NFLN is reporting Claibourne to Vikings
ajzepp replied to Toshiero's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The fact that we keep hearing that this guy or that guy may slide all the way to #10 is just further evidence that we should forget any notion of moving upward and just stay put where we are. The draft will fall to us and there will be a difference maker there for the taking. -
I'm pretty sure the Big Pooj will share in this a little bit with me now that he has had time to fully acclimate himself to the Philly sports culture...eh Pooj?

The fact that the apple cart even exists is just really weird. These girls had no idea the others ones even existed 30 days ago(in Survivor time), yet now it's like being betrayed by their best friend when they don't get to go on a picky-nicky or if someone makes them feel poopy.

lol, yep, that's exactly what's going to happen...not only are they completely clueless, but Kat actually wanted people to console her and REASSURE her of her cluelessness last night Probst loves this show...I can't wait to hear what he thinks about all this once it's over. He's gotta to his best to spin it for ratings while it's all going on, but he's usually pretty direct and honest on finale night so I'm eager to hear his comments.

I heard more idiot comments in tonights single episode than I've ever heard over the course of an entire season. I am at a complete loss as to how these people were chosen for this show. If Jeff has any integrity, he'll find a way to rig it so that there's a hung jury and immediately order a do-over. Do these women have ANY concept of how this game is played? Do they understand that only ONE person can win? Further, do they understand that the number "5" is bigger than the number "1"? These girls are cheering as if they all won the game tonight...they are clueless, and the minute the focus shifts to them, it's going to be even more embarrassing because they're going to act as if they never saw it coming. I think Russell Hantz must have challenged the producers of the show to see if they could put together a group of girls that would not only rival, but surpass, the "dumbass girl alliance" from a few seasons back. Unless your name is Kim or Chelsea, and POSSIBLY Alicia, Troy going home is the FINAL NAIL IN YOUR COFFINS lol. He gave you two chances to improve your odds in the game and have a much stronger chance of winning, but you're all too stupid to understand that. Now it's going to be what James said above...Kim will pick them off one by one by one. Game over. An alliance with Troyzan would have given you a fighting chance, but now that's gone. HOnestly, can someone who cries because she wasn't picked to go on a picnic really be taken seriously as a "sole survivor"? How bout someone who is asked if she minds her name written down a few times just in case Troyzan uses a hidden idol, and says "sure, no problem" I feel like we're all being punked here...it just boggles the mind.

Nice job raising that fugger, Beerball! You done good

LOL...awww....alright Can't blame me for tryin' though!

I will freely admit, when we were having a hard time nailing down a big name coach a few years ago, and especially after I saw that we settled for Chan, I was pretty pissed that we didn't just bring Billick in here. The guy was a sought after commodity when he was leaving Minnesota, and of course he got his ring while in B-more, I just felt that we should have pulled the trigger on the guy. In retrospect, I'm glad I wasn't making the calls, cause I see this guy on NFL Network quite often, and most of the time I find him to be a tool. I rarely see him say anything that is novel or clever, and quite frankly I feel like he's not really contributing much to the network overall. I have nothing against the guy, but I'm really glad the front office stayed away.

In my nearly 40 years, honest to God, that was the ONLY time in my life I was truly thankful that I wasn't a fan of a Buffalo sports team Thank you, brother! Okay, you're officially forgiven for the Kelly/McNabb thing Yes!!! Feel that Briere love...let it flow! Now say it with me...Giirrrrrrrouuuuuuuxxxxxxxx I can't wait til rd 2!!!!

Awwww, c'mon...that's what everyone on here says lol...be more original!

...is to come on aboard the FLYERS BANDWAGON!!! WOOOHOOO!!! Why hang out with Sidney on the golf course when you can continue to enjoy the 2011-12 NHL season by getting behind those Philadelphia Flyers! After all, Danny Briere bled the slug with you guys for a while, so if we're good enough for Briere, we're good enough for you

Casserly: Buffalo picks Tannehill

I'm not sure you're in any position to be making QB evaluations after what you said a few days ago (which I cannot bring myself to repeat!) -

No way we draft Tannehill. -
Shutting this place down would be akin to shutting down a coronary artery disease support group.

And Searcy

I'm glad Ryan's sticking around.

I agree, I thought Clay's was much better. And what's with this "You've Earned It" slogan being arrogant? That's absurd. Nobody just snaps their fingers and all of a sudden there it is - success! To be successful you have to use a little elbow grease and work at it. In other words, it's EARNED. Those execs are morons. That was a far better slogan than "use your instincts" or whatever...they only said it was good since Arsenio found a clip where Trump was quoted saying it.
-
You wanted to talk about something other than the draft, so you started a thread about how "Dan Marion" was on a morning talk show to talk about...the draft.
-
I can see us taking a CB at 10, but NOT a safety.
-
For a rookie who was a mid-round draft pick, I don't know how anyone could say he doesn't have the potential to be a starter. The kid was a heckuva solid pick up for us. We need to find one or two more Chris Hairstons THIS year.
-
Same here...I know others don't seem to care about backgrounds, but I do. One of the best things about being a Bills fan is that for the most part we've always had players that we can be proud of. We have a lot of good locker room guys who don't get arrested for DWIs, or felony gun possession, or spousal abuse, or whatever. Everyone is so desensitized with regard to criminal behavior nowadays, and I think that's a real problem.

Yep, especially given his crap attitude. That's one part of this race that really surprises me sometimes. I can't be 100% certain since I've never done it, but typically I'm the type of person who will not stop and complain and whine about a task, I'll keep trying and trying until I get the job done. Case in point, when I was learning how to catheterize a female, I must have stuck the clitoris like ten or eleven times until I got it right. I didn't go into the nurses station and whine and cry about how stupid the design of the female anatomy is...I went back to that vagina and kept at it until I hit pay dirt. Mark was about ready to keel over out in that sun but did you hear him whining? Hell no you didnt. Which reminds me, not very smart to keep pounding that water. He needed to have something with a little sugar and electrolytes, not straight water. He's lucky he didn't over-hydrate himself into an electrolyte imbalance. The Hillbillies are one of my favorite teams ever. Considering all the teams that were an embarrassment to Americans everywhere, these guys are everything that's right about America dammit. Neither of them sees color, they support each other like brothers, they're polite and respectful to the other teams and, more importantly, the people they come into contact with from the other countries. I think they might be a little too banged up to finish with the money, but I'm in their corner no matter what happens. Well done, boys!

It was great to see George...he always tells it like it is and seems like a good guy. I was bummed to see Penn go, too, but he just didn't really seem to have his heart in it. Clay's tail feathers have more plumage than ever before, but at least he's not backing down when he gets into spats with others...I like players who stir it up and keep it interesting. Speaking of which, looks like Lampinelli is going to go into whiny annoying mode again next week...I can't believe I'm saying that about her! For someone who rips the hell out of people on stage, she has very little backbone in real life. Almost seems a bit immature. Too bad... I hope they bring back some of the fired people for the final to help the last two compete...I want to see Corrolla redeem himself.
