Just made the call myself. I've been with them 5 years. Spoke to customer retention and told him i was concerned about both the cost of the ticket and the cost of my monthly bill. I was able to get a few dollars off for being an "early subscriber" and then a $10 bill credit for a year. All in all i got the ticket this season for $75. They also let me split payment of the ticket over 6 months instead of the usual 5.

I see Price is going to adopt his sister's kids. While a noble move, God help one of them if they take his seat at the dinner table.

Brian Price is a 2 year vet who hasn't done **** in the NFL except for getting injured. He's got no place to tell a rookie anything.

Funny part is that even after 2 seasons, Brian Price has made as many plays in the NFL as Mark Barron has.

I agree with you, but Rypien and Brad Johnson fall into a 3rd category of super bowl winning QBs...guys that aren't great, but had a great season that was used by their teams to propel them to a SB win. I feel Fitz falls into that category. He may never be great, but he's shows flashes of brilliance where its not impossible for him to go on a run, play a great season or latter 2/3rds of a season, and propel the Bills very far into the playoffs.

Brad Johnson had a pro-bowl caliber season in 2002. He'd a huge reason why the Buccs finally won it all.

If Stevie wants to get fined, that's his own prerogative. As long as he's not getting penalized, he's not hurting the team. And he wasn't penalized for the first t-shirt celebration.

Stevei tweeted that he was working on some new TD dances, but he also mentioned that they are of the "legal" variety. As mentioned earlier, Victor Cruz dances every time he scores and never gets penalized. Stevie should be allowed ot do the same, provided he follows the rules. The cap is going to make an astronomical jump very soon. When the new TV deal kicks in, the cap will go up towards the 140-150 million range, not the $120 like it has been the past 2 seasons.

Chan has flat out said that keeping a QB on the practice squad is essentially worthless because they don't receive any reps. Fitzy goes with the #1's, and B. Smith runs the scout team. If there is any "developmental" QB that we keep, it'll be Vince Young.

There is a load of evidence supporting evolution, and absolutely none supporting the existence of adam and eve.

Wow. I've never seen anyone completely stonewalled by DirecTV like that. I've only been with them 5 years, and each of the last 3 i've called and bitched about my bill and gotten things for free, be it free movie channels, a bill credit, or free sunday ticket (last year). Did you tell them you'd like to expand your service, or just threaten to cancel your existing?

DirecTV is currently $6 per receiver and $8 a month for DVR service. (i have the plan that you mentioned above) They'll give you a credit for $6 a month for a "free" receiver. I'm shocked that they won't give you any deals, especially if you're willing to sign a 2 year contract with them. if you're going to sign on, they'll usually give you all kinds of free stuff.

P1 - WR - by far the biggest hole in our offense is a second starting WR. P2 - DE - Can never have enough rotational guys, plus kelsay and Anderson aren't the youngest guys around. Snagging another good DE (Werner or Jenkins ) to add to the rotation should strongly be considered. P3 - S - Byrd's current status is that he's a FA next offseason, and Wilson is solid but over 30.
