  1. Danger Zone Eye of the Tiger just for starters...
  2. I'm conflicted about this game. I usually love an agressive D, but against the Saints it may be wise to play more of a zone and force the Saints to make long drives to score. Philly got killed by the blitz, after their D was put in bad spots by turnovers.
  3. If we take care of the ball. amd don't turn the ball over, we will be OK.
  4. Agreed. T. McGee seems to combine Nate's coverage ability with an improving tackling ability thats approaching Winfield-esque.
  5. Very impressed with McGee, great to know he will be a long term Bill!
  6. I noticed this as well. I'd love to see how often we blitzed. It seemed like we brought xtra guys every time and only got truly burned on the last TD.
  7. I just want to commend the Bills on signing McGee. Great job Buffalo! I love it.
  8. How about this... 1- SB 25 2- SB 26 3- SB 27 4- SB 28 5- Home Run Throw Forward 6- 1995 Playoff Loss at Pitt 7- 1996 Playoff Loss at Home to Jax 8- 1988 AFC title game at Cinci 9- 1989 Ronnie Harmon Playoff Loss at Cle 10- 2004 loss to Pitt 2nd stringers that puts us in the playoffs Playoff losses are much harder to take, let alone SBs. Regular season losses may be large and hurt, but nothing compares to "Season Over" after hopes are really raised.
  9. BTW - Thanks for the recommendation. I was there with 2 co-workers and we had a great time (until the last 2 min). The bar was great and full of Bills fans. The Coors Light girls were hot (along with some of the patrons) and it was a really cool place to watch a game.
  10. Excellent! Thanks a lot. See you Monday.
  11. Going to be out there for the opener. The link in the backers forum is pretty old. Are there still Bills backers in Denver? In the alternative, any recommendations for a decent sports bar to watch the game Mon nite (I'm staying at the Sheraton Downtown on Court Place). Thanks.
  12. Bills 24 Pats* 23 Winning FG is with :02 left on the clock. Bills lose time of possession, are significantly outgained but special teams score a TD, so does TO and Fast Freddy.
  13. Agreed. The lines...the lines...the lines, doesn't matter which one.
  14. And I'll be the second. Hope AVP can pull this off.
  15. Dear God, please not a QB.
  16. Exactly! I get the early bird $270 "deal," kinda pissed because it went up again. I only have the basic service with 2 boxes (non-HD) and no movie channels. The only reason I have it is because of the Bills. I pay $270 to watch about 12 Bills games a year (I tend to go to 4 or so games per year). I rarely watch any other football with the package. This is the first I've heard of side deals, I admit to not paying much attention to the threads on this. Is DTV offering lower prices on ST if you call and complain? I've been a subscriber since 2000, except 2002-04 when one of my apts didn't allow a dish on the roof (I know they can't do it, but it wasn't worth the fight; besides I went to McFaddens every Sunday).
  17. One of the best comedies of all time.
  18. I thought if Seymour doesn't report, and thus does not take his physical, the Raiders can void the deal and get their 1st rounder back.
  19. Now you are talkin my language. Absolutely!
  20. I have no idea. Guy signed TKO, Adams and a few other decent players. But there is scant little evidence that Guy ever unearths the proverbial diamond in the rough a la Bryce Paup.
  21. Walker was a decent RT. Not sure why he wouldn't move back to RT if Bell was going to start at LT.
  22. I agree. Sean DeLonas had a great cartoon today (its not online yet), showing a Dad saying to his wife "I'm not letting them watch Obama at school, it could warp their minds," Meanwhile the kids are playing violent and sexual video games sitting mere inches from the TV. Excellent juxtaposition.
  23. AVP was home grown and kept on DJ's staff, so it wouldn't really be fair to call him a DJ guy. We can only hope for the lucky stick.
  24. Thats what I fgured. Of course, Donahoe did sign Lawyer Milloy (on the wrong side of 30 to a L-T contract), so I think that goes out the window. Just speculating here but I think Pat wasn't one of Donahoe's guys and was a John Butler leftover, perhaps why he got the shaft.
  25. OK, I'll ask because I was (and still am) confounded by the Pat Williams thing. At the time, I thought it was the worst move possible for the team. Here's a career Bill, with a wife and businesses in WNY, who just played the game of his life against Pittsburgh (one of the few who showed up) and was posied to excel even further after a consistent and honorable career. He should have been re-signed and retired a Bill and I was angry that Donahoe did not even try to re-sign Pat. Is there anything you can tell as to why Pat was not re-signed? If not (and not in a public forum), then thats OK too.
