  1. DAMMIT Rico... Actually, I see what you're saying. I can't say I blame ya. Do you feel guilty enough about letting your TBD buddy down that you want to join our poker club to make up for your cold, heartless abandonment?
  2. Yeah, dead serious. And I felt the same way about JP. I wanted JP to succeed here as much or more than anyone, cause I loved the way he embraced B-lo, the fans, and the team. But yeah, I felt like RJ had a few games when he truly left it all out on the field. I felt like he gave a huge effort, he just wasn't good enough to get it done. I have fun at his expense like everyone from time to time, but I really did feel as if he gave a solid effort. Oh, you KNOW it, sexy!
  3. The written description is hilarious! I'm not going to name names (it wasn't Lana, just as a disclaimer...lol), but the person I saw this movie just didn't get the humor, and it was a pretty awkward experience for me. I really need to see it again, cause even though I've caught it in bits and pieces on cable since the theatrical release, I haven't really been able to fully appreciate it in a comfortable environment. A lot of the humor in this film was VERY witty, and I think it was lost on some folks. This was a VERY funny movie!
  4. RJ is an easy target, but he'll always have my respect. That guy wasn't a great QB, but he had a massive sack. His desire to win was huge, he just didn't have enough talent to get the job done. But I will always remember the effort the guy put in to try to help this team.
  5. Funny you say that...I'm drinking some Booty Sweat right now!!
  6. Just so you guys know, I'm giving Administrative powers to all TBD'ers who sign up. That way if there's ever a time when someoen wants to set up their own tourney and invite others, they won't need me to be around to approve the invites. This will also let you have a head's up match right away in case you're trying to resolve any disputes or anything lol. PS. If you lose and get mad, NO BANNING PEOPLE lol
  7. Here's a good show on Simon that was on that new Oprah network the other night... http://mjsbigblog.com/simon-cowell-talks-success-and-failure-on-oprahs-master-class.htm#more-51852
  8. I've been meaning to get one of those for quite a while....I may need to finally pull the trigger to buy one in Jack's honor
  9. That sounds like a blast...if I were still living there, I'd be at those games all the time. Is there a SEPTA stop right near the stadium?
  10. “I walked out of there feeling very comfortable and I just wanted to reiterate to them that I’m just coming on board to help any way I can with no other agenda other than jumping in like the rest of them to do whatever we can do to help improve our defense that’s what I’ll try to get done.” Sounds good to me, Wanny! This guy has coached for two of the three teams I have held absolute hatred for over the years. It's nice to know he's here to HELP us this time around... The more I think about it, the more I think this signing was very strong. Adding a veteran, successful mind to the defensive game planning can only help. If it were some young hot shot coach coming in here trying to lift his leg on every aspect of the decision making, that would be different. But when Wanny says he's just here to help and has no greater agenda, I tend to believe him.
  11. I really thought this guy was gonna out-live me, and I'm 38! RIP, Sir...
  12. God, I miss Philly lol So is that new stadium for the Union as cool in person as it looks in pics? I love the location they chose for it
  13. Well, won't be anything we have to worry about for the next film
  14. Just found out something pretty cool... The records and results of our club games all count toward the standings, whether we play with fake money or real money. So even in the free tourneys, there are bragging rights on the line! We've already got 7 signed up, and I know at least two others who will join in the near future, so there are almost enough members to fill a table....pretty cool! Hopefully a few months from now we'll be able to actually have multi-table tourneys...
  15. Cool man, I appreciate you chiming in The good news is that we'll get Simon back in a few months, so hopefully he'll be back to form on X-Factor like he was on Idol. It never really bothers me who goes to Hollywood, cause that week (HOllywood week) is usually my favorite part of the season. I really enjoy when all the Divas - both male and female - start arguing, everyone is fighting, and it's like one big circus event. I definitely agree that there have been no REALLY talented people yet...just a bunch of teens who can carry a tune is about the best we've seen. Hopefully there is better talent to be had, cause I saw some article a while ago where Nigel Lythgoe was saying how there are a few really good folks. He's typically a positive person, but I never really felt like he was the type to blow sunshine up our butts. I guess we'll see though. Glad you're sticking it out this season...I may need to send some men in dark suits and sunglasses to Rico's house in order to keep him participating.
  16. Black Dynamite was AWESOME!! "Keep it down, man....you're gon' wake up the rest of the bitches" Can't wait to see Machete
  17. It really is...it costs me more that that for ONE damn ticket to the movies lol. I'm going on nine years of being a satisfied Netflix customer and looking forward to the next nine!
  18. KD and WVU, you guys both have invites in your PM boxes This is awesome...we may actually get a full table! Just as a reminder, this first tourney is for PLAY MONEY, so it won't cost you a thing to join us... And any of you guys can feel free to invite any friends, family, etc...the more the merrier! Just share with them the same info that I sent you all, and they'll be able to sign up, too.
  19. Just sent an invite to your PM mailbox
  20. Nah, you can hit that, Stevie
  21. Galaxy Quest was great...the scene where they are attacked by those rocks had me rollin' Yeah, I hear ya. Not exactly a barrel of laughs lol. I didn't feel it lived up to all the hype, but I was probably more in the mood for that type of movie than you were lol. It's like the ASsassination of Jesse James...I know a lot of people who hated that film because it was too slow, whereas I absolutely loved it.
  22. Ishtar LOL...I can't remember the film at all, but I know there was one scene that made me laugh so hard that I almost passed out.
  23. I didn't understand that at all...I haven't lived back in Ra-cha-cha for a while now,but my understanding is that the Rhinos are VERY well supported. That would have been a great franchise for MLS...
  24. lol, is that one good? I have it in my queue
