funny you should say that...

lol, that's the film I remembered it from, too. I honestly never knew who she was until a few years ago, but now I listen to her all the time. Her "Live at Blues Alley" album is fantastic, as are most of her others. It's really a shame she lost her life so young...what a beautiful voice.

Why is it always about you? Perhaps you could offer US some advice?

One of the best things about AJ Green is that he's got a solid work ethic. He'd be more like Charles Johnson than Randy Moss in that sense. He's not a huge diva who puts himself before the team. He doesn't take plays off, doesn't know the meaning of alligator arms, and will give you 100%. As much as I want to go D, I would not be upset if we picked this kid. He'd be the perfect type of WR for Fitzy.

Dave Wannstedt expected to talk to Bills

Ah okay, that's probably a good position for him -
1st Rnd Defensive Linemen in the playoffs

He is a very solid player, but suffered a knee injury last year...I expect that next year he'll be back to form. He has the potential to be pretty disruptive, though. -

Well, if we keep Edwards around, I sure hope we see improvement in 2011...unless Nix and Co go full retard on draft day, we should have more talent available on that side of the ball going into training camp. -

Didn't Dickballs Jauron get another job somewhere? I never even bothered to follow what happened to the guy when he left, I was just glad he was gone lol. But I'd much rather have him as a DC than a head coach, that's for sure. -

lol...of course, talent is vital. But did you really get the impression that this guy is any sort of a great defensive mind or anything close to that? Perry Fewell had the defense playing above their talent level, because he could game plan for the opponent, make adjustments, etc. I don't expect us to be able to bring in one of the elite defensive minds in the game like a Dick LeBeau, Belichick, Kiffin, etc...but we at least need someone who can use what we have to the best of their ability, and I don't think we really have that currently. We have it on offense with Gailey...now we need a strategist to coordinate the defense. -

George Edwards is in over his head. I don't trust his ability to properly scheme for an opponent at all. I'd love to see a guy like Wanny in here. -
Well, if we do happen to get a second tier player at #3, at least that's better than another Maybin/McCargo/Flowers type of miss, lol. But yeah, if we can actually pick a difference maker for our Dline, I think it will make a significant difference on the D. Kyle can't do it alone, although he sure gave it a hell of an effort.

Agreed. Any scheme you run will be crap unless you have play makers. Fairley is such a player. Thankfully, he's not the only one, though...so git'r'done, Buddy!

 hell and yes

If I have a guy on my team who can sack the QB, get five tackles for a loss, bring pressure on nearly every down by disrupting the bejeezus out of things, and make the other linemen better, I'm fine with him taking a few plays off here and there. If Carolina doesn't take this kid with the top pick, they're stupid. My preference has been Bowers, but I would love to pick up Fairley and let him loose on Tommy Brady twice every year. That guy was a frickin BEAST today.

As soon as Buzz reached out for their hands, my heart just sank and I got really emotional lol. I don't care if that's a man card violation...SUE me...I loved every minute of this film and I'm glad you guys felt the same way I loved that this film appealed to their audience that grew up with the franchise from years ago. Just really, really well done....bravo,Pixar -
Think I am gonna head to south Philly today....

Thing thing about Philly was that I could have a conversation about the local teams no matter where I was. My coworkers, the guy at the fast food window, a neighbor, etc...everyone was like a true community there and they were all together in their "fandom". It's such a huge contrast to down here, which is due in large part to the number of transplants. Philly doesn't have anywhere near the number of "outsiders" as we have here. And that's fine, I just hate it when people pretend that they were fans all along when in reality they're nothing more than front running bandwagon jumpers. That's partly why I wear my bills gear at work, in and on my car, at home, etc. I identify myself as a Bills fan no matter what, because I'm proud of my team. I get people commenting on it all the time at work, because I wear a pretty thick lanyard around my neck in Bills blue with my ID badge on it. If I had a dime for each time someone in the elevator commented on it, I'd be rich...but I love that. I will give give them credit for being true fans of college ball, though....GA dawg fans are some of the most loyal, passionate fans I've ever seen. I've become a huge fan of college football since I moved here, and I have to give them credit for instilling that interest in me. But also, just like Chickie and Pete's is one of the greatest sports bars on earth, there are also a ton of other great places in Philly that allow that sort of culture to be enjoyed by everyone. In ATL, there are a few nice places, but nowhere near the same experience, IMO. It may be because PA is my home state, I dunno....but I just love Philly...one day I will be back -

Well that would be huge then, cause I loved Unforgiven...if this one is in that league, I'll really enjoy it. Today would have been a good day for me to go, but we're actually snowed in down here in ATL...very weird feeling -

Man, I'm so jealous...I was there for the Rodney Peete/Ty Detmer/Bobby Hoying days, so I never got to experience Philly when the Eagles were in the playoffs. That's got to be a GREAT scene! Chickie and Pete's RULES...I only had the chance to go there once (I worked full time and went to school full time, even in the summers, so didn'thave a lot of free time), but Angelo Cataldi and some of the WIP guys would frequent there...good times! I see these bandwagon Falcons fans down here and it just makes me want to vomit...such a contrast to Philly...makes me miss it terribly PS: for those of you who aren't familiar with it, Chickie and Pete's is pretty much the best sports bar on earth
