  1. ok, you're forgiven then lol I totally agree about B-lo....I actually think that that's why I latched on to the Philly love so fast, cause they have that same passion and loyalty to their teams. But yeah, nothing compares to tailgating and hanging with my fellow Bills brothers and sisters at the Ralph on a cool/cold Autumn Sunday I'm extremely proud to be a Temple U graduate. My years there were some of the best of my life. I loved the diversity, the history, and the quality of education. It's a very underrated school, IMO
  2. I'm pretty sure they'll find that building the lines is more effective than building the WR position in terms of overall success.
  3. Mallett doesn't even have the strongest arm in this draft class
  4. This is the QB I know the least about, but I did like his interview yesterday. He seems to take things in stride and has the confidence to joke in a self-deprecating manner, yet also indicate how serious he is about being among the best to play the game. It's amazing how good of a position we're in with this #34 pick...please PLEASE don't blow it, guys...
  5. True, they legitimately could have taken over the game. It's a shame that women like Parvati are so rare on this show. That chick can strategize and manipulate like the best of em. Too often you have these coattail-riding females who do absolutely nothing but "serve their master". Then they get butt hurt when they're booted out, feeling betrayed, and they end up voting for someone non-deserving because of it. It takes away from the game, IMO. And I don't mean this to sound sexist, cause there are guy who do this too. But they like to cast really hot, sexy girls on here and I think a lot of them are more concerned with being as comfortable as possible than they are winning a million bucks. We need more Parvatis!!
  6. lol, awwww man
  7. Casey was really starting to entertain me...I don't know what America is thinking this year...Hailey or Jacob should have gone home this week. And FINALLY Scotty hits the bottom 3...I was so hoping it would be a Pia ptII and that monotone wanna-be-country-crooner would get the boot. Oh well....maybe next week.
  8. Yep, in a way, it's EXACTLY what the dumbass tribe did before the merge. They were just so content having Russell gone that they stopped playing the game. They seemingly completely lost sight of any sort of post-merge strategy, and as a result they got picked off one by one. As much as I'm loving seeing Rob have such control over the tribe, what are some of these people thinking?? You have GOT to make a move if you want to win! You can't just get content being in the main clique, cause as the numbers dwindle so do your chances of winning the game. Hell, even Sandra knew that! We need something to stir up some muck, and based on the preview for next week it sure seems like we're gonna get it
  9. Does this mean I'm off the hook for my "American Idol" and "Songs that Make You Feel Emotional" threads?
  10. I live in ATL and I can tell you that Dimitrov has done a FANTASTIC job of building this team. They did give up a lot tonight for this move to get Jones, but they could afford it. They have a nice group of young players on defense who will be that much better next year, and they have a nice foundation for the future. This could be a move that really helps them get over the hump of that first playoff game.
  11. Thanks, man I really enjoyed our conversations a year ago during the finals...was a really good final series I tell you what, I became a luke-warm fan of the Flyers back in the mid-90s during the Leion of Doom days. But when I moved there in '96, I really got into the team and the city. There are a lot of douchebag fans in Philly, no doubt about it. But it's so amazing and infectious how that ENTIRE city comes together with such passion for their teams. That's why I was so encouraging of Poojer when he moved there...even if those aren't teams you root for, it's SO much fun getting caught up in the local fervor. You've got some of the best pro teams in the country, in addition to a fantastic college environment. When I lived there I nearly lost sight of the music world entirely, because I had sports radio WIP 610 on all night and Comcast sports net (cable tv) on the rest of the time. It's just a great, great sports city
  12. Happy Bday, man!!
  13. I love those two clips where even Cam Newton couldn't out-Juke the big man!! WELCOME TO B-LO, BABY!!!
  14. Amen brother! I was praying Carolina would take Cam before our pick, and now I'm praying someone takes Mallett and sets their franchise back an entire decade
  15. Misery loves company, brother....glad to have you as a fellow Braves/Bills guy
  16. Russell and Phillip would have been classic! I think something is going down with redemption island, too...should be interesting!
  17. I'm definitely routing for the Celtics, too...should be a good series! I used to watch the Expos a lot growing up, so I can see why you liked them. I was a big fan of Gary Carter.
  18. If we draft this kid, I guarantee you he'll see the field his first year and will put up some numbers. He'd be the perfect change of pace from a guy like Fitzy. You could line him up in the slot, out wide, or even in the backfield. Then once in a while you let him take a snap or two and you have a legit passing threat, to boot. Gailey could turn this kid into a star.
  19. Unreal...when I saw the graphical breakdown of the tornadoes on the news last night, I truly freaked. I've never EVER seen anything like that, let alone be in the midst of it. Glad ur okay, man...I know exactly what you mean when you mention the frayed nerves. I went from being annoyed that they were interrupting my tv shows with weather updates to feeling completely unnerved that so many systems were heading at me at once. I honestly have never heard of a single tornado being a mile wide...that is absolutely horrifying. When I saw the pics coming in of the destruction, it really hit me. I had the mattress and some couch cushions ready to take into the bathtub on a moment's notice, and my dogs were really acting on edge. Thankfully the two systems that were headed right toward me missed above and below my apartment complex. And I'm with you on the prayers going out to those who were not as fortunate as we were...that death toll keeps rising
  20. Am I the only one who is starting to think Crazy Phillip really IS seeing visions of his native american grandfather?
  21. You know, I loved watching those Bird-led Celtics. Bird, McHale, Parrish, DJ, and Ainge...I grew up watching those guys and whenever they played the Magic - Kareem - Scott - Worthy - Rambis Lakers it was a BIG deal. It's too bad the NBA got so watered down and couldn't hold my interest, cause those were some really fun days to be interested in the sport. As it stands now, I keep tabs on my Sixers throughout the year but I don't really watch many reg season games at all. Then when the playoffs hit I watch nearly every night. Did you follow the Expos to Washington in terms of remaining a fan?
  22. Well, that wasn't much fun. Honest to God, I felt like we were being attacked last night, and I got off pretty easy compared to most. They are confirming that some of these ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY FUGGIN TORNADOES were over ONE MILE WIDE and hit the level of F-5. I live in North Georgia, and about 16 people were killed not far from where I live. On top of that, the number of injured is just off the charts. My heart goes out to those in Alabama....they got absolutely obliterated yesterday
  23. I saw the same thing, Dan. That's why I really like the kid...He's a great runner, but he doesn't look to run first....he sticks with the pass much longer than someone like Newton and Vick (when he first came out of college). He's made some SICK passes on the run, too. This is the one QB in the draft I'm most interested in...I'd love to see us grab him in the 4th.
