Stunts are really called by the players. Typically have a player like Von or someone calling them pre snap. I remember Alexander use to call them and when he left the Bills struggled finding someone who could call them as successfully.

What they are probably planning is matching personnel more. Meaning putting a more physical LB on the field vs obvious run personnel and going lighter vs pass personnel.
