  1. Paging Edmunds’ mother! Edmunds’ mother, we have a comment about your son in an Akiem Hicks thread! Where are you?
  2. Turns out the reports of Levi being worth $9M/yr were greatly over exaggerated. I like Levi, he’s an easy guy to root for. I’ll never forget when he got a burner phone and allowed fans to call and speak with him. I never dialed in, but it just went to show the kind of guy he is. I wish him all the best in PIT, except when he plays the Bills. Congrats, Levi!
  3. Careful, Edmunds’ mother lurks these boards and is known to pounce on any opinions that aren’t favorable to her son.
  4. McKinnon, McKissic, McKittrick, McKenzie, McKelvin. Does that cover all of our McK bases? And in news that means absolutely nothing, all except McKittrick are the same length.
  5. Chan Gailey dialed up some pretty good screens to Jackson and Spiller.
  6. He looks plenty fast, faster than the 4.57 he was timed at the combine.
  7. Oh wow, looks like a child wrote that post. Give it up, you lost. Take off your plastic rent-a-cop badge, kick up your feet and call it a day. I don’t care enough about your fallacies and irrational arguments to entertain you anymore. It’s like speaking to a child.
  8. My god, 1+1 does not equal 2 for you. You brought up Deion Sanders to make a point while we were discussing Edmunds - let me reiterate again - the discussion was ABOUT Edmunds and his lack of impact plays on the field! Don’t bring up a first ballot Hall of Fame cornerback in your attempt to prove a point. You ARE comparing the two because you attempted to justify that which cannot be seen, plays that never happened. Apples to apples. Deion Sanders locked up his man, consistently, interceptions or not. The broadcast team had fun showing replays of him taking out his man. There’s no argument he was an impact defender, yet here we are debating the merits of Edmunds as such. Your comparison, no matter how much you’re reluctant to admit it, was not only wrong, but stupid. As far as my first post in this thread… So now it’s an insult to suggest trading a player with a hefty contract to acquire another. Got it. That’s only an insult to YOU, because you clearly take my posts about Edmunds personally. Are you Mrs. Edmunds? I didn’t mean to offend your son, I just don’t think he’s worth his current cap hit. That’s my opinion, sorry. If it makes you feel better, I swear I’ve never called him a bust or said that he sucked. I’ll include photographic evidence here which supports my claim. You can stop your crusade now, Mrs. Edmunds. You’re tough as nails. More relentless than your son on the field.
  9. Perhaps because it’s fun to speculate on a message board…?
  10. If the version of the Rams that showed up against CIN played the Bills in the Super Bowl, Bills win with an average effort themselves, of that I have no doubt. If first half TB Rams showed up against KC Bills, that game couldve gone either way.
  11. Chandler Jones and Charvarious Ward
  12. I think Shenault and Cordarelle Patterson are very similar players - very physical, shifty WRs, but not the best route runners. I wonder if Shenault would take carries out of the backfield or convert to RB like Patterson. EDIT: just saw they’re almost exactly the same size and build too.
  13. This thread might reach 80 pages and extend well into the season 😂 I would only entertain the idea of Edmunds at $10M/yr if our base defense was a 4-3 and he proved to be more impactful as a weakside OLB. I don’t like him at $10M/yr in his current nickel role, not enough return on a double digit million dollar contract.
  14. WR doesn’t seem like a position starved for talent like QB, DE, OT, and CB, so I’m surprised the salaries have escalated so high. With the amount of college WRs who come into the NFL from spread offenses and pro-style schemes, you’d think value on the position would be closer to RB than DE.
  15. Seems like the Colts don’t have a solid plan.
  16. Good luck, Mitch! Except when you play the Bills, of course.
  17. What made that hit especially damning - not that Landry was aware I’m sure - is that Aaron Williams was just coming off his neck injury the year prior. I held my breath when he was lying there on the field, he could’ve been paralyzed.
  18. Knew Bates was athletic but had no idea he tested that well. Excellent stuff.
  19. This is so silly it’s hardly worth a response. You used Deion Sanders in your example as a player who makes impact plays on the field that aren’t visible and related that to Edmunds making impact plays that aren’t visible because teams are reluctant to throw in his area. Is that not what you’re doing in comparing Sanders impact to Edmunds? The length you will go to, to justify your rationale and then claim the comparison wasn’t your intention is ridiculous beyond measure. Ask yourself this… why do you more put on your wrinkly slacks and plastic rent-a-cop badge to patrol these threads? You claim everyone is entitled to an opinion, yet the first post in this thread you commented on had nothing to do with my “that’s just reality” claim. It was an opinion that was liked and supported by others but you swooped in with your “little fella” name calling. You need a bat signal, or better yet, a Tremaine Edmunds signal that entices you to crawl out of hiding whenever you do miss a critique. The effort must be exhausting on your behalf and you derailed this thread to make it about you and I, good job. Another poster above told me to “give it a rest,” but it’s you who constantly chirps at me, so who truly is the one who should give it a rest? I enjoy arguments, debates, and banter, it’s the reason I haven’t put you on ignore, even if you do go to great lengths to justify things no matter how faulty the logic. It’s annoying, but also humorous. This wasn’t an Edmunds thread until you made it such, despite one thing I said in a single post. Get a life… put that in your fecund mind.
  20. That’s the hope, but it remains to be seen.
  21. Every time Bates went in at C - which wasn’t very often - I thought he looked good, no noticeable drop off, but was surprised when he played well there for a series a couple years ago only to he yanked out and replaced by Mongo. Doesn’t seem like the staff thinks highly of him. He only got his shot this year due to multiple injuries to starters and backups.
  22. Bates is a RFA, right? I’d be shocked if he wasn’t tendered. If Saffold signs, one of the starting guards from last year’s playoffs has to be benched. Anyone know why TEN released him?
