  1. Woods grew up and played High School Football in Southern California. He was a College Superstar at the University of Southern California. So when the LA Rams of Southern California came calling with a massive contract, he wanted to go home. He wasn't unhappy in Buffalo. Wasn't a jerk here. Never said anything bad about the fans or the area. He's just a Southern Cali boy who had an opportunity to go back to Southern Cali. As a matter of fact, he had good things to say about Buffalo today:
  2. Gonna be a long one, but here's what I'm looking at: QB : Will be added late in FA. Just like last year, they'll go with who they think is the best available option when the QB carousel stops spinning and the starting jobs are filled. RB: We tried to fill this role with JD McKissic. So i'd expect a similar move. Either a FA like a Darrel Williams or a Jerick McKinnon type or a pick no higher than Round 3, more likely Round 4 or 5. They aren't going to bring in a guy to 50/50 share with Singletary or move him to the bench with his stock being the highest right now coming off him looking the best he ever has in the last few months of the season as the primary ball carrier. WR: A speedy option will be added in Round 1 or 2 of the Draft. Gabe Davis and Isaiah McKenzie have earned a promotion and increased reps. But you still need another stud to replace both Beasley and Sanders, especially with the number of 4 WR sets we run. I think we'll keep 6 instead of 7 this season and OJ Howard will see a much larger number of reps than Tommy Sweeney ever has. OL: This is interesting. I feel like if we can retain Ryan Bates, our Starting Line is set with Saffold replacing Daryl Williams. But the depth is shaky. We could sign a lower priced veteran Tackle late in FA they like and a 4th-5th Round Guard they like. But if they lose Bates, then we have to Draft someone for the Interior by Round 3 or sign a starter. I wish we'd have just tendered him at the 2nd Round. We'd have him at the cost of 1.5 mil more and no one would be sniffing him. Now I don't see us being able to retain him for less than it would have cost us to tag him at that number. And we aren't even going to try and match it if it gets to that number, which I expect it to. LB: I've liked what I've seen from Tyrel Dodson and Andre Smith in a pinch. I feel like Dodson can give us just as much as AJ Klein did. Replace Klein's roster spot with a late round pick Beane likes. CB: Round 1 or 2, most likely Round 1. It's a deep draft for CB. But we need a stud opposite Tre White to shut things down. Go out and draft a stud who can provide more than Levi did. If there's a decent CB available near the end of FA that wants to take a sweetheart deal to play here for added depth, by all means. Punter: Late Round Pick or UDFA to compete with Haack. I'd be interested in Araiza if he could be had in Round 5. I don't think he'll go as high as 3 as some are suspecting, but I don't know if he'll be there at the end of Round 5. Long story short - it's going to be the Draft and bargain FA's who are a fit from here on out.
  3. Minus: DE Jerry Hughes DE Mario Addison DE Efe Obada DT Harrison Phillips DT Vernon Butler DT Justin Zimmer But the replacements are definitely upgrades! Why not? We lost 6 guys and brought 5 guys in. We carried 6 DE's on the 53, we're at 5 now. We carried 5 DT's on the 53, we're at 5 now. It's possible Star Lotulelei is a post 6/1 cut, but it's just as likely he'll stay IMO. Everyone else will be here.
  4. Von Miller Bills Jerseys just popped up on the Bills store, just grabbed an Away Jersey. https://shop.buffalobills.com/collections/player_von-miller
  5. As long as it's under 1.5 million more. I don't see them placing the tender they placed on him instead of the 2nd Round tender which was 1.5 million more and then paying more than that to match the deal. Beane sets his prices and doesn't deviate.
  6. I'll be ordering mine the second they become available. I keep checking, but they haven't been up yet. Hoping they do an Away Jersey for him too. I have a Home Josh Jersey and have been meaning to get a White one - but they only offer that one for a select few players.

  8. If that were going to happen, they wouldn't have released him. His requesting permission to seek a trade meant either he simply wanted out, period, or we approached him about a lower offer and he wasn't interested. During that time being allowed to speak to other teams, he surely found out what other teams would pay him. If our offer ended up being the best option for him after speaking with teams, they'd have reworked the deal, not outright released him.
  9. Love the guy. But he's going to go somewhere between the bottom of the 1st and mid 2nd. They aren't going to make that kind of investment for a guy who's role is to be the 3rd down back. Singletary just finished off the season with months straight of looking the best he ever has as the primary ball carrier. I don't see them sticking by him as long as they have through his struggles and bringing in the guy to usurp him now when his stock is at it's highest. You don't pivot from signing a JD McKissic for that role to a 1st Round Pick or trade up from the 2nd Round.
  10. Everything I've been reading says Settle plays 1T. He has the versatility to play both. I think listing him as a strictly 3T is incorrect. Having a 1T in Jones and a guy who has played both is more than we've had in previous years at the position.
  11. But even if you thought 11 was a lot - 8, which is what we'll be at after adding Phillips and most likely losing Lotulelei, is the absolute minimum.
  12. Not crowded. Hell, we have room to add to it. Last season, we carried SIX DE's. Right now we have 4. Epenesa has shown little to nothing in his first 2 seasons. Basham was a healthy scratch for most of the season with the coaches viewing him as bottom of the DE depth chart. They will be rotational pieces and honestly, that's where they belong right now. Last season we carried 5 DT's. Right now we're carrying 4. Phillips isn't a 1T. But Settle and Jones are. Phillips will rotate with Oliver. Settle and Jones will rotate with each other. And Lotulelei may be a post 6/1 cut.
  13. Never been more happy to be wrong.
  14. ".... Zack Wilson's in danger" 😂
  15. To add to this, he never signed here. Free Agency didn't officially start until today. Monday to Wednesday, players can agree to deals with new teams - but they can't officially sign until Wednesday at 4 PM. So he agreed to a deal with us yesterday, but before he officially signed, he changed his mind and re-signed with Washington.
  16. Bit of a leap from what I posted, but okay. Obviously, this team's still a beast with our core in place. But when it comes to improving pass rush from the Edge which was looked at as one of our top needs with only 3 DE's under contract and no real game changers, that window is closing and closing fast.
  17. Backup QB won't be addressed until the carousel stops spinning and the best guy to not get a gig to start or compete to start is revealed. Tight End market is insane right now and I'd expect them to either draft Tommy Sweeney's replacement or address it later with the best available veteran FA after the markets slowed down.
  18. He's a name. That's about it. Atlanta let him leave, Tennessee had him for a year and cut him. If he was "still really good" neither would have happened.
  19. Shaq says he wants to be back and is trying. Jordan is making it seem as though he IS back. I think he'd look real dumb saying the stuff he's been saying if he didn't know it was going down.
  20. Rough couple hours. Chandler Jones signs with the Raiders. Yannick Ngakoue traded to the Colts. Von Miller reportedly going to return to the Rams. Uchenna Nwosu (who we were linked to) signs with the Seahawks. And now Za'Darius Smith signs with the Ravens. Starting to become real slim pickens at Defensive End. Highest ranked available in the PFT Top 100 being Jadeveon Clowney (who I don't see being a fit), Melvin Ingram, and... Jerry Hughes.
  21. But I don't understand? I was told by numerous posters on this board that the lack of Cap space doesn't matter? Hopefully, this is a learning experience for a lot of you.
