on a good team next season, so he would be smart to find a situation like Buffalo will have. Kind of like the way Lamant Jordan did with the Jets this year -- he'll be a starter next year after a few seasons in a good system. I think the Steelers and Jets proved this year the immense worth of having a big bruising back as a backup. He can come in and just wreck people. He doesn't need to get more than a yard or two per carry -- just wear the defense out while at the same time giving McGahee some rest. Pitts' one-two punch is a great way to play the game.
  22. There will be several vet QBs available through free agency for reasonable rates. I doubt TD is too concerned about that. He won't make a move without having his next five moves lined up.
  23. I wouldn't even give Clarett a look as an undrafted free agent.
  24. Giving up a conditional pick that could be worth anywhere from a fourth to a sixth is not much to pay to ensure you get your man. In other words, if the Cards really want him, they could work a cheap trade and make sure no one else claims him off waivers before they get their shot. Or, as some astute waller wrote in this thread, maybe TD could package DB with TH -- anything is possible.
  25. TD would be "general manager of the decade" if he could trade DB. Sorry, I really like Drew as a person, but he is no longer capable of contributing as a starter. I would really like to see him take a nice pay cut this month and remain on as a JPL's backup/on-field coach. If Drew doesn't want to stay with the team after being asked to give up the starting role, then maybe TD could get a conditional pick in the '06 draft.
