Well, I guess this doesn't surprise me, but the broadcast has been delayed yet another day or two due to the never ending controversy that is battlecam lol. Apparently one of the broadcasters wrote DirecTv and told them exactly what goes on at this site, so DTV is continuing their "test run" for another day or two. Alki said it will go live AND in HD this week, though. The good news is that apparently he has also reached agreement with Dish Network, so as soon as I confirm a channel I'll post it here since I know there are at least a few folks who want to see this train wreck in action lol.

It definitely has its moments...a lot of schmucks on there just farting around, but from time to time there is something really entertaining that goes down. It'll be interesting to see how things go when they're live to 20 million people.

Because he craps that bed against better teams. His W/L record against teams with winning records is awful, and he tends to choke in the big games. The Pats traded him to a team in their own division...what more do you need to know?

The men clearly should have won...those execs were morons. They don't like pirates? Please...Isn't the point of having a business to get PEOPLE to take interest in the PRODUCT? IIRC, the men had MANY more people congregating around their display and taking part in the activities than the women did. LaToya should have been out the door last night. Funniest part of the show for me was when LaToya was meeting with the construction guys. He's standing there waiting for her to give them an idea of what she wants, and she goes, "well...I'd like to have palm trees...and koala bears". The look on that dude's face after she said that was hilarious!

Just got confirmation from Alki....contracts were signed, and battlecam TV will be on DTV this Monday at 9pm PST/12am EST. Pretty sure the plan is for Alki to run some challenges the first night or two, so if any of you guys are up at that time and need some extra money, or if you want to see some others try to earn money by doing crazy things, check it out

Sure, be happy to... Battlecam is a site where people take turns camming up, and the audience votes either "like" or "poop" while they're on cam. As long as their likes are more than their poops, they stay on cam until that's no longer the case. The longer you stay on, the more points you accrue, which can then be used on prizes. Alki also will come on cam and issue challenges to people from time to time, which are usually more like dares. He typically pays out anywhere from $50-$400 per challenge, depending on how crazy it is. So far, the biggest challenge was to streak Obama, which one cammer did when the president was in Philadelphia last year. The prize was for $1 million dollars if done perfectly, and I think he got close to that amt. It was in the hundreds of thousands that Alki paid him. Aside from that, you have people on cam with various personalities that are often times entertaining. People who don't wish to be on cam but just watch may also participate via the chat feature. They can interact with the people who are on camera. That's it in a nutshell...it's hard to do the site justice by describing it, though....there has been some really crazy stuff on there at times. I think to date, 6 of the battlecammers have been arrested for various reasons. PS: As a point of interest, there is a Bills fan who cams up from time to time who goes by the name DJ Keemstar. I know there are a few others on here who visit battlecam.com once in a while, but the creator of the site - the "Eccentric Billionaire" Alki David - has signed a deal with DirecTV to broadcast all the battlecam craziness each night starting on or before Monday. The hours have yet to be determined, but it will either be 12 midnight to 3am eastern time, or 12 midnight to 3am Pacific time (3a-6a eastern). Testing was completed this week, and Alki said there is a chance the first broadcast will take place tomorrow, Friday 4/8. If that doesn't happen, it will be Monday 4/11 for sure. Watch at your own risk!

There's just no WAY this should have happened at this point. I thought she'd have trouble winning it all, but 9th?? I don't get it. She's one of the few Idol contestants I'll definitely have interest in following after the show, though, so I hope she has a really solid career in music. But the thought of watching the next 6 or 7 weeks of Idol without her SUCKS man...I looked forward to seeing Pia each week. Oh well.... I can't help but wonder if something is up with the voting, though. This is the first season they are allowing online voting, and there are always risks with that. I just can't believe Pia is the NINTH most popular Idol...Stefano was a frickin wild card for gosh sakes.

That's actually an interesting concept...you're basically saying that Rob could send Grant as a hitman, so to speak...knowing that Grant is a solid competitor and would likely have a good chance of re-entering the game. I like it

Well that was probably my favorite show of the season so far...I wasn't in the mood for Idol tonight for some reason...was kind of tired from work and just in a "blah" mood...but the show really changed that and I had no problem being entertained. I think it's time I just come out with it...I'm a James Durbin fan. This kid is a bit over his head in terms of his family life, being so young with a wife and child....but he stands up to his responsibilities and takes care of his business. In short, he just seems like a good-hearted kid and I dig that. As for his talent, he has done a GREAT job of taking the advice given to him since Idol started and the talent is just pouring out of him. His voice is LEGIT...he has a ton of range, and as he showed tonight he can really bring out some emotion in his performances. That George Harrison song was perfect for him...I really enjoyed his performance On the other hand, Jacob is really coming off like an arrogant a-hole, IMO. "If I end up in the bottom 3, it won't be because I didn't sing the song well...it'll be because America is too afraid to look at themselves in the mirror." Really, Jacob? WTF? lol Pia...wow, she's just awesome...I am smitten. Paul...I even thought THIS GUY did a great job! He should sing more Johnny Cash stuff, cause he KILLED it!.... Lauren: Not sure why her personality is going into its shell, but she still did well. She just doesn't seem to be having as much fun as she did in the beginning. Stefano: Not a bad job with one of my all-time favorite songs...I'm pretty sure he's headed for the bottom 3 though. Casey: Just like James, when this kid takes the time to actually SING, he really has a nice tonal quality to his voice...I thought this was his best performance, and I LOVE that CCR song. Scotty: He chose one of my favorite Elvis songs, and he did well...I still don't think this kid is any good lol Haley: She was lookin' hot, but I'm starting to lose interest. She's headed for bottom 3. Good show overall, I thought...I'm predicting the bottom 3 as Haley, Stefano, and Jacob. What do you guys think?

I could see John making it, but I really think Star will shoot herself in the foot. She is a very polarizing figure and there is a lot of tension brewing on that female team...but she's very sharp, so you may be exactly right.

Wow, I cannot BELIEVE that Matt ran his mouth like that...I was really happy for the kid when he won the last redemption challenge and got to rejoin the tribes...but FUX SAKE MAN...you don't go running your mouth like that! lol If he just would have told Rob he was loyal to their group and was ready to kick some butt, he would have been fine...but he just had to tell Rob EVERYTHING, so Rob basically had no choice but to get rid of the wild card. I was glad to see that there were actually signs of life on the dumbass tribe. For a minute there, I really thought Mike the former Iraqi vet was going to become the new mastermind. He had a great plan in place to make a huge move, but Matt left his balls on redemption island Looks like Rob still has a leadership position within his group, but that will change at some point....just a matter of when. All in all, another good episode. And I agree with James about the continuation of redemption island...I thought that was it, but to re-start it is brilliant! It will be REALLY interesting to see when they come back into the game this time...and the duels will be much more intense from here on out.

So who do you guys think are the top 3 contenders to win this season? My top 3 would be... 1) Nene 2) Lil John 3) Marlee Lil John has some mad skills...he's been very impressive, and I think Trump is taking notice.
