This is a bit of a tangent, but speaking of opening cards with SS numbers... When I lived in Rochester, the D&C newspaper had an article about a certain batch of SS numbers that were purposely never assigned...they were effectively just blanks and were often used in movies the same way the "555-XXXX' numbers were always used since there was no risk of it being anyone's actual phone number. Well, I shared this article with a friend of mine, and a short time later he got the bright idea to actually try to use one of them to get a phone line. His credit was awful and could never get approved for anything, so he invented an alias and attached one of these SS numbers to it. Sure enough, it worked. He used that for a few years until he stopped paying the bills... Anyway, back to crazy Chad.

I agree. Not much he could have done about a cardiac issue. And no sense cutting ties with the guy until it's clear one way or the other what we have in him. By the way, I'm glad you guys got D.Howard...I was really getting sick of his nonsense, so might as well stick him with the rest of the losers on your team LOL.

I know, right? I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt that way after watching it...he's really on the verge of a break...something not right with that guy.

I have a similar story, but with Cinderella's "Don't Know What You Got (til it's gone)" instead of Winger. My buddy and his girl went upstairs and left me alone with "the friend". Before they went upstairs, they put the CD players on "repeat"...the rest is history

It's really interesting to go back and watch those from an adult perspective. I was in my teens when the show was on the first time around, so kinda fun to rediscover it.

Im with you on the Seahawks...I honestly haven't really cared about that team at all since the Boz was there...but they have a very interesting collection of players. Flynn looked pretty solid, and RW seemed to have unbelievable command of the offense...he just had that one (big) brain fart with the pick in the endzone. That division is very interesting now...San Fran could end up being a true powerhouse, as well. I love that the NFL has scheduled games Thurs through Mon this week...five straight days of live preseason ball is pretty damn cool for those of us who love the NFL in general.

Yep, it's almost better to just enjoy the memories...no tellin what sort of damage a plate might do at this point

It's not on Netflix yet, but I just saw a movie that was entertaining as hell....Mel Gibson's "Get the Gringo". I don't know why this didn't get wider exposure, but it's a great ride. I just used a rental coupon and streamed it off Amazon...really worth a viewing.

Seeing him on Hard Knocks last night (replay), he really comes off as if he's a bit unstable in the head. Love the combination of humor and hard work, but I worry about the guy. If he gets cut, I think he may go b.harami.

I wish Trent the best, but glad he's gone. The guy who looked good to me was Foles. I didn't know a thing about him prior to the draft, but just before draft day I heard that he was one QB the Bills were high on. I watched him a bit the other night and he's got a cannon for an arm. There are actually a few mid to late rd QBs who are in the league as 2nd, 3rd string right now that we should keep our eyes on. I know we tried to sneak G.Harrell away from the Pack last year, but there are probably a good four or five potential back-ups who may look interesting to us if Fitz doesn't get it done.

My dad had moved us all around the country growing up, so I was not always just the pudgy kid, but also the one who had the fewest number of bonds with my classmates. I moved to Rochester before the 8th grade, and we finally put down some roots so by the time I hit junior and senior year I really had developed some solid relationships. It was also the time when I shed my baby fat, became one of the "jocks", got some attention from the ladies, and started to spread my wings a bit. So some of these songs reflect the way I started really allowing myself to realistically feel the potential for some romance, and also the point where I finally sort of developed a comfort level in my own skin and began to gain some status in the eyes of others. Hated fresh/soph years, but end of Jr and all of senior year were some great times.
