Setting the High Standard for Humane Processing of Horses

Well, that was going to be the end result of me asking you if you knew anything about golf, but when you asked me how many home runs it takes to get a hole in one, I pretty much figured it was a lost cause -

I wonder if it's the same staff we've had for a while....if so, they're batting .333 Marcus Jones? Fail Baby Daddy McGahee? Pass Sam Cowart? Fail Shawne Merriman? ?

dang, jboyst lol -
Yep, they need to repeat the class on that one And feel free to bust away, bro...I think the things priests have done are atrocious, and there are many aspects of the church where they need to get their crap together. It's embarrassing and sickening to have some of that stuff going on...just no excuse for it

I love that show, man...I would love to go with those dudes on a lockdown one night...I would crap myself lol I'm not naive to the criminal acts of the church over the years, that's for sure. The fact of the matter is that there is a difference between the Catholic faith and the Catholic church. The Catholic church has been run by men, men who are sinners and at times evil. Similar men are still involved with the church today. But I consider that to be a testament to the evil nature of men, and not evidence that there is no God. Just my opinion. You guys mention this money thing, but I have yet to see a church that isn't interested or focused on collecting money. It's not possible to ignore the business aspect of a church these days, and the Catholics have not cornered the market on this practice. On the flip side, however, the Vatican (last I knew) was the single biggest charitable contributor on our planet earth and priests take a vow of poverty. So it sort of evens out lol.

I'm with you on the 3-D thing. The only film that I thought was really enhanced with the 3D was the recent Jackass film lol. I've seen Avatar both in 3D and 2D, and I just don't think you gain much with the former. I cannot WAIT to see True Grit... -
I can't see that link because of the filter here at work...am I duplicating a post or something?

http://insidetv.ew.com/2011/01/05/discovery-exorcist-files/ Okay, this has the potential to be one of the most interesting reality shows of all time. I'm Catholic myself, and this is something I take very seriously. While I think psychological illness is a confounding variable in truly discerning an actual possession, I do believe that this is a real thing and I'm fascinated by it. I am really surprised that the Vatican is actually going to allow access to exorcism documents and records, but I'm really glad that they are. Here is the most exciting news, as far as I'm concerned: "If the show’s first season is successful, the network hopes its partnership with the Church will pave the way for producers GoGo Luckey to take the series to the next level — joining Catholic investigators on live demon-purging ride-alongs." I know this is a controversial topic and I'm sure a lot of you skeptics will call BS, but that's cool by me. The debate over it is half the fun. I feel pretty strongly about which side of the issue I fall on, though, so I'm really interested in this show. What do you guys think??

Same here...it would be SO nice if Merriman was able to get healthy and productive again...would improve our defense immediately.

Is there anything the Chinese WON'T eat? -
Absolutely...and even though I know the most about UGA and USC (cocks), I have no real affiliation with any of the teams in this conference, so I can just enjoy the games week in and week out and not get overly stressed and frustrated like I do as a Bills fan lol. I have to say that I DO hate Bama, though, so I always enjoy seeing them lose. Nick Saban is Satan incarnate, and I love seeing him get all red and bothered when he is up at the podium defending a loss...half the time he blames the hometown Bama fans for not being supportive enough of the team lmao. What a douchebag.... But yeah, the quality of SEC ball is awesome, and I love seeing all these games

Exactly. Aside from Willis "baby daddy baby daddy baby daddy baby daddy" McGahee, who was a total tard, there are a LOT of players who come to realize how many positive aspects there are to playing for the Bills. It's pretty rare that someone is just dying to get out of here. Even now, you have Poz saying how much he wants to say...Florence saying that he's hoping to stay...etc. TKO loved it here, Bledsoe loved it here (at first lol), TO has had a lot of positive things to say, the list goes on and on. And having lived in Western NY for over ten years myself, I understand exactly why they feel this way. Maybe downtown B-lo is a bit of a hole, but that general area is a beautiful part of the country and there are a lot of really good people there. On top of that, the Ralph is always rockin', and we're one of the most passionate and loyal fan bases in all of sports. Good to see Merriman is enjoying the idea of sticking around

I honestly don't know...I don't know what he was seeing or not seeing. If this were an isolated incident, I wouldn't be so hard on the kid. But when I can basically predict how the game will end, based on what I've seen of him previously, then that pretty much tells me that in this one particularly player assessment, I have a decent feel for this kid's game. He can't win big games, plain and simple. You're exactly right that he didn't get the help from his team that he needed, but that was just a horrible decision to throw the ball into that coverage at that point in the game. He was in a 4-down situation with enough time on the clock to get all four downs snapped. Take the sack, throw it away, whatever....but don't rob yourself and your team of one or two more shots at the endzone by throwing a boneheaded interception. But it's not just this one game...I've been saying all season that this kid chokes in big games and/or against better opponents, cause that's what I see him doing. How much more evidence do we need that someone just can't get it done when it counts most? All the regular season stats in the world don't matter a hill of beans if you can't get it done in crunch time, IMO.
-
To your point, I'm on board with taking the kid some time AFTER the first round, for the exact reasons you cited. But no way is this kid a top 3, top 5, or top 10 pick in the draft. Pick him up later on, great...coach him up til ur blue in the face and maybe he turns into soemthing. I just do NOT want our #3 pick spent on this guy.
-
Not sure I am following you here. You are touted as a "top QB" in college, you get the ball back in the red zone with enough time to run a series of plays, down by 5 pts in the biggest game of your college career, I would expect anything other than a pick/choke. It's the same crap that Bledsoe pulled in the Steelers JV game a few years ago...winners find a way to win.
-
The dropped passes became irrelevant the minute Mallett had the ball in the red zone following the blocked punt. Mallett had an opportunity to lead his team to victory right there, and he choked (as expected). We've had enough chokers on this team over the years. Time to find some winners.
-
LOL!!! Bout time I was right about something lol... It goes without saying...but I'll pass on Mr. Mallett He should stay in school.
-
I hope so too (just in case we do draft him)...but what is far more likely is that Mallett will yet again tease the faithful, and then throw a killer pick-6 to end the game.

That throw was definitely big time...could he be mounting a comeback???

Yep, his receivers are taking their crappy play to a new level tonight.
