  1. I know in a recent interview he was making the point that he was already used to huge linemen, but the analyst came back and pointed out that his accuracy numbers were significantly worse when he was throwing from the pocket. I dunno, I'm a big believer in "if they don't do it in college, they won't do it in the NFL"...so when you have someone this productive, I say give the kid a shot. I'd love to see what he can do if we can grab him with a later pick.
  2. Nah. He doesn't need to be fawning all over this chick. He needs to keep it cool and not come off like he's waiting around for the next time they get together. I think he's doing just fine.
  3. Haven't you ever heard the expression that "those who can't play, coach"?
  4. Forgot about "Once"...good call. I loved that movie and, of course, the music.
  5. ouch, brother...I feel ya...been there myself. lol, my xbox 360 got use initially, but ended up being my back-up Netflix streaming device maybe it's time for beer to upgrade to a tranny?
  6. Wow...that is very cool
  7. Last night I upgraded to 100meg internet service...it just got me thinking, what sorts of things have you guys purchased that you didn't really need, but just "because"? We can always debate want vs need, but I'm talking about things that you're not even really sure you'll ever use, but you bought it anyway.
  8. Stop it. You're scaring me.
  9. I enjoyed all three hours, and you're right, the boardrooms were pretty damn good. Lou has certainly come to play...he's probably my favorite person in the boardroom currently...he's always stirring it up. Arsenio was definitely being a jerk, and he didn't even need to be. Not only did they win, but he had plenty of basis for throwing her under the bus w/out being a dick. That being said, he did have the best line of the night. He said something like, "who is this person anyway? When I went to google her the first thing that came up was a naked girl with a gut" lmao Aubrey is an epic pain in the arse, but she's creatively one of the strongest players ever to be on this show...and there have been a LOT of really creative people. She's clearly got a lot of issues, and certainly not a team player, but I don't think she's going home anytime soon. She's great for the show. If only we still had Corolla around...
  10. This is like the third time this week where I've seen a tranny that I honestly would have had no idea about...I'm gonna have to pull a crocodile dundee next time I'm out on a date just for peace of mind.
  11. The Olinemen in front of him are equally of concern in terms of their height (and his ability to see down field).
  12. You're playing it right, man...nice job
  13. When you really sit down and ponder just how many injuries we sustained last year, it makes you feel pretty optimistic about the upcoming season. If we can have another solid draft, this team is in very good shape. We'll have a really nice mix of younger and veteran players, a little more depth than we've had in a long time, and some new additions who can help take us to another level. It's just nice that we can identify players from the team who might be deserving of being on this list...
  14. John Cena is having a rough couple of days... Welcome back, Brock!
  15. Weird seeing him with hair again...those were the days when it seemed like he was really having fun with it...he was great lol
  16. lol, that was very surreal to hear that
  17. I wish I would have seen more of him during the olympics...I had just returned to school FT in early '96 and was working FT at night, so I missed most of those games unfortunately. But yeah, I've heard others say exactly what you said...that he's one of the best amateur/Olympic wrestlers ever. I haven't seen him since he went to TNA, but there were many times when he had me rollin' with his character. The whole "three Is" gimmick was great...it's true...oh it's damn true.
  18. Totally agree. I have to give the crowd credit, cause being an outdoor stadium it wasn't always easy to hear the crowd reaction. I had hooked up some small speakers of good quality to help give it more of that live feel, and there were times when all 78k people were just going apesh*t. One of the most interesting aspects to the night was the John Cena response. I've been watching - either from a distance or up close - the WWE since I was about 10 years old, and I don't ever remember another wrestler where literally half the crowd loved them and half hated them. The closest examples I can think of were Flair, Piper and Savage...but typically they were black and white in terms of their good guy/bad guy status. But Cena has a lot of gray area to his persona, and I think it's hilarious how the crowd is pretty much split down the middle on the guy.
  19. He was doing that at least as far back as the mid to late 80s, cause I remember my buddy and I listening to his show and calling in a few times. I haven't paid as much attention to him over the last few years, but based on the stuff of his I've seen others post on TBD, it's time for Bob to call it a career. I wish the guy well.
  20. It's definitely pricey...if it was just me I would have found it online somewhere to satisfy my interest, but since there was a small group, one of whom was a huge wrestling fan (he even brought his replica belt and video game yesterday lol) I went ahead and dropped some green. I honestly would have loved to be there live...it was a very impressive scene I only saw clips from last year's match, but I heard that UT was physically unable to really complete the match. I figured maybe this year it would be the same, but honestly the guy looked much leaner and faster. He held up pretty well, especially given the intensity of the match. He looks long in the tooth, of course, but physically he was in about as good of shape as you could have expected...I was entertained by the match. There was one sequence where Shawn Michaels (referee) hit him with a kick to the face, and then as the UT was stumbling backward HHH went for his finisher....UT kicked out and the crowd went nuts. For a loosely choreographed form of entertainment, I have to give them credit for the way they allow you to suspend your disbelief at times. It was a cool sequence, I thought. I read an interview with McMahon once where he was talking about how much he loved legit athletes entering the WWE. Lesnar, Angle, and even a guy like Ron Simmons before them.
  21. According to www.wrestlinginc.com, Lesnar signed a one year contract with Vince McMahon last night and will be signed through Wrestlemania 29 in 2013. Tonight I decided to order the Wrestlemania PPV since I had some friends coming over, and I have to say it was a lot of fun. The scene in Miami (Dolphins Stadium) was pretty impressive and it brought back memories of the last time I saw a Wresltlemania live on PPV, which would have been back at WM IV. I can't believe it's been over 20 years...time flies! Anyway, Lesnar is not far removed from the height of his popularity, even though his UFC stint didn't go quite as well as he'd hoped. That being said, it was more successful than his time with the Vikings. This should be a pretty big boost for the WWE. PS. For those few who are wondering about tonight's main event, I would actually have to say it lived up to the hype. The Rock v. Cena match and the Undertaker v. Triple H were both pretty entertaining.
  22. Looks like Nicholas Cage's cross dressing brother.
  23. Maybe add a spot for Trojan rubbers just underneath it
  24. Jboyst, quit making up interviews and posting them as real...everyone knows nobody wants to play for Buffalo.
