If I told you after last year’s playoff loss to KC that Shaq Lawson, Greg Rousseau, AJ Epenesa, and Boogie Basham would lead our pass rush in the playoffs what would you say? Leslie Frazier should be able to get pressure with that group? Can’t be serious.

It’s not just about playing him it’s a mentality. We’ve heard all year that he needs to be less handsy. Plus we need the combination of front 4 pass rush and tight coverage.

Number 1 it’s hard to win a Super Bowl. I will only question coaching if we start losing wild card games consistently.

We got completely dominated.

Why do you think that?

We need our Chris Jones in the playoffs. It was supposed to Von. As for rookies I think that might have been the biggest mistake from the coaches. They should’ve put their most physically gifted CB out there and let him play physical. I remember all camp and all season the talk of Elam was he’s too handsy. He liked to get his hands on WRs. They wanted that to stop. Problem is that’s exactly what we needed.

I don’t understand the the calls for coaching changes. Look at the defensive line they put on the field in the playoffs and compare it to pretty much any other championship DL. We haven’t had anyone on the DL we can depend on to make a play in any of Josh Allen’s playoff years. When it’s about beating the top 2-3 teams in the league you need those players on the DL.

It’s going to look different roster wise but we’ll be right there with KC and Cincinnati because of Josh Allen. I really feel like we’re the Colts of the previous era. Chiefs are the Patriots, Bengals are the Steelers. We’re the soft team, but we will eventually get where we want to be. The Bills have to better protect Allen and they have to add another top level defensive lineman/Pass rusher. Yes adding Von Miller and a healthy Jordan Phillips would be very helpful but we need to either upgrade Oliver or make another splash DL addition, most likely through trade.

This isn’t even close to an accurate statement. We have been one the most consistent and best defenses since 2017. What we lack on defense is the elite player on the DL. You need to be able to get pressure with a front 4 vs top level QBs. You’re not likely to fool them. We didn’t sign Von Miller as a luxury. We needed him. It’s also not a surprise how different the defense was without a physical point of attack DT like DaQuan Jones. We need to go and get a top level DT because Ed Oliver isn’t it. I’ve said this a few times but that DL we had in the playoffs was so much worse than previous playoff DLs that we said needed upgrades. It was basically the DL that failed us last year but without Hughes and Addison. It is truly a Jimmy and Joe’s issue.

Bengals WRs are unbelievable.

Too much ref time in this game but overall it was a good game.

It’s all about front 4 pressure. If you trust it, it sets up how you play on the back end. It’s never the other way around.

Way too early

I’m sure we’ll get updates in the offseason. Obviously something serious happened and is affecting her every day life. We haven’t heard from her in a year almost.

Well, they didn’t become a top organization by listening to fans and making emotional decisions.

That’s the NFL. Dawkins is good. Got beat some yes but that is a product of an OL struggling.

I’ll give him a pass on Hodgins. No one saw it coming. He would’ve been perfect as a big slot for us next year. Dawkins, Morse, and Bates are at least starter quality. Fill in 1st/2nd round talents around them and we should have a solid OL. Got to draft the right players.

He drafted Cody Ford and traded Wyatt Teller. So it’s possible.

There’s going to be more defensive changes. Coaching staff and players. It’s going to looks very different.

Yes they can. They can literally do anything they want to do. There are different types of changes. They could change DL coach. They could change rush schemes and keep coaches. They could go more dramatic and risk some of the future by upgrading pass rush. Cap can be manipulated. There will be future consequences but it can be done. You’d also give up draft capital in a trade. But the Bills time is now, the future can wait.

Depends on health. Hard to predict. We can’t depend on Von alone to fix the pass rush. Changes must be made with the DL in some fashion.

Or Rogers plays another 3 years at a high level.

I did read some tweets today from another team saying they didn’t renew contracts of some position coaches so who knows.
