  1. Understandable...I'm that way about sandler now. I haven't laughed at anything he's done in a while.
  2. I was watching Talladega nights a few days ago and the scene where he and Sacha B.C were outside...screw it, this scene ...came on. I don't know why, but the part starting at the 1:15 mark makes me self-shart every time.
  3. I know that a lot of people have tired of Will Farrell's schtick, but I will pretty much watch anything that guy does. I don't know what it is, I just connect with his humor...always have.
  4. Wow, beautiful animal
  5. Stevie was on there not long ago...he was actually in studio and offered some good takes. Seems like it's been since the TKO days that we were on there often, though...then again, there are 32 teams...and I sort of like it when nobody sees us comin'. Of course, nobody has seen us coming for like a decade, so I guess not much risk there...but you know what I mean.
  6. This looks like a very interesting month for movies...thanks Mark! I may make a couple trips to the theater. Really hoping that the Total Recall film is not a carbon copy of the last one. I agree with juror about the Bourne film...I'm certain I'll see that at the theater and I'm psyched that Renner got the gig. I recently read a Matt Damon interview where he indicated he was open to a return to the franchise in the future, so having both of them kicking some ass would be pretty cool.
  7. I don't want to go with an unknown commodity at kicker right now, so I agree. Lindell has served us well and should stay another season. Mike said: " Aaron Williams was my star of the day. Sure, he’s gotten a lot of bad press, but I think he may be starting to turn the corner." What bad press? I must have missed that.
  8. I almost rented that the other night...was it a pretty good film? Seems to have received very solid reviews.
  9. If we're talking recently, the band I've listened to most is GnR. I finally found headphones that made my GnR Live album sound absolutely amazing...speakers never quite got me there for some reason...might be the way it was recorded, I dunno. But my Grado PS500 headphones and Meier Audio amp allow this album to really shine. The artist I listen to most is Amos Lee.
  10. "Just because you shoot Jesse James...doesn't make you Jesse James" -Mike loved that line What Mike doesn't realize, however, is that while Walt may not be Jesse James, he MAY be Genghis Khan (or at least a honey badger)
  11. I guess the reason why he doesn't bother me is because he's sort of the anti-walt. He's like the innocent, good-hearted, calm-in-nature polar opposite of Big W. I love the contrast between them when they have scenes together, such as the one this last episode where they were watching Scarface. I also like the scenes where we're sort of "in on it" with Walt, and the other character(s) just have no clue...it's like being privy to a really big secret and enjoying being one of the very few who know what it is. I have to admit, though, the way some of you guys phrase your dislike for him makes me piss myself.
  12. Lana Wachowski's long lost cousins http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4122944961711350389
  13. That's a disgrace.
  14. I would never take such enjoyment seeing someone in real life going through that, of course, but I can't help it...from a character/entertainment standpoint, I love what Gilligan is doing with her this season
  15. So do you guys think Skylar is freaked because some strange guy named Heisenberg has moved into her home? I think Gilligan must like me considering how he's written Skylar so far...just a couple brief minutes of her mental breakdown each episode so far...then back to the real stars of the show. I dig it
  16. Looks amazing...but after a 5 min trailer it feels like I just watched the entire film.
  17. Wow, that must be a great feeling!! Way to go brother!!!
  18. Always enjoy reading your posts, my friend...I agree about the wear and tear on Batman...I think that's why I loved these films, cause you see his humanity. It's totally unbelievable to see George Clooney jumping off the walls and doing back flips on iced-over surfaces like that nonsense previously. I love that Bruce Wayne was just devastated emotionally d/t the death of Rachel, bearing the burden of taking one for the team (i.e. Gotham), and on top of that the guy's got no cartilage in his knees and walks with a cane. I think it makes for a character you can connect with on a deeper level than Batman George. I've thought about what people have said about Bane and how he ended up just being some pawn for Talia/Raz...but I just don't see it that way. Again, Nolan doesn't allow take the easy way out and just allow Bane to exist as some cerebral monster. He treats him with more respect than that and gives him more depth. I dunno, I really thought that once the initial excitement wore off and I started contemplating some of the criticisms that my thoughts on the film would change, but I stand by my view of it. I think it's an excellent film and edges out the last one by just a hair.
  19. I know that feeling well...very hard to find an acceptable stopping point
  20. That scene reminded me of the one in Heat when DeNiro and Pacino are sitting across from each other hashing it out, both knowing that a storm is-a-brewin'. Glad you're all caught up!
  21. I agree, that's got to be an awful feeling.
