I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about the son, but then I realized they weren't exploiting his disability at all. He's written in just like any other character, and I love that. They do make some subtle hints at how they may take an extra precaution or two as parents, but the kid is just like any other part of the family. Totally agree about the nudity...c'mon AMC...ur cable...let's see some BOOBAGE!!!

I can tell just by watching the first ep of season 2 that this is going to be a great ride. I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys are talking about with AP really showcasing his abilities. The only character that I'm really annoyed with and could do without is Marie. Aside from her, I love all these characters and I think they way they have set everything up is very smart. I'm also hoping that Walt's coworker Claudia gets a little more screen time....hubba hubba!!

I completely forgot about the writer's strike...so glad that's over! I LOVE how there are so many good shows on channels like AMC, Bravo, A&E, etc, as opposed to the main networks. I've mentioned it a few times on the forums here that I'm just not one for scripted television. The only shows I typically watch are reality based and sports. But you guys helped me to make the decision to take a chance with 24, Lost, the Sopranos, Firefly, and now Breaking Bad, and I've really enjoyed each series. BTW, for anyone who is just starting season 2, it looks like AMC has season 2 being replayed this week after midnight. They are on like episode 4 or 5, so I downloaded the first 4 eps off Amazon last night and will DVR the rest...can't wait!

Well, I just finished Season 1, so this show definitely made the cut for me. I find Walt one of the most interesting characters I've come across in quite a while and I love the way the supporting cast is structured around him. There were three or four really memorable and, IMO, original scenes/sequences that will stick with me for a long time. I can't wait to download S2 from Amazon and get it started

I agree. I work in healthcare and am as sensitive to cognitive/physical disabilities as anyone else. But "retard" is slang, and it's obviously not meant to be an attack on people with actual disabilities. It is so unrelated to the "N" word that it's not even worth going into.

It will be good to see Simon in this element. There was apparently a LOT of behind the scenes crap going down during Idol season 8 and 9, so with that out of the way and with Simon in charge, it should be fun to see him get back to form

I agree, man...and that's another reason why I respect the heck out of Rob. Even though he's in really good shape heading into the home stretch, the guy is still busting his ass on these immunity challenges and giving it all he's got. I thought for sure Rob was going to fall over, too lol. That was a KILLER challenge!

I'm happy for Jen and Keisha, but that last leg of the race was LAME! All they did was run from check point to check point...you're exactly right that this was the first time I can remember where they didn't have to use their brains and memories to complete a recall challenge at the end. The way they did it this time was completely anticlimactic. Best reality show ever, IMO. Absolutely! I love seeing teams who take it all in and appreciate the fact that they are privileged to see so many amazing people and places around the world...as I've said before, the million would be a great bonus, but I can say with 100% certainty that if I ever ran this race the reward for me would certainly be the journey. All three of these teams were great sports and maintained appreciative, positive attitudes throughout the entire race. I really hope that Christina gets the chance to ditch her weirdo dad and run this race with the guy she marries from this show. That would be a great wedding present to them from Phil I'm really glad this show is on twice a year...I always miss it when it's not on, and I never seem to tire of it even a little. Really enjoyed interacting with all you guys during this season, too!

He's definitely got himself into an amazingly strong position. I don't remember anyone ever having THIS much cushion at this point in the season. He doesn't really have anyone gunning for him at all, especially since Phillip is pretty much relying on Rob being there in the finals against him so he can give his "speech". The girls just seem happy to be playing the game, and Grant hasn't made any aggressive moves against Rob as of yet either. It's almost like that first season when J.D. (or whatever his name was) literally went from start to finish without anyone really gunning for the guy. It was almost like they just gave him the million bucks, and that's not far off of what's going down this season. That's cool with me, though....rob is as deserving as anyone else to win it all.

Nene went from being one of the best things about this season to an absolute LOSER!! I can't believe she pulled that biatch move on her team and Trump. She had a great team to go to, but instead she turned into a huge coward and became one of the few losers who quit the show in haste. I'm glad Trump ripped her a new one during the first boardroom

I think it's definitely his game to lose at this point...nobody else is even on his level right now. Phillip seems to indicate that he's got a strategy in mind when it comes to his actions, but not sure he's really executing it as well as he thinks. But yeah, I think Rob will win the whole thing this time around

I wish that they could re-do the SW prequels, cause I actually thought Kenneth Branagh would have been PERFECT for Obi Wan. Not that Ewan did a bad job, but I think if you have Kenneth as Obi Wan and Joshua Jackson for Anakin, that would improve things quite a bit. But yeah, I agree about Branagh's pedigree. He's a top notch actor on stage and screen.

Just based on that short series of clips, I picture that kid lining up next to Poz in the middle as opposed to on the outside in the 3-4. Merriman - Batten - Poz - Moats...much better than last year

I enjoyed the first Transformers film, but was really let down by the second. I will admit, though, the trailers for the current film REALLY have my psyched to give it a chance. I'm also very excited to see Thor now, even though I was only lukewarm to it before. The reviews for it are REALLY good. Could be up there with Dark Knight, Iron Man, and Spidey 2 as one of the best superhero films to hit the big screen.

That just boggles my mind...I don't get it. I can only hope that someone else gets the Jacob vote (or whoever else gets kicked out next) and can overtake Scotty. I don't get why this kid is so popular... I really look forward to Durbin each week...this kid has a bright future, and that's great cause he seems like a really good dude. I'd much rather see Haley win than Scotty, that's for sure. And I agree about Lauren...she was SO damn confident back in the audition rounds...now she comes out each week like shes petrified. She needs to fix this QUICK, cause she's talented enough to win.
