I would probably take Woods over OBJ at this point. Woods should be further along in his recovery from ACL.

Back to LA.

Question for people that want all plays reviewable for penalties. What happens if the ref doesn’t call holding on Bradberry in the Super Bowl but Andy Reid throws the challenge flag? Are we upset when they reverse the call?
-
I don’t want them stopping games to review missed penalties. Terrible idea.
-
No it’s not. I hate the idea of reviewing penalties with a passion.

Why bother with Special Teams?

That’s a starting OG. If you take that cap and Saffold’s cap you get a top free agent OG. -
You get one player this offseason…who is it?

Adam Henry WRs OBJ And Landry are the big names talked about. Henry recruited and coached DJ Chark also. He was only there for his redshirt year and freshman year. I love the potential of Chark. -

I love the potential and then I can play Diggs out of the slot more. -
Do the Bills Under Appreciate Gabe Davis?
Buffalo_Stampede replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
You’re doing too much work. Lol, but good work. Gabe Davis’ numbers to me are average WR2 numbers for a high scoring offense. Maybe below average. Thats kind of the point I’m trying to make. I know 1,000+ and 10 TDs are big numbers for WR2 but that’s my expectation in this offense. Otherwise you’re replaceable. Gabe Davis is a replaceable WR2. -
Von Miller's injury, and pass rush needs this offseason

Hyde said he was cleared to play the AFC championship game. I’m not worried about him. He’s sort a QB of the defense just having him out there will be a boost, even if he lost a step. -
Eww. Don’t want that at all. I want less official involvement, not more

We’re pretty much stuck with the guys we have. Hope for the best. -
Do the Bills Under Appreciate Gabe Davis?

Our QB has 4,300 yards and 35 TD. Not all teams throw the ball as well as the Bills. I think it’s a fair expectation of WR2 with those passing stats. Basically my point is 50 catches, 700-800 yards, and 6-7 TDs isn’t an impressive WR2 stat line when the QB has 4300 yards passing and 37 TDs -
I’m nervous about the Bills. The Sabres have a young talented team with a lot of cap space. They’re going to be good the next 5 years. The Bills and Sabres are never good at the same time. 🥺

Get rid of punting. -
Transparency is always better but that’s exactly what I thought went on. Someone reviewing and over analyzing the play. Make a decision and let’s go. I think the majority of people would call that an INT. That’s got to be the goal of officiating. Look at it quickly and make a decision. Part of me thinks the NFL likes the controversy.

Snatching away isn’t simultaneously catching the ball. The key to replay is not think about it too much. The WR didn’t get possession until the roll over on the ground. It’s not a simultaneous catch.
-
How about the one below? That’s an interception. Call reversed. Took me 2 seconds. XFL watched it over and over and called it a TD. Transparent or not, they still suck.
-
Won’t change anything. That’s an easy one. Imagine them trying to figure out if he survived the ground.
-
Needs to be like my living room. Calls are made in 30 seconds or less.

I’m not saying devalue special teams. I’m saying the rule helps you, use it. The rule itself devalues special teams. Take the touch back. I’m fine having the best coaches and putting emphasis on good special teams in practice. I don’t think you need kick cover specialists over quality defensive and offensive depth. -
I think someone like Paris Campbell, young and hungry, will be overpaid initially. Probably get more than OBJ. The hope with Campbell or someone like that is they become a WR2 and outplay the contract.

The Bills likely have a cap budget for special teams spending. So they probably used cap on cover guys that they saved on a rookie kicker contract. They might have had 1-2 extra special teams players because Bass was cheap.
