  1. Eh, she'll figure it out sooner or later.
  2. milk crates as DVD/PS2 game/CD storage
  3. I also had a plastic storage bin as a coffee table
  4. I didnt have the Kramer, but i do have the "dogs playing poker" poster. Also necessary in a bachelor pad: Lingerie calendar that is roughly 3 years old the "bowl" thats used for every single meal shelving composed of boards and cinder blocks
  5. anna's old news. this round definitely goes to SDS. JSP, you should have tried a newer star such as sharapova, or one of the many hotties on the womens tennis tour.
  6. and the one on top is waiting for it. Good Lord those are some smokin hotties!
  7. count me in too.
  8. wimbley signed for 6. 6 years is the max up until a certain pick. The rest of the 1sts have 5 years max, and everyone else is 3 or 4.
  9. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2528698 its a 5 year deal for 22.5 million. i hope whitner signs for 6, but probably wont with huff only signing for 5.
  10. Not sure on the season tix, but i get the coupon book at the beginning of the year and you trade those in game week for tix. You can get tix easily to any game except the Miami or UF games. As puhonix said, if you are an alum but still have your student ID, then its just a matter of finding someone with an extra coupon. Being a grad student helps too. There are a bunch of people i know that barely go to games, so i can get their coupons.
  11. I'll go with a WR or CB. Not sure which one yet. If i get some time, maybe i'll start both and see which i enjoy more. To those complaining about fluff, the superstar mode last year was just the same gameplay with some extra fluff around it. This time, its an entirely new way to play the game. You control your own idividual player, and have no say on anyone else. The AI calls plays, and you play them from your position. You can play however you wish. Be a TO if you want. I am fairly excited to try this out. IMO, defense will be better, because i have a feeling the offensive AI is going to frustrate me. As for the hockey games, '07 comes out in september.
  12. We've got 3 originals left from the 1st year, and 3 more from the 3rd year. out fo the other 6, about 4 have been in for 4-5 years. Usually theres a turnover of 1-2 owners every season. If we cant find a 12th, we'll drop down to 10 teams if necessary.
  13. we usually do something similar. Set the teams up, play a chunk of season 1, and after the offseason, we sim season 2. My girlfriend works at the mall, and since she can only work limited hours during the week due to classes, weekends is when she racks up big hours. Which means i rack up the big hours of college football and madden.
  14. no lions for you this year? i could always take the chargers again, but i think they may be too good.
  15. Well, thats half the fun right there. Its usually like 5 hrs if you hafta build a new stadium. And we only play the super bowl, because if we played the entire playoffs, you wouldnt make it to the super bowl. btw - what sh------- teams are we taking this year? (no shots at the bills, ass)
  16. We have a 12 team league, 3 divisions of 4, just to spice things up. I know that the yahoo waiver wire is fair, but our league treats FA's as being on waivers. I dont like that if Jim Jones has a good game, he goes to the first guy able to log onto the league website. Our league is going into our 12th year this season, which isnt bas considering we started it in 9th grade. in all that time, we have tweaked the rules to be the most fair for everyone playing. Our free agent dibs rules take into accoutn whether or not you made a move the previous week. (our league limits roster acquisition to 1 per week, made like a waivers claim), along with your current record. This prevents the real sh------- teams from geting the best FA's every week.
  17. Some of ask these exact questions about your draft bashing and defensive back bashing posts.
  18. He CRIED just going into the vets office? He's getting his ass kicked for that next time i come to the house.
  19. Not mine. Shes likes all of the zelda games and such. Shes dreading august 22 tho. (Not like i neglect her or anything, but she just cant see how she can go to work on a saturday for 8-9 hours and i can go to puhonix's and play madden the entire time shes working)
  20. I'm not knocking yahoo at all, it just depends on how mch control you want over your league. Yahoo is great for people who have a bunch of friends who just want to play and dont care too much about running a league. We use fanball because we like tocustomize things even more. our league is split into divisions, has a schedule my buddy makes every year, with more divisional games, we have a waivers claim system for free agents, instead of the first person to log on gets him. It all comes down to how much control you want over the league. If a little is all you need, my recommendation is yahoo. If you want more, use fanball. IMO, sportsline is NOT worth the extra $$$.
  21. Aint these the truth! Especially the madden comment. My girlfriend bought me madden last year and said it was the biggest mistake she ever made.
  22. If you just want to play, yahoo is fine. But if you need a commissioner service, ie-you have your own rules, own schedule, own playoff settings, then you need to pay for a service. In regards to fanball, yes there are ads, but they arent obnoxious or anything. just your typical side banner ads. Personally, i'll take a few small ads on the screen to save almost $100.
  23. i posted this in another thread, but i am guessing 6 yrs 25-27 mil, with a 13 mil SB
  24. kotalik re-signed as well.
  25. FWIW, we have used fanball for the pas 4 years, and have never had a problem, and its only $60 compared to $120. I used sportsline when it was free, and dont see a difference between www.fanball.com and sportline fantasy comissioner.
