  1. Eh...school systems have been indoctrinating children for decades about them being "special". Heaping oneself with pride, kissing ones' own a** , boasting, bragging etc...normal, everyday stuff. Tebow is a product of that. And his college seems to buy into it.
  2. A review is in order...CIN played the 1st or 2nd most difficult strength-of schedule going into last season and that also held at the end of the season. They were ranked #12 in overall defense last season, 2 spots above the Bills: http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?arc...e&Submit=Go It's my understanding that Raji is more an NT in a 3 -4, which CIN doesn't use. Last year, they re-signed DT Domato Peko to a fat contract, and drafted DTs Pat Sims - Auburn at #3 and Jason Shirley at #5. Anything's possible, but I really don't see them looking at any DT with their 1st pick.
  3. I try to refrain from making much comment on individual Bills players, since I so seldom see their games. I do "watch" on the CSB Sportsline and nfl.com "Game Day", however. That gives one a pretty good picture of trends throughout the game - including starting field positions for both clubs. Without the consistent edge the Bills' special teams deliver, I wonder what their record would have been the past few years. Dispensing with Parrish makes no sense to me.
  4. Sooooo...the '70's are "retro". Oh my.
  5. What was the name of that guard...Berube or something like that, that played (I think) when Lobo was there? Heck of a player...
  6. FWIW, CIN played the 1st or 2nd most difficult strength-of schedule going into last season and that also held at the end of the season. They were ranked #12 in overall defense last season, 2 spots above the Bills: http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?tab...mp;d-447263-n=1
  7. Here's Walter William's column of a few weeks ago - Sweden's Government Health Care: http://www.gmu.edu/departments/economics/w...tHealthCare.htm It's my understanding that "universal" health care systems discriminate based on age, in as that as you get older, certain procedures are denied for "cost savings" purposes. That approach also serves to reduce payouts from a retirement system such as social security...
  8. Doesn't every team get an allocation of Superbowl tickets?
  9. Ah, right you are. I had it in my mind that he was a rfa...
  10. I would guess that they would use him as a goal line receiver, as they often did with LB Mike Vrabel. And he's a half-way decent tight end, too.
  11. He's quick. According to this Cincinnati Enquirer article yesterday, Barwin did go and visit BUF. http://news.cincinnati.com/article/2009031.../303180053/1064 UC fielded an almost all-senior club last season, so there was more to look at than Barwin. Six of their players were invited to the combine. I don't know if he was in attendance, but OG Trevor Canfield has gotten a bit of draft ink. DT Terill Byrd merits watching.
  12. I guess the few that aren't pursuing a degree in criminal justice, Afro-Centric studies, communications etc. - are.
  13. It is of long standing... The folks that want to make endless distinctions between socialism, fascism, communism. It is all the same. A ruling cadre that dismisses the general population as a body inferior, to be manipulated, controlled, silenced, incarcerated, ultimatly killed. A cadre that collects willing acolytes.
  14. How many games did you see him play, that makes you say with such certainty, that he is the "same type of player"?
  15. He might not be on the board when BUF's 2nd round rolls around.
  16. Yes - Cincinnati. Watched him play for 2 years. I'll add - he doesn't hesitate in delivering a hard whack even if a penalty ensues. His combine performance seems to have vaulted him up in the draft. http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/connor...le-tab-analysis

  18. That doesn't negate a trade possibility. If all parties are agreeable, Team A can offer a quick tender to a player, he can sign that, it gets called in to the league office, and when it is approved, seconds later Team B can execute the pre-arranged trade with Team A.
  19. Gringo is a skinny-legged peddler of joy.
  20. Bad post. Some here question the low limits of legally being drunk. But you post seems to be an exoneration of all culpability, followed up by a personal selfishness. Re-think what you wrote...
  21. What about the neo-communists? They are wildly more prevalent..
