Trevon Diggs is not modest and misguided.

Is that Tomlinson? -
What could it mean?

After slowing this video down I’ve determined Isaiah McKenzie tripped Josh Allen. It was an accident so the death penalty will not be needed, but he is definitely cut immediately.

It’s all part of the grind. Injuries will happen.

Lol Darnold. Poor guy.

Clarification on Spencer Brown injury

Sucks that he couldn’t have a full offseason to work on improving as a player. -
Across the League Camp Injury Thread

Chase Young and White injuries were around the same time. Doesn’t mean much for recovery as everyone is different and we don’t know if the damage is the same. But he’s going to miss some games. Washington has a bad history rushing franchise players back if you remember RG3 so maybe they will be extra cautious. -
It’s 100% measurement based. Short arms. His arms 29”. That is very short but John Brown’s arms are also short and he had success outside in this offense. I don’t think it matters too much but CBs will have an easier time getting hands on him so he will have to have great releases. But just because you’re outside doesn’t mean you’re on the line. Traditionally the X is on the line and the Z is off the line. Let’s see what he can do before writing him off outside. That said Beane the other day did say Shakir is more of a slot guy and they’re continuing to look for outside depth.

What’s strange is there has been very little talk of the WRs outside of Diggs, Davis, McKenzie and Shakir. Who’s working with the 2nd teams? How have they looked? We forget that Stevenson was a dog last training camp and preseason. Looked like the real deal then he got hurt.

I made a joke with a friend saying watch Maurkice Pouncey come out of retirement to play with Brady. Googled him to see what he’s up to. You won’t believe what he looks like now. Let’s just say he definitely isn’t thinking about a comeback.

If McKenzie wins the slot job I won’t be surprised to see Crowder getting reps outside as the primary backup at all 3 WR spots. I think we’re underestimating Knox as well . He could easily steal targets at every spot. He’s got the athleticism to play all over the lineup like the top TEs do. Knox could easily see 100+ targets next year.

Stevenson got fans excited last year in camp but hasn’t done much in OTA or camp so far. McKenzie has shined whenever he’s played but I don’t think he’d be an option. His route tree is limited. Shakir we’ll definitely have to see. I actually think the question is can Crowder flex outside and line at the X or Z if needed.
-
And why is that? For me it’s a developmental need, future. 3-4 years down the road we need someone ready to step in. You make it sound as if they will need an instant upgrade next year.

Too bad we didn’t land Jarvis Landry instead of Crowder. They said the Bills were in on it. He didn’t get much. Robinson is a legit Wr1. I don’t know how much better he is than a healthy Robert Woods, but they definitely won’t lose anything with Robinson.

How’s their center depth? 🤫
-
Oh I know. We choose quickness over height and length. At least the last 2/3 years. X and Z WRs tend to be taller and longer. We’ve done it with smaller WRs. Knox can also lineup at the X and Z. If anything I would say he’d see more time split out wide with an injury. Top TEs like Kelce and Waller already do that. We could see more of this from Knox.

5 years ago if we traded for a Baker Mayfield type QB we’d be very excited.
-
He would’ve been a perfect developmental WR but LB was also weak at depth. He’s the one player I look at and wonder about. Also in 2021 instead of 2 DEs early maybe a WR to develop. If you look at that list though if they add someone like Breshard Perriman after cuts I think it’s a solid group.

Let’s stop this bickering and actually look at the top Super Bowl contenders. Some of these WRs like Godwin, Allen, Kupp, and Smith-Schuster are going to run out the slot the majority of the time but can play all over. The Bills definitely could use another WR, especially comparing to the league. That 3rd guy is weak. Top 2 guys I’m taking the Bills over Chiefs, Packers, 49ers, Cowboys, Colts, Broncos, and Ravens. So top 2 we’re good. Upgrade needed at #3. Now I know Crowder can play, but he’s like Beasley. A slot only guy. Bills - Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis, Jake Kumerow Bucs - Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Julio Jones/Russel Gage Chiefs - JuJu Smith Schuster, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Mecole Hardman, Packers - Adam Lazar, Sammy Watkins, Christian Watson Rams - Cooper Kupp, Allen Robinson, Van Jefferson Chargers - Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, Josh Palmer 49ers - Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, Danny Gray Cowboys - Ceedee Lamb, Michael Gullup, Jalen Tolbert Colts - Michael Pittman, Alec Pierre, Paris Campbell Broncos - Cortland Sutton, Jerry Juedy, Tim Patrick Ravens - Rashod Bateman, Devin Duevernay, James Proche Bengals - JaMarr Chase, Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd
