  1. You know what coach I felt struggled last year and it wasn’t Dorsey? Aaron Kromer. Dorsey was fine. I like to think I understand offense and schemes and I just didn’t see anything to complain about other than the routes Davis and McKenzie were running. I mentioned this many times throughout the season. I tend to believe these 2 players can’t run a full route tree. But that’s what I’ve seen out of them since being Buffalo Bills. Davis says he can do it all, well let’s see it. McKenzie should be running crossers all day long, that’s what he’s good at. Teams took that away. Not much else he can do. I would’ve liked to see Diggs in the slot more last year. Hopefully Kincaid is a quick learner.
  2. Whatever increases the salary cap. I’m good with NFL games exclusively on Food Network app if it helps us sign a WR2 next year.
  3. McKenzie had a much larger role under Dorsey due to injury. Under Daboll he was a gadget player and backup. He had some good games vs man coverage where he could run those crossers. The Bills did not trust their healthy slot options last year. The blame is with Beane. Crowder was capable but had a long history of injuries.
  4. Turnover is normal. All of our top positions are under veteran contracts. QB1, WR1, LT, Edge1, and CB1. So obviously there’s going to be some tough contract decision’s moving forward. I think Tre White will be the 1st to go. Hopefully Elam can replace White on a rookie deal. That will give us immediate relief. Beane is just filling in around those players. It would be nice to get a rookie deal at one of those positions.
  5. I’m good with trying anything but this isn’t a team where you want to be depending on edge players trying to find their game. We’re a Super Bowl contender and we’ve already seen a lot of Oliver, Epenesa, and Basham. All that’s left for these players is hope.
  6. Picture it! Obvious passing situations Miller - Philips - Rousseau - Ngakoue Base Nickle Rousseau - Jones - Ford - Ngakoue Miller/Williams/Bernard - Milano Yes, I would have Rousseau rushing from 3TDT because he’s amazing at it. Miller would rotate in at LB for base nickel with Dorian Williams and Bernard. Miller would play the Lorenzo Alexander roll from a few years ago. I loved that defensive scheme, just wasn’t as talented as we are today.
  7. No, it’s not “dumb” to sign someone that helps your pass rush. I’ve kind of mentioned this before but what I want them to do is trade Ed Oliver and sign Yannick Ngakoue to a long-term contract. Multiple reasons. We load up at edge this season, have insurance for Von Miller or if Rousseau fails to take that next step. You can easily play Miller, Rousseau, and Ngakoue at the same time. We would have a great 3 man rotation at edge. I would sign Matt Ioannidis DT a cheap deal as our 4th to rotate in. So my plan is trade Oliver and sign DE Ngakoue and DT Matt Ioannidis. You can do this and save cap space this year believe it or not.
  8. I would love to see them kick Oliver out to edge. He’s not a natural pass rusher but I think he could do some work vs OTs with effort alone. Im not worried about Miller being ready to play, I’m worried about him being a dominant pass rusher again. ACLs are tough for older players.
  9. Question, if Von Miller can’t return or is a lesser player are we good with edge?
  10. 2025. Possible new LT, WR1, CB1, Edge1. 4/5 of the most important positions on a roster. I feel we have a 2 year window with familiar faces leading us. But with QB1 set it’s so much easier to build.
  11. They’re in good shape but they have to find their next WR1 soon because Diggs’ cap number will begin to be a burden. Probably have 2 years left with Diggs, if that. I could see an Allen extension soon which would push a lot of cap back. Chiefs are already talking Mahomes extension to make him the highest paid QB. A tough decision next year will be Tre White. Post June cut next year saves $10+ million. With Allen restructuring and cutting White the Bills will be close to positive cap space. There’s plenty of other moves that probably get them around $20 million under.
  12. His edge moves this offseason are definitely Little Baller Beane moves. Lack of above average edge play will hurt us this year.
  13. There is no comparison to Reed made at all! They aren’t even remotely close as prospects other than they both had great hands in college. The offense had its struggles between the 20’s as the season went on. I tend to blame the lack of good route runners on the roster. But you’ve watched enough football and probably already knew that.
  14. Lol that’s a stretch. No, I don’t think Kincaid will drop a lot of balls or be like Josh Reed. My goodness. 😂 The point was pretty simple. What you did in college doesn’t mean anything. All it does is get you drafted. As for Dorsey, how does he prove to you? Stats don’t matter so is it just the end result? I don’t mean TDs because we scored them, but I mean playoff success?
  15. There is nothing to criticize about the signing. The criticism is for people thinking this signing means anything at all. It’s a nothing signing. Edge is a need Beane hopefully fills by camp.
  16. Man you’re replies are too long for my attention span. I know how the cap works. I know the current contracts on the roster. I know what we can and can’t do. Beane can add to the roster. He’s choosing not to push more cap into the future or make other roster moves to create cap. I understand why he’s not doing. That’s one of the reasons I’m questioning his ability to get us where we want to go. We can’t worry too much about 2-3 years down the road. We are currently in a Super Bowl window. Poyer, Hyde, Diggs, and Miller aren’t going to be all pros forever.
  17. They have money. I’m not going to make excuses for Beane. Our pass rush has failed us multiple seasons. Relying on 34 year old Von Miller coming off an ACL is playing with fire. There are good insurance pass rushers available. They need to sign one. Simple as that. Restructure a contract or 2, release a contract, trade someone. Whatever it takes to sign one. Again, I prefer Yannick, but that would mean making a significant trade. So no, I don’t expect that. But they can definitely create enough space for Ingram or Houston.
  18. Beane said he’ll get work at both positions but he said they do that with everyone.
  19. I look at redzone in the 2nd half. Went from 22nd week 10/11 to 10th by the end of the year. I also know our QB was injured. I also watched a worse offense in 2021 regular season. I also remember having to defend Daboll on this message board. They definitely struggled but they also faced good defenses. Had a QB with torn UCL. No slot WRs. Gabe Davis fighting himself.
  20. Crazy expectations? What do you consider crazy expectations? I want Yannick, but not expecting him. You think Justin Houston is a crazy expectation? Melvin Ingram? We already know our pass rushers aren’t good enough without Von. Von is 34 coming off ACL.
