  1. I guess I'm not as bothered by it as others...I can't even remember the last time I watched olympic soccer. Did soccer sleep with your mom? I don't remember you being this enthusiastic about your soccer hate.
  2. At least the thread got a bump
  3. It's not our USNMT...it's a youth team...the U-20 or U-23 team, if I'm not mistaken. Klinsmann isn't involved, it's a division I college coach.
  4. LOL! I don't think anyone else will get that reference, but it's one of my favorite movies of all time...
  5. As if I needed a reminder as to why I hate kickers...I hate when I open up a thread and the first SB is being discussed...now I won't be able to sleep
  6. One of my favorite parts of the show each week is when Trump says, "so _____, if you lose, who are you gonna bring back to the boardroom?" and Lou starts giving the PM the death stare lol.
  7. I am SHOCKED that the women lost that last night...I wanted the guys to win, but I didn't see any possible way that could have happened. That being said, I'm glad that one chick was booted...did she smile ONCE the entire show?? She's been miserable the entire time, has absolutely no personality, and takes things WAY too seriously. Why she was even chosen is beyond me...there are plenty of other hotter women who have at least some semblance of a personality. Nice job, Trumpster! Ivanka was looking SMOKIN hot last night.
  8. c'mon, Jboyst...hook us up!
  9. wow, i've literally never seen cows do anything except stand still and eat. Cool video! I dare say one or two of those heffers even looked...agile lol
  10. Are you tellin' me C.S. Lewis can't hit a curve ball?
  11. I usually take an opportunity like this to recommend "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis. This book changed my life. With all the "rah-rah" and "holier than thou" morons out there, it's a refreshing change to sink your teeth into a cerebral and intellectual approach to Christianity. Additionally, my favorite book of all time is Lewis' "A Grief Observed". It's basically a first person account of his grieving process when the woman he loved so passionately passes away. It's not very long, but you find yourself reading it pretty slowly because you need to sort of take it all in. He is able to articulate himself so well that you end up getting amazingly deep into his experience. It really moved me, and although it is quite intense and draining at times, it's very much worth it to take this journey with him.
  12. I would record you watching that with my iPhone and send the video to TMZ
  13. Tom only resorts to rocks once he runs out of monkey crap
  14. I totally agree. Back in 2002, I took my ex-wife to the Clay Aiken/Kelly Clarkson show...It was pretty good if you like that sort of thing (I admit I like both Clay and Kelly), and I was living vicariously through them while they performed. The place was just going nuts and I can't even fathom what a total rush that must be to have fans like that. If I were on Idol, making the tour would be good enough for me. Just to experience that once in your life is something most never get to do.
  15. Well I was sleeping through most of the show tonight...until the final two performances. Colton and Jessica gave two of the best performances I've seen on the show in quite a while. I loved both of them. Can we please get rid of Hilfiger? Does anyone really give a flying poop what these kids wear? Nobody listened to a damn thing he said except the girl who totally changed her hair. Everyone else pretty much told Tommy to shove it by not following his suggestions.
  16. My theory is that they are doing this intentionally to prevent tribe loyalties from becoming too strong. In recent seasons, the tribe with numbers going into the merge just started knocking off the other tribe one by one. This season they've mixed it up early and often. Men vs. Women on one beach/camp, then they send one tribe to the other beach, then they shuffle the tribes, now Colton goes down so they merge...just a LOT of change going on in a short time, and I think the end result is that there isn't one dominant force in the game right now. I could be totally wrong, but I think this was their game plan.
  17. It boggles my mind how many people don't know how to swim.
  18. good point about Rick...the guy always has the best interest of others in mind, yet the loyalty of the group seems to be waning. I'm glad he pretty said, "fuggit, you guys go ahead and go off on your own if you don't like the way I do things"...that could be viewed as a defense mechanism for the point you made about him becoming unstable. Lori has already proved that she'll spread her legs the minute Rick is out of the picture for a bit, and after this current lack of support for the Shane thing, it's clear why Rick might be about to crack. I feel the same way about Darryl and T-Dog, too...I'd love to see them get a little more screen time...they both make the show more interesting, they just need the writers to throw them a bigger bone from time to time.
  19. Is this the perfect time to have more cash on the way with the tv deal, or what? We FINALLY have some young players that we want to try to keep, and perhaps otherwise we would not have been able to do so. The money and cap increase will give us more flexibility than we would have had otherwise.
  20. lol...well, admittedly, I'm wrong more often than I'm right...but I keep comin' back to the table!
  21. I would love to see Kimmel on here...
  22. the armless dudes were creepy as hell
