  1. America is retarded.
  2. Phillip would have run away with it this year
  3. What is WRONG with you two?
  4. Dude, you have truly lost your mind. "Getting to a conference championship game" often times means you win ONE playoff game that year. Getting to the Super Bowl means you WON the conference championship. Getting to the conference championship game means...squat. McNabb was a better athlete than Jimbo, but a better QB? The Eagles had one of the best defenses in the league during the "getting to the conference championship game" years. Their scoring defense in 2001-04 and 2008 was ranked 2nd, 2nd, 4th, 2nd, and 4th. Point being, he may not have had Pro Bowl wideouts to work with, but the teams he played on those years were very solid overall. Just like Bledsoe, McNabb put up all sorts of pretty numbers when it didnt' matter, but in big games he couldn't pull his own weight and was often THE reason for the loss. With the exception of the SB vs the Giants, we lost to teams in the SB that were clearly better. The '91 Skins, '92 Cowboys, and '93 Cowboys were three of the strongest teams in the history of the NFL. On top of that, free agency didn't begin until 1993, so we didn't have the benefit of playing in a league of parity like McNabb did. I really hope you're trolling us, because I cannot believe ANYONE would consider McNabb a better QB, let alone a Bills fan.
  5. One thing is certain...if there is other intelligent life in the universe, they have a little more respect and admiration for "The Beautiful Game" than you do, mister.
  6. I can't believe that dumbass voted for Leif last night...
  7. It's amazing to me just how much I hate Belichick and the Pats. Like everyone else, I hated the stinkin' Dolphins all throughout the mid and late 80s, all through the 90s, and into the 2000s...but for the most part I always respected them amidst the hatred. But I have no respect for the Pats at all...I hate everything about that team and I LOVED seeing them lose to the Giants both times. When Dan Marino was elected into the HOF, I enjoyed watching his acceptance speech and took a trip down memory lane...when Brady and Belichick are up there talking, I'm turning the channel.
  8. Interesting. Lombardi was talking about the team building strategies of Al Davis the other day, as well. I love learning about this sort of thing.
  9. Yep, I think you can definitely make a case for Warner. If not for an unbelievably clutch catch against the Steelers, he'd have two rings. I still can't believe they lost that game...
  10. I used to watch that when I got home from school back in the late 80s...Pyramid and then Geraldo lol. RIP, Dick...
  11. This. As fun as it is for people to make fun of our Super Bowl issues, winning four AFC titles, particularly in a row, was a huge accomplishment. As for Kurt Warner, his resume is far more impressive than Bledsoes and McNabb's, IMO. Two SB appearances with one team, including a SB win, and then took another team to the SB again late in his career. Has another QB ever taken two different teams to the SB?
  12. lol, that made me laugh too
  13. Eh...you've seen one, you've seen 'em all
  14. No way in hell he's a HOF'er.
  15. I've warmed to the idea of CB. Only because I feel we've done a great job with the line, and I think you can find LBs later in the draft, I'm cool with CB. The program building strategy that always made sense to me was building from the lines outward. Prior to our FA signings, CB made no sense to me at all. But now? I say pull the trigger on Gilmore.
  16. I'm with ya. One of my all-time favorite popcorn flicks.
  17. I agree. Whaley seems like he's on top of it...I hope he's with us for a long time.
  18. Holy crap, only one more week til the draft!! WOOHOO!!!
  19. Good point...I wonder if it might be a JJ Abrahms project? Tgreg, if JJ is involved, cough once for yes and twice for no.
  20. It's not a doctor-driven issue, it's primarily what the parents wish for their kid. Docs don't typically take the stance that it's something that is medically required or necessary and, last time I read something about the issue, the rate of circumcision was less now than it was 10 or 20 years ago. When i did my Peds rotation during my RN schooling, I have to admit that I was shocked at how traumatizing the procedure was. My privates were snug and comfy within my scrubs and far away from the MD's scalpel, but I remember those images and the babies horrifying screams like it was yesterday. Of all the stuff I've seen in my 11 years as an RN, that is close to the top of my list of one of the most traumatizing - to ME. If you've never seen it done, you might feel impacted one way or the other after seeing it done.
  21. He probably should take out a lawsuit against his parents in that case.
  22. I'm less concerned about whether we come into contact with aliens during my lifetime, and more concerned whether it will be during the lifetime of Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum.
  23. I love this show, but this is by far the worst group they have ever assembled. Instead of buffs, I think Jeff should have given them sheep costumes. They need to find a way to avoid choosing people who are simply "happy to be here". There are always a few players like that each season, but this season it's like half the group. The fact that only ONE of them wins is lost on a lot of these people. I agree with Rico about Troyzan being annoying as hell tonight, but I'd rather have annoying than mutton. Tarzan is so stupid I'm waiting for the time when he puts his own name on the parchment. Nice pic, btw...the one with Christina is shocking...I had no idea she had all that going on top...hubba hubba.
