  2. let's not bring Frida into this
  3. best not to encourage her...
  4. I must be over-tired today. I saw your post and then had an image of you putting out a fire by throwing a bunch of chickens on top of it. Weird.
  5. Same here. I was trained in APA format and that's always been my reference with regard to grammar and typing, and I think their most recent edition had that change, too. It did used to be two spaces, though, so I was taught as you were.
  6. don't hurt'em, hammer!
  7. lol, maybe Willis wants to be a co-sponsor?
  8. Beerball is probably in favor of this, too lol BTW, I think we had as many as 8 for one of our past TBD games, so hopefully we can do even better and get a multi-table tourney going That woudl be awesome...The cool thing is that once we get everyone into the club, it'll be much easier to just send out notices as to when we set the tourney dates for as opposed to having to try and round up people from scratch every time. This could really be a lot of fun!
  9. One criticism I heard about Newton on my local sports radio banter yesterday was that his offense at Auburn only requires him to make two reads prior to the snap. There was discussion that he may find it overwhelming to try and read NFL defenses and how this may be a huge factor in his readiness and/or potential.
  10. Nice! I think we should definitely set up a TBD Poker club then...do you guys have any suggestions for names?
  11. This is very cool from what I've read so far...we had a couple of TBD poker games in the past that were fun, but this takes it to a new level. Apparently it's a way to set up your own private poker club where only people you invite can take part. I would love to see if there is still interest out there to get another game going, because with this sort of set-up it would be much easier to keep it going over the long term. Also, I think it's possible to arrange for sit-and-go style tourneys instead of just cash games, in addition to a lot of other options, so this could really be cool. I'd be interersted to hear from you guys as to how much interest there is in maybe getting a TBD poker club fired up so that we can have a weekly/monthly game. Below is the link to some of the information about this feature: http://www.pokerstars.net/poker/home-games/
  12. You know how from time to time you have one of those beer experiences when it was so good that you remember the exact time, date, and circumstances? Well one night I went to Longhorns for dinner, and I ordered a mich ultra...the combination of the texas cheese fries and the steak with the cold, frosty beer was so damn good...I remember it like it was yesterday. I don't drink beer as often as I used to, but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis....oops, wait, wrong promotion.... Anyway, it was a very memorable brewski
  13. Glad you enjoyed them...I remember how taken aback I was in the theater during the second half of Ep.III...for anyone who has been on this ride since the very beginning back in the 70s, that was a pretty intense and emotional experience. I, too, feel that the backlash over the prequels was far too harsh. Anyone who expected them to live up to the original star wars and empire was fooling themselves...just wasn't going to happen.
  14. That's the most underrated beer on the planet...a nice, cold ultra from the tap in a frozen glass is some amazingly good **** For some reason, I'm feeling pressure to offer you advice about something
  15. Where do I know her from? Was she on a show at some point in the past?
  16. YES!!!!!!
  17. So what did you think of the prequels? I liked the first one better than most, found the second to have the least amt of "re-watch appeal", and the third to be the third best film of all the star wars films, behind the original (ep IV) and Empire (V). Can't wait to see 127 days. And I agree about Emile Hirsch...fantastic, underrated actor.
  18. I strongly advise you to reconsider
  19. I was afraid this had something to do with another one of his perverted fetishes.... carry on
  20. I saw it about two months ago, yep. I think I have a good enough sense of your ability to suspend disbelief and just enjoy movies for what they are, so if you can take that approach then you'll enjoy more than you would if you dissect the hell out of it. I think it's worth a screening, and they are smart to not make it longer than it is, but temper your expectations prior to seeing it. I'd also recommend watching it either late at night or at some point during the day/evening when it's very quiet and no distractions.
  21. Let's take it to DEFCON 3, Jboyst
  22. That's how I feel too. And the only reason I feel that way is because I live 45 min from Athens, GA and I have a comfort level with this kid's game. He's going to be a major star, IMO.
  23. Amen...if this guy continues to grow as a player, this may be the first jersey I buy in quite a while
  24. sounds like early-onset phoneheimers
  25. I like this guy better every day
