We all have to accept the fact that TD is staying true to form in that when he was the GM of the Steelers he did the exact same thing with their big name free-agents, he dismantled that team every year but we can take solice in the fact that they did consistently field a competitive football team. I wouldn't be too nervous just yet about some of those comments, false starts are mental mistakes as we all know and watching the o-line steadily improve last year I'm thinking that "Mouse" can correct both mental and disciplinary shortcomings on any O lineman from what I've seen, or maybe I'm just naive!?!

I don't know about you guys but I love it when the NFL analysts trash us!! That's a really good omen for the upcoming season. Historically when we're "supposed to suck" going into the regular season, we've had our best results. Two years ago if you recall even before the season started we were expected to be heading to the playoffs, we had that blowout win against the pats and then humiliated Jax the following week and the whole country suddenly were "longtime Bills fans" How did we finish? Oh yeah! 6-10 I love when expectations are low for us, the majority of idle NFL fans believe all the crap they hear from these so-called gurus, that's where they get the verbal diarhhea they spew out come the reg. season! Can't wait for the schedule to come out, I'm going to be up a couple hundred bucks by about week 6 from some work buddies, I love it!!

Well said! There is no grey here, you're either a DIE HARD BILLS FAN or you're not!! I told a guy at work the other day I was a Bills fan and he said "yeah, I used to be a Bills fan but I'm not anymore." I dryly responded, "No, you weren't!"

I read an interesting article on Bills report earlier this morning that made me feel like a real dope for ever having one ounce of empathy for this clown! He went on and on about how every problem he has faced while in Buffalo was everyone else's fault except his own. At one point (I'm not making this up, you can read it for yourself) he had the unmitagated gall to blame the wide receivers for his ineptness! I guess Moulds, Price and Evans are a bunch of second rate slumps, huh Drew! I started to think back on his last days in N.E. when he took out the full page ad in the paper to thank the fans blah! blah! and then bashed the organization openly on NFL Countdown, Well I guess we're next fellow Bills fans, so be prepared to have to listen to some lame ass interview on Fox NFL Sunday next season with Terry Bradshaw having to provide DB with tissues listening to how he wasn't given every oppurtunity to succeed but that he's excited about his oppurtunity now in Dallas and how he plans to bring them a super bowl victory! I am going on record right now in saying that this season is significant in that we will be righting 2 wrongs at once in that... 1) Getting even with Parcells for beating us in the Bills-Giants SB by having the guy we sent to him being his downfall in his return to coaching, and ultimately leading to his FIRING not retiring. 2) Getting even with Dallas by being indirectly credited with sending them a washed up never-was and in return having them give us a pick in the draft that sent us the "BIG CAT" that will send both teams in very different directions for years to come.

And look how that worked out!?! Drew has done nothing but bash the Bills since leaving! His ego is so large, he drones on and on to anyone who will listen that is was everyone else's fault that he couldn't succeed here. ie: the coaches, the line and the receivers... blah, blah, blah! I'll admit that I felt bad for the guy when he was released but now I wish the man would have beaten up first, then sent tarred and feathered to Dallas! I hate Bledsoe, he SUCKS!!!

I just finished reading Adam Derges' column about the patsies releasing Troy Brown and the unfortunate scenario involving Bruschi. He made a good point about the team's motivation going into next season, it seems to me that as players on this team you could easily buy into this idea of "doing what's best for the team..blah, blah" up to a point. Sooner or later though they have to ask themselves, "What about Me?" How is my loyalty being rewarded?" I think that this team is going to resemble the one we humiliated 31-0 in the 2003 opener next season rather than a dynasty team and as it was formed from Bob Kraft on down, so shall it be destroyed!

I'm with you DML! Putting aside JPL's mobility for a sec. It's already been well documented that he can accurately throw the ball with zip on the run and complete short passes! Two things that DB flat out couldn't do! How do these BIG CAT naysayers think he could possibly do worse statistically or otherwise?!?

Not sure! We need one of those super posters with endless knowledge of every NFL players current stats, whereabouts, home addresses, dress sizes, etc. I personally think we should follow KC and INDY's lead and sign one of the top kickers in the CFL for peanuts which is still double what they're making now! Lawrence Tynes played for the Ottawa Renegades and Mike Vanderjagt started with the Toronto Argonauts! I'm Canadian EH!
