  1. Using the wonderlic to try to measure a player's football intelligence (and general intelligence) would be like using a potato sack race to determine how fast they are. There's no correlation.
  2. Even Fitzy agrees the wonderlic is a BS test of intelligence. And he basically aced it. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/Morris-Claiborne-NFL-draft-LSU-Wonderlic-score-040312
  3. $100 for a Nike, or $30 for a DHGate that's pretty damn close? I'm guessing most people will opt to save the $70. If the NFL really wants to stop the "fakes" then they'd price their jerseys a lot more reasonable.
  4. Excellent post. Most of the knuckle draggers dogging Claiborne in this thread probably would struggle to hit double digits on the wonderlic. The funniest part is that while these internet tough guys bash Claiborne, he's about to be a millionaire, while these guys will continue to make $15/hr.
  5. If you look at the NFL, there's quite a few teams have the new collar. The Bills, Chargers, Broncos, Buccs, Vikings, Saints, and Rams all have the half-collars.
  6. And yet Morris Claiborne had no problem digesting and grasping the complexities of the LSU defense, playing against top competition most weeks.
  7. Red 3rd jerseys would be cool.
  8. Thank you for actually bringing some sense into this idiotic discussion. He's most likely thinking, "i'm here to do drills, get interviewed, and take a medical exam. Why the !@#$ do i have to take a written test that has absolutely zero bearing on my future NFL career?"
  9. This would be useful if thw wonderlic actually meant anything. But it doesnt. It's not a test of intelligence or smarts. It does nothing but test how well you take the wonderlic.
  10. Colleges are also allowed to change jerseys on a whim, and jersey/apparel contracts are with individual universities, not the league. The NFL and teams will not have uniform changes dictated to them by Nike. The "pro combat" is a new MATERIAL used by Nike in making jerseys. They used those crazy designs you've been seeing in the collegiate ranks as a marketing ploy to get the word out there about the new jerseys. FSU wore the pro combat "style" for one game, and that was it. As far as i know, we're getting the pro combat material jerseys just in our regular unis. Pro Combat is the material/apparel/clothing line. It does NOT mean new color schemes, new designs, etc.
  11. Nothing we can do but win tonight. Take it 1 game at a time. Step 1 is tying washington in the standings with a win tonight.
  12. Glenn played OT at georgia, just not his entire career. He played Ot for a handful of games his sophomore year, and then played OT in his senior season.
  13. +1 I've been saying this for weeks, but there are still mouth breathers out there that think Nike is going to completely overhaul and redesign half the league's jerseys. They're not. Much like the NHL, there will be a few minor changes (with the exception of seattle apparently)
  14. Ground up and in the freezer?
  15. Agreed. Me and a buddy went in with $10, and out of the 10 sets of numbers, we hit 3 or 4 numbers total.
  16. Based on the fact that Coples is a one year wonder and lazy, he won't be the BPA (according to the Bills). Buddy values players that are long time collegiate starters, team captains, etc, and hates one-year wonders. Even if the mock draft morons experts deem Coples as BPA, the Bills won't. He'll be lower on our board for the reasons listed above.
  17. He never pulled the gun on his dad. We don't need to re-hash all those threads.
  18. I'd also like to add that there's very little difference between TwoBillsDrive and #BillsMafia on twitter. Its a way for groups of fans around the world to identify with their team. By using the #Billsmafia tag, i've had twitter conversations with Arthur Moats, David Nelson, Nick Barnett, and AJ Williams.
  19. The Billsmafia banner has absolutely NOTHING to do with hip-hop or the rap culture. None. Nada. Zippo. It's a group of fans supporting the team, under a banner that the fans and players absolutely love. If you cant understand this, then there's no helping you. Dr. Dareus said it best.
  20. While i don't advocate taking him at #10, there were plenty of people who knew all about luke kuechly prior to last week. He's been a strong force in college football for a couple fo years now.
  21. The only reason i didn't think Ngata was a slam dunk was because i thought the Bills might take Bunkley. But DT was the slam dunk sure-fire pick at #8, until that moronic waste of space gutless coach dick jauron had to "outsmart" everyone on draft day. I did hate maybin from the get go when i started looking at some stuff for the 2009 draft. Never wanted him picked, i was hoping for orakpo.
  22. Pizza delivery guy left peters' 5th pie in the car and drove off.
  23. Given how well that fat piece of crap stayed in shape during his holdout, the Iggles should expect him to show up at 2013 OTA pushing 500 lbs. With him on the shelf, now's a good time to buy stock in taco bell and cheetos.
  24. Are you 12? I certainly hope so. It would explain so much.
  25. Excellent post. I heard a radio interview a few years back with Bill Polian where he said the same thing. He stated that the only place players shoot up or down draft boards (by a few rounds) are in the minds of "mock drafters." He said that NFL teams have their board pretty well set, and things like pro days, the combine, etc might cause a player to move up or down a few spots, but no more. Teams have a good gauge on players. there's no extreme "jumps" on the draft board for NFL teams. Just because fans and idiot mock drafters never heard of some one until january or february of their senior season doesn't mean that the NFL types havent been scouting them for a long time.
