  1. Just being sarcastic I'm a huge JJ fan. You should read the spoiler!
  2. I am fascinated by stuff like that...I saw some youtube video recently (may have even been in this thread...too lazy to look back) where a friggin squirrel was adopted by a domestic cat, and now the thing is a pet and seems to think it's one of the gang...even displying some kitty tendencies. Animals are pretty interesting little creatures.
  3. What are you disagreeing with? That he shouldn't be Director of Twitter Operations?
  4. It's been somewhat amusing reading some of the comments about how Shane is likely into dudes, and tonight on the feeds he pretty much made an "oopsie". Joe, Danielle, and Shane were in the HOH talking about sex and past relationships. The discussion covered everything from cheating, to cold water shrinkage, to Danielle's UTI issue from sex, to condoms. When it turned to condoms, they started getting a bit specific about what they liked best and least about them, when Shane says, "one thing I really hate is when it breaks while it's inside me"....as soon as he said it, he goes, "ummm, I don't mean INSIDE me, errrr...." LOL This comes on the heels of Danielle being in the HoH bed with Shane the other night when she was trying to get him to feel/massage her back and her butt, and Shane was so far to the side of the bed trying to get away from her that he nearly ended up on the ground. The whole thing has been pretty comical, cause apparently Wil was giving him a hard time for not coming out....his life would probably be a lot easier if he would, cause Danielle is REALLY into him....far more than you'd know by just watching the shows each week...and Shane is having to make up all sorts of excuses to keep her at arms length. Apparently he told Boogie how he often has homosexual men messaging him on his online dating profile, and from time to time he will accept a plane ticket to literally go to their houses and stay with them. The whole thing is just really weird.... Aside from that, there has been a lot of drama the last couple of days since Boogie and Frank were nominated on Sunday. Some heated moments among the houseguests, and even some possible changing of loyalties....this will be an interesting week in the BB house!
  5. I noticed Dareus doing that in the first preseason game, as well...these two are pure brutes...Mario and Anderson are SOOO set up for success here it's not even funny. If we can get some solid CB play from our starters, I'd love to see us cheat up a safety more often than not. I really think Ron Brooks may be the key to that....he has been like industrial adhesive so far....I like Williams a lot, but I'd almost rather go with Brooks and Gilmore as our starters.
  6. LOL I already can't wait for this show...I love survivor threads on TBD
  7. I know, right? I feel silly for being critical of this show now. BTW, Super 8 on netflix streaming now...nice opportunity for a second viewing! Also, looking forward to JJ's new tv show this Fall...he has a knack for developing products that really pique my interest! Oh, and have you ever tried to get JJ to consider focusing most of his efforts on the last two minutes of the season finale as a way to take his work up a notch? This is two seasons in a row that Spielberg has been able to do this with Falling Skies. I really like JJ's work, but by my scorecard it's Spielberg 2, JJ 0.
  8. Super 8 just hit netflix streaming...I may give this one a second viewing.
  9. I've always loved Phyllis Diller She was the queen of self-deprecating humor, and I loved her for that...very smart, very creative...feels like she's been there my entire life since I remember her from back in the 70s when I was really young. RIP, Phyllis! You'll be missed!
  10. I was pretty excited to find it, too
  11. Interesting.
  12. Oh, yeah, that works...thanks. I have to admit, I was pretty close to throwing in the towel, but the last two minutes of the season really has me fired up for next year. I don't know if it's true, but I was pretty excited when I read this from JoBlo.com: "...many fans were caught off guard by the notion that the skidders were, in fact, enslaved by the overlord aliens, and this has led to much excitement for future episodes. JoBlo.com has learned (spoilers ahead!) that the plot thickens considerably for season three, with the reveal of an alien partnership that may prove to be too much for our newly formed Charleston contingent to overcome. For those who dare, click the following link for a possible hint of what may be looming in season three!"
  13. Wow...well maybe instead of cutting him, Whaley and Nix should give him a job and have him send an endless stream of tweets to Calvin Johnson, Drew Brees, Adrian Petersen, and Darelle Revis. Director of Twitter Operations?
  14. tgreg, that link doesn't work for me...I get a "referral denied" message (?)
  15. I've seen a few posts online from people who claim to be educated in chemistry say that the yield on the process for Walt to synthesize his own methylamine would be far lower than what it would be if he had access to large, heavy industrial equipment to work with. Thus the amount of chemical he would have to obtain to make his own would be to the point where it just wasn't as feasible as stealing it in its ready form.
  16. "come on, clap your hands! I thought you people were supposed to have rhythm?"
  17. Definitely...I love that he's like that, too...Heisenberg has no boundaries anymore...he's completely unpredictable and will go to any lengths to carry out his desires...Jesse really needs to gtfo
  18. Yep, he's becoming even more power hungry and irrational....can't wait to see where this goes!
  19. Of course! I just need to bleep out all the swearing.
  20. Wow, yeah, totally not even on my radar....thanks man! Hesher was a pretty good film where he was phenomenal. Killshot was an ok film, but one where he was still phenomenal. I highly recommend both for anyone wanting to get an up close look at just how versatile this kid is. I will easily include him in the conversation of the best character actors...he's probably sitting next to Phillip Seymour Hoffman as my two favorites.
  21. Absolutely...I love that we have films like this to watch...it's a shame that some people either wouldn't make it past the first half, or wouldn't give it a chance to begin with. It's pretty rare that I re-watch movies, so like you I wouldn't buy it either. There's just too much out there to see, I don't often prefer to re-watch something...unless it was just so dense and cerebral that a 2nd viewing can yield a greater understanding or greater enjoyment. I don't know if this is one that would typically make it on to your indy film list for the month, but at the very least it's a good example of why I appreciate that you take the time to do it.
  22. LOL! Wow, I LOVED that episode...friggin Heisenberg....I think it's pretty clear that Walter White no longer exists...he's pretty made the full transition by now. Jesse's approach was exactly the right one, but unfortunately "Mr White" is a lost cause...this is a very dangerous time for Jesse, because any fatherly type of overtures that Walt makes toward him are clearly for selfish reasons...that became clear tonight when Jesse "tried to take away the only thing Walt had left....the business". Jesse is a young guy with a chance to actually come out of this unscathed with a cool 5 mil to show for his efforts. If Heisenberg had ANY concern for Jesse at all..any OUNCE of care...he'd want Jesse to get out instead of layign the guilt trip down on him. Jesse needs to watch his back big time. LMAO@the dinner conversation...Jesse owned those few minutes...resorting to "scabby lasagna" in order to break the tension lol. Mike's gamble to brign Saul in to give them a 24 hr window has obviously blown up in their faces, courtesy of Heisenberg...if there was a need for even more reason to bail on this empire, it's the increased DEA heat that is about to come down on top of their heads. Seems clear to me that by the end of this mini-season, Hank will come face to face with the identity of Heisenberg... Bad things, man....baaaaaaad things!! Does anyone know if there is ANY chance of a full season 6? Or are these two mini-seasons definitley the end? I'm truly goign to hate saying goodbye to this show... Couldn't agree more....you could tell he was having a blast with that scene. I feel the exact same way. This show has climbed my all-time greatest charts pretty rapidly...I can easily say I've never seen a BETTER show than this in my 40 years...there are a couple others that can remain in the conversation, but it's impossible for me to say I've seen a better show than Breaking Bad.
  23. I may need to google that for myself....no idea who that is
  24. Same here...I didn't think he could do ANY of these roles he's gotten...hard to believe he was the kid from 3rd Rock.
  25. Watching 48hrs...guess who shows up in the first few mins playing a detective? That's right...our boy Mike! Pretty funny seeing him when he was that much younger...and with more hair...sorta.
