  1. Yup, versatility is such a bad thing to have. Who would ever want a player that can play both safety positions and CB? And the switch to FS had less to do with donte and a whole lot more to do with who is starting alongside him. Whitner/Scott is a much stronger Safety combo than Whitner/Simpson or Whitner/Wilson.
  2. I'd take Thigpen in a heartbeat. the front office wont have it because there's a realistic chance he outplays trentative. Say what you want, but in 11 starts and 14 games last season, Thigpen threw as many TDs as trentative has in his career, 18. I'll take a few more INTs if it means putting the ball in the endzone more often.
  3. I watched a game on it last year with the weekly pass (i had missed the denver game). I didn't have any problems with it. Video quality was good, minimal buffering issues, etc. Last season the games weren't posted until 24 hours after completion but it looks as if they've changed that. For $40 bucks i may sign up in the event i need to miss a handful of games.
  4. I'm with the side that thinks coordinators should be given a stronger look for HOF status. Not all of them, but there have been some true game changers. In recent memory (so to not exclude any of the real good 60s/70s/80s coordinators i may not be familiar with), i'd suggest guys like LeBeau, Monte Kiffin, and the late Jim Johnson should all be under consideration for what they've introduced on the defensive side of the ball.
  5. Whats so creepy about Porks' word?
  6. And no one cares how good or bad Ngata is, because Haloti Ngata is irrelevant to this discussion. KD in CT was being sarcastic, btw.
  7. The so-called "counter boycott" might actually work, considering there is a high degree of overlap between your typical beck listener and your typical wal-mart shopper.
  8. If cash for codgers got implemented, Stuckincincy's wife would be a billionaire.
  9. Then your problem lies with the front office. Please explain to me why we should hate on Donte Whitner because the Bills didn't draft Haloti Ngata.
  10. Explain to me what Haloti Ngata has to do with Donte Whitner. If you can manage that, please explain to me how the Bills and the Ravens run similar systems and have similar talent levels.
  11. Absolutely nothing, seeing how your average CB could put bolt on his ass with a simple hand check at the LOS.
  12. I suppose so. Chicken wire would probably be the cheapest. Probably should put a gate in there somewhere in case you ever want to get the motorcycle out of the enclosure. I dont know how well an invisible fence would work on a motorcycle or car.
  13. Obviously you have to be anti-whitner. It is, after all, HIS fault that the Bills selected him at #8. And actual play on the field doesnt matter, only draft slot. Who cares if he's a good safety. If he isn't the best in the league, we should cut him because you need the best when drafting at #8.
  14. Nutjob didn't even bother to read the drivel he is citing. All of his "numbers" are simply from a possible scenario. Douche Drane apparently failed to see the 2 dozen different times where the document mentioned that numbers printed were NOT PREDICTIVE, but simply a test scenario. Also, the little "government seizure of property and freedoms." Sure it's mentioned, but of course its only mentioned in the small section where they play the "what if this is the worst pandemic the world has ever seen" game. The odds are more likely that whacko will be arrested (for shooting some random person who he thinks is there to "give him the vaccine" and take his stockpiled top ramen and dinty moore) and put in the nut house before any type of banking holiday occurs.
  15. Yup. I'm not saying bomb it down the field 8 times a game either, but at some point you have to put the ball more than 15 yards down the field in the air. Make the safeties think twice about cheating up when Evans is out there. Unfortunately, dick has beat it into trent that on 3rd and 10, a 4 yard pass and a punt is better than trying to get the first down and possibly failing.
  16. Then tell Trent to grow a set at some point and put the ball downfield. Trent got his panties in a bunch because Sullivan is right. (as much as it pains me to say so)
  17. Actually, while we're thinking wishfully, i'd toss a bunch of cash at McNeill, Move Bell to RT and say goodbye to walker's slow, overpaid ass. Then in 2010 you have McNeil - Levitre - Hangy - Wood - Bell
  18. Wait a minute...So Gruden doesn't get credit for taking a team that a former coach (Dungy) built to the super bowl, but Callahan does get credit for taking a team that a former coach built (gruden) to the super bowl? Gruden built the Raiders and Callahan took them to the super bowl - callahan gets credit Dungy built the Buccs and Gruden took them to the super bowl - dungy gets credit? methinks you have something against jon gruden.
  19. I'd recommend using a car or a truck. They are good for vehicling inside. Try to avoid a motorcycle.
  20. I'd say to leave the starters in until the starting offense scores a TD, but they may be on the field until tuesday.
  21. I actually think raginulds original point was that anyone who stands 6'2" tall and weighs 250 lbs could produce as well as Maybin on the field, since they were the same size. I could be wrong tho. I need to re-check the internets.
  22. We've had this discussion before roginild. You're wrong. source - internetz
  23. Erin Esurance > MILF mom on incredibles > Kim Possible
  24. Actually, that wasn't a shot at Hamdan at all. I'd rather see Hamdan at #2 if/when Edwards gets hurt. I'm stating that Fitzpatrick should be no higher on any depth chart than 3rd string. The guy is garbage.
